Hawk ran back to where she was resting and saw that her wounds had opened up. Quickly, he ran into the woods and found a beech tree. Since beech leaves were antibacterial and large, they worked as great bandages. He ran back to her and started tying the leaves to her wounds with extra rope he had in his backpack. He was really glad that the golem didn't bother to take it from him. If only he was able get his weapons back. "You see," he whispered to her as he worked, "this is how you're supposed to heal someone."

Her eyes opened again when he came back. She laughed shakily as he worked, "Not around here. And you were already healed Hawk, it was the scars and your arm. Magic caused it its better fixed with magic." She blinked a few times as she groaned and turned over. It reallt hurt. "You know Hawk you could just leave me here. Or you could have taken me to be killed. Thank you." She said softly.
"Well, I guess it isn't as invigorating to do a coup de gras." he mused. "Besides, I'm a hunter, not evil." He commented back to her. The leaves were doing their job with stopping the blood flow. In a few minutes they would hopefully clot. or maybe not, he wasn't quite sure about their exact anatomy. He left that to the researchers.
"Most of us can't tell the difference. Some us are simply killed for being different than humans. Villages are killed at a time, my people being hunted." She closed her eyes. "Hunters are not that welcome here." She murmured. "Thank you Hawk." She couldn't tell id he was like the other Hunters she had heard about. But he didn't seem like it.
"It's me who should be thanking you." He said sitting next to her. "So where are all of the other Mythics? I thought we would have seen some by now." asked Hawk. He had been shifting in and out of trains of thought about what would happen to him, or even the fairy if he was discovered. He then thought about what happened to his brother. Hawk knew that he was shot from behind by an elf archer years ago, but could there have been more to the story than he was told. He has always sought revenge on that elf, but never considered its side of the story. He then refocused back to his escape plan. It was a bad practice to sympathies with your prey.
"Most of them are back in the Haven. Scared of coming out here I guess. I know some other fairies that are around here."She sat up and looked at him. She looked down at the scars that were starting to close up and smiled a little. She really had no idea what to expect from this hunter. He showed her kindness but then again he had to make somebody really mad in order to earn the wounds. But, even the sight of a Hunter made all of the Haven's go wild. He could have simply been passing through. She looked up from her scars at at him
he pulled out the small crystal blade and took out a long length of rope. He worked on tying the rope to the handle, trying to replicate the hook blade he had lost. He decided that he would guard her until she was capable of defending herself, then he would get out of here. If the probability of finding anyone else was low, and she was still a source of information, it was worth staying. Besides, he owed her that much for healing him.
She looked at the blade he had. It was nice. She didn't carry around weapons. She laid back on the grass, "So Hawk, how is it? Outside of the Haven? In the rest of Earth? Have you been there?" She heard about wars. She knew that the world outside the Haven was messed up. It was an awful place to be. That's what she learned at least. She opened her eyes to look at him.
"Compared to here, it's terrible. But compared to how it used to be, it's gotten better. There's still wars, poverty, all sorts of nasty stuff. But I'm ok with is since it's all I've ever known."
"That's awful." She whispered. She looked at him and then at the ground. She moved the bunny to her lap and smiled. She wasn't sure why but this bunny was pretty much always with her.
"So are you at least feeling a little better?" He asked. He paused as he heard a rustle come from deeper in the woods. "That wouldn't be one of your's, would it?" He asked cautiously.
She tensed when she heard it, "Might be. Animals come to me for healing and some fairies hang around here." She told him as she stroked her bunny. She was kind of wishing they could continue talking.
"Well whatever it is, it seems to have gone away." He commented as he listened. The rustling had stopped, but he still had his guard up. "So, what happens to you if heal an animal's tail? Do you grow a wounded tail?"
She laughed, "It does not work like that. I just feel their pain. The poor things that happens to them. Its not only on my skin but it also hurts my heart to see what people do to them." She sighed and looked at the ground for a second.
"So you felt exactly like I did." He said pondering it. "Why did you bother healing me then if you knew you would just get hurt?"
"Because I would rather take that pain from you instead of let you carry it. Even if you are a Hunter. No one deserves that pain." She answered softly as she stroked the bunny
"That doesn't mean that you should have to bear that pain ether." He stated to her. It was a fact, not a question. "It just replaces the physical pain with guilt."
She smiled at him, "I am fine with the pain if it means others don't have it. You see, that's what I am like. Other.. Beings don't think the same way." She admitted as she rubbed her arm.
"Well, a large percentage that did feel that way are martyrs." He said solemnly. "What I mean to say is, just be careful about it. If I was any less decent of a human, you would be dead or in some laboratory somewhere."
"You were probably still thinking about it either way." She said softly as she loked down at the ground. "I'm just glad to help Hawk and if one day someone kills me after I heal them..." She swallowed.
"Do you have a house anywhere near here I can get you to? It's starting to get dark out. I'd say about an hour and a half left." He commented while measuring the distance between the sun and the horizon.
She laughed and shook her head, "No houses I am afraid. I live where I am welxome and a house is not a home." She said as she started to stroke her bunny again
"Well, do you want me to make a shelter then. I don't want to risk making a fire in this situation. Honestly I'm surprised no one has heard us yet."
She looked at him and smiled, "You can go if you would like Hawk. You have no obligation to me." She nodded as she pushed herself from the ground.
"No it isn't that. I mean, yes I want to go home, but I also want to make sure you're ok first. Also, here seems to be a lot safer than the road out of the haven."
She looked at him, "You have a home to go to, go. I will be fine really. I am very much alright by myself. Again, you have no obligation to me." She smiled, "Go on home."
((Well it seems to be going in that direction. Unless we add some conflict or something but I couldn't imagine what.))
((I have another character open if you want I can bring him in? Unless you want to end it))
((Thank you! You wanna start?))
((Sure.)) "Listen, nothing you can say will make me leave you. I owe you that much." He said back to her. He heard the rustling returning, but a lot closer this time. His hunting instincts kicked in subconsciously and he felt himself reach for the crystal.
She perked up when she heard the rustling. "Hawk go find a bushtl to hide or something!" She said quietly as her wings fluttered. She took a sniff of the air and frowned.
Simon ran through the trees. He needed to just run. He was a little mad but he didn't care. He was just running
Simon ran through the trees. He needed to just run. He was a little mad but he didn't care. He was just running
He nodded her and shot her a look that seemed to say "stay safe." He then silently dashed into the deep woods and scampered up a tree. He was just within earshot of the clearing, and remains completely motionless.
Simon ran and ran until he bumped into Mira and knocked them both to the ground. Hr frowned and looked at her as she rubbed her head. "Sorry." He said as he got off of her and helped her up. "...Mira?"
Mira nodded, "Simon are you okay?" She asked softly as she listened. She wished she could tell Hawk where to hide. The animals were talking away trying to tell Simon where Hawk was

