"Well that makes one of us." She told him. She frowned a bit as she looked at his human form. She did not want to fight and usually she was pretty nice to people

HE smiled and started walking away. "I have to go now. I caused quite a mess." He showed the achers of destroyed forest. "I'll see you around."

She shook her head and then turned away from him and climbed up one of the trees behind her. She sighed, she would never learn the ways of the Haven. Never.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments Hawk woke up to the sound of a slow babble of water. At first he wondered where the water had come from, but then the thought mutated to where he was. He tried to sit up and instantly felt his muscles tense up in pain. When his vision readjusted, he saw he was lying in the woods somewhere, in a bush of what appeared to be Mountain Laurel. A few yards away there was a clearing that the water noise was coming from. Then it all came back to him. The golem, the power binds, and getting crushed and stabbed. Then the golem had tried taking him to the haven, but he got away on the way there. He reached for his bag and produced a large crystal fragment he had chipped off of the golem's back. It was sharp, as Lind as a dagger, and was fairly balanced in his hand. Slowly he managed to get up, now realizing the dark grey scars all over his body, and made his way to the river to get his bearings.

Mira spoke to one of the animals. Her wingers were tucked in as she swung her legs in the stream. It was so nice here. The bunny had come to ask for healing so of course she could not deny such a request. The bunny hopped in her lap so she stroked it with a smile. "Good girl." She hummed lowly. She needed to get away from everything. The mean dragons the stupid elves. All of it. Here was a nice place to relax.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments As he got closer to the stream, being as quiet as possible, he noticed that there was someone facing away from him in the stream taking to animals. She appeared to be a mythic, and was communicating with various birds and rodents. On any other day, this would be a dream hunt, but his current physical state and lack of weapons made any sort of hunting impossible. Right now, he had to get out of here without discovery. Slowly, he crouched behind a thick bush, trying to think of a plan.

message 57: by [deleted user] (new)

"You can come out. I won't hurt you. The animals want to know why you are hiding." She said softly as she turned to the bush he had been hiding in. "I won't hurt you." She repeated. Her voice was soft and gentle as she stroked the bunny. The bunny looked a little anxious but she didn't really notice. She had no weapons on her so she was harmless.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments Hawk cursed himself for being seen, and he my as well abide by what she says. She already knew that he was here, and there was no way he would out run her. He shoved the crystal into his empty scimitar scabbard and stepped out into the clearing. His albino skin deeply contrasted the dark rock like scars all over his body from when the golem had him cocooned. Although he was no longer bleeding, he was in extreme pain, and the fast healing spell had caused the scars to be permanent. His clothes were also tainted red from his own blood, especially in the gut where he had been stabbed.

message 59: by [deleted user] (new)

She gasped when she caught sight of him. He looked so hurt. She had never seen anyone like that. Not here at least. "Oh my..." She whispered as she set the bunny down and stood up. "What..." She walked over to him slowly. She wondered if she could heal all of the scars. And the blood that was on his clothes. "Oh no..." She whispered. "Are you alright? Please tell me how I can help." She said, her voice laced with concern.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments Hawk quickly read her tone of voice and judged that she ether genuinely cared, or was a really good actor. Still, she was a mythic, and it would be best to keep as much from her as possible. "I doubt anything at this point." he said shortly looking at his arm. "At least not anything you can do." he continued with a hint of unintended aggression.

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled a little, "I probably shouldn't help a Hunter. The other fairies will hate me. They would advise me to kill you right now. But don't worry I won't. Let me help you?" She didn't want to see him like that. He looked in pain. She really hated seeing people in pain. It hurt her a little

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "Can you just tell me how to get out of here? The sooner I leave, the safer I am. You've just said so yourself." He responded trying to hide his fear of his situation, and his hatred towards mythics in general. He was unaware of his arms tremoring slightly.

message 63: by [deleted user] (new)