He remained still, knowing that the slightest movement would give away his location. Thankfully he was well camouflaged into the leaves and bark of the tree, thanks to his years of experience. He noticed anther mythic who ran into the fairy girl, and hoped she knew enough to keep quiet about him. He trusted her enough, but she was maybe just a little too kind to everyone. A chattering squirrel was staring at him from the branch over, and it looked like it was having a panic attack.
Simon took her arm and frowned, "Mira what happened? You're..." He looked at her closely and scowled, "You're covered in scars." He looked at her and waited for the answer. He didn't know Mira well but he knew that she never really got mad at people. Well there was that one time with the stubborn elf but other than that never.
Mira took her arm back and smiled, "I was healing a little bear who called for his mom."

Hawk real used that the other figure was a wizard. He had taken down a few wizards before, the trick was to stay hidden until they were distracted, then knock them out quickly before they can utter any spells or use any abilities. That wouldn't work now though, since he was playing the defensive game. He didn't think the fairy would like it if he captured her friend.
He frowned, "I can heal you." He offered. He stopped for a moment and grabbed her wrist tightly. "Right after you tell me who you're hiding?" He said as he pulled a knife and held it to her throat. He didn't want to hurt Mira but whatever she was hiding was big. She was a good actress but lying was not her strong point.
Mira swallowed, "No one Simon. Why would I lie to you?"
Mira swallowed, "No one Simon. Why would I lie to you?"
In one graceful motion, he dropped down from the tree and landed without making a sound. As quickly and quietly as he could, he worked his way around the perimeter of the clearing until he was positioned with the wizard's back to him. He slowly pulled the crystal blade out of his scabbard and waited for the right opportunity to nail him.
Simon pressed the knife to her neck a little, trying so hard not to hurt her bit to scare her at least, "Tell me Mira." He growled in her ear. He was having a bad day. Usually he was nice but he hated that she was lying to him
Mira coughed a little, "Simon, stop that. It hurts. I'm not hiding anything." She said as she tried to back away from the knife.

While they were talking, he slid out from the bushes, and crept up to the wizard. He grabbed him by the torso and threw him over his shoulders. The wizard hit the ground with a thud as Hawk turned to face him, standing in between her and the wizard. He swung his blade in a circular motion by the rope.
He felt a pound on his back and a light buzz go through him. Simon's eyes widened as he used his power to push Hawk back. Whie Hawk was flying he looked at Mira, "A Hunter?!" He exclaimed as he rubbed his pounding head. His head was going to explode but he was mad.
Mira opened her mouth to explain but Simon used his power and simply threw her against a tree like she was a bothersome fly.

After his vision returned to normal from the impact. He rushed up towards the wizard, his blade swinging in dangerously persice strokes. This clown had to be dealt with quickly before she got any more hurt. As he blasted her back, hawk sent his blade flying strait towards his chest, anticipating him to block it somehow as he set up his distance.