She looked down at his arm and then gently put her hand out to touch it. "Your hurt. Please let me help." She looked up at him and frowned. He was in really bad condition. "I want to help." She nodded.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "Wha... What do you have in mind?" He asked as he pulled his arm away. He figured that even if he tried to leave, she'd follow or get help. Not to mention he still didn't know where he was. He also was hesitant about sorcery, since that is why he was in this mess in the first place.

message 65: by [deleted user] (new)

"I heal animals, I know that you are a human but I can try." She said softly as she took her hand back. "Let me help you pleaseeeeeee." She smiled.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments He sighed, knowing he wasn't going to get out of this. "Ok, but no one can know I was ever here, and there may be a group of myth... I mean um people looking for me." His shoulders became less tense, and became more relaxed.

message 67: by [deleted user] (new)

Dhe smiled, "Okay. And trust me I don't think that those people will get you. Not here at least. So sit down. Do you want water? I have some." She looked at the bunny who had come next to her

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments He squeezed his lower arm tightly, then removed his grip. an imprint of his hand was visible for a few seconds before diasapearing. "Yes, some water would be nice." He responded. He eyed the rabbit suspiciously.

message 69: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay yeah. So your all wounded up. I think that I should heal your arm first. That would be ideal, then maybe I can try and heal the rest of you?" She handed him some bottled water. It was fresh and rather cool. She watched him look at the bunny and smiled.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments He slowly drank the water and instantly felt a lot better. "So how does this healing thing work? I vaguely remember after I... Anyways, I think a rapid healing spell caused the scars to begin with."

message 71: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh. "Who would do that?" She murmured as she gently put her hand on his arm and began to heal it slowly. If you did it too quick it usually didn't last long. At least that's how it worked for her.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "I never caught his name, but it was a power industry by the looks of him. Him and I had a disagreement." He felt a tingling feeling in his arm, as she worked.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments ((*power binder))

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

"I never got your name. A name would be nice." She said as she continued to heal him. She could hear the animals yelling against it but she ignored them.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "Hawk." He said shortly. He never gave his name to another mythic before, so he felt safe with her knowing. He couldn't shake this uncomfortable feeling about her, like she was waiting for the right opportunity to pounce. Every mythic he had met up to this point was savage, or overzealous with power, except her.

message 76: by [deleted user] (last edited Sep 24, 2015 01:32PM) (new)

"I'm Mira." She smiled at him. "How does your arm feel?" She asked as she looked at the bunny. Master please stop! Your hurting yourself! And he is a Hunter! She heard in her head. She sighed and ignored the voices. She didn't want him to keep hurting so she was helping him.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "It feels painful, but in a good way. Like pulling out a thorn. How does this work anyways?" He asked. He could never wrap his mind around magic, or where it came from, and what was its limits. If you were to fight something, it's best to understand it first.

message 78: by [deleted user] (new)

She sighed, "I don't really know. I was born with it. I didn't teach myself it. I guess I can see why its weird, maybe to a human." She looked at him, "Hm, your stomach, was it stabbed?" She looked down at the blood on his shirt with concern

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "It isn't deep, and nothing significant was damaged, but yes." he responded. He had never thought about things from a mythic's perspective before. Sure humans were selfish by pure ambition and lust for power, but only because they had no power to begin with. The only way to be on the same level as a mythic was to drag them down to our level, regardless of how they feel. He instantly shook off these thoughts, and realized that she looked like the process was hurting her. "Are you ok?" he asked her.

message 80: by [deleted user] (new)

She smiled at him and then nodded, "Its not about me being okay. Its me helping you." She said as she looked at his stomach. She felt the effects of healing right away with the animals and she was starting to feel a light buzz, but she ignored them for now, "Not to your scars. How many do you have? I can see you have alot, but you know... I'm just a dumb fairy so what do I know?" She gazed at him up and down. He was hurt everywhere she wouldn't even know where to begin.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "I don't think you're dumb, but you do look tired. Maybe we should stop. Besides, I'm pretty sure these scars aren't going away any time soon anyways." He commented, noticing how tired she looked.

message 82: by [deleted user] (new)

She looked at him and then hung her head in shame. She was very tired. Every time she healed she recieved the wounds of those that she healed and it took much if her energy. Everyone told her not to heal but she needed to help. She picked her head up, "I said I was going to heal you thats what I am going to do."

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments He looked at her with a newfound concern. He knew there was something else going on here, but couldn't really comprehend yet. Then he began to question these feelings. Why should he care about what happens to her, he makes a living hunting her kind. Hesitantly he responded "Ok, but don't over do it."

message 84: by [deleted user] (new)

She laughed a little and shook her head. She gently put her hand on his forehead. She was going to try and heal all the scars all at once. It should work but there was also a high chance that it would burn her out. She ignored that and slowly started to heal him.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments Hawk felt a shivering feeling all throughout his body, and he noticed the animals around him going ballistic. "Um, what's with them?" He asked her.

message 86: by [deleted user] (new)

She swallowed, "They want me to stop. They're afraid your going to hurt me once your healed." She murmured as she continued to heal him, "But you won't... will you?" She looked at him.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "No, of course not. I may be, you know, but I'm not going to do anything to you. I don't think I'd be able to if I tried. " he said awkwardly, completely failing at trying to conceal the fact that he had considered it. "I mean, if you want me to capture you I would but... I'll stop talking now."

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

"Sh." She soothed as she continued to heal him. She knew that he had probably thought about it. In fact she knew that he might do it, or leave her for dead when she was done. She was going to help him though. Whatever he did he didn't deserve this. She smiled at him and finished healing him.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments Hawk shivered a little bit, but then felt ten times better. His scars had almost completely faded away, and he could barely feel that he was sore. "Wow thank you... Are you ok?" He said to her.

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

She stumbled backwards and fell down. Her whole body hurt. She felt the pain go through her. She gasped as she clutched the grass around her. She continued to gasp for air. She needed air. The animals around her came and gathered around her as she laid down on the ground and gasped

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "Oh my gosh, what happened to you" he asked her as he tried to get closer to help her up. The animals perked up and growled at him, so he kept his distance. "I thought you said you were ok?"

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

"Yeah." She laughed as she turned over and curled into a ball. Pain. That was about all she felt, "I lied, forgive me." She nodded. The scars that he had had appeared on her. She took in a sharp breath and bit back a scream. It hurt, "They really did a number on."

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "Did I do this to you?" He asked, recognizing the scars. "You have to transfer it back."

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

"No! There is no way to undo a healing." She closed her eyes as she felt a sharp pain in her arm.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "Then what else can I do to help you! Please, tell me." He said fully panicked at what had just happened. He couldn't stand seeing her like that. He had trained for years on how to survive on his own and deal with this kind of pain, but she was just a girl, no mythic.

message 96: by [deleted user] (new)

She kept her eyes closed as she listened to him. His voice was distant and smooth. Like a lullaby telling her to go. Her bunny nudged her head, trying to wake her up, but she was to gone. She felt like she was leaving, but she didn't know where to and where from. Her body slumped as she drifted off.

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments ((So did she die, or go unconscious?))

message 98: by [deleted user] (new)

((Asleep))

Rudd (Taco Chimera)Φ | 677 comments "No. Please still be alive!" He said as he ignored the animals and checked her pulse. She was still breathing, and was still alive. He gave a sigh of relief, but then began to contemplate what to do. Normally he would bring her strait to the nearest medic, but the nearest medic was her. Even if he found someone else, what were the odds that the person wouldn't kill him on sight, or detain him. He could think about this later, right now he had to get her to someplace safe. He carried her over to the tree line so that she would be in the shade, but still in the open if someone were to casually find her. Then he hiked around the surrounding area to see if there were anyone else he could manipulate into finding her. after a few hours of searching, he gave up and headed back to the stream. He felt terribly about the entire thing, and did his best to suppress the temptations of just bringing her back to his employers.

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

The pain was hot and red. That was all she could think about. The pain being hot and red. Normally she could take the pain but this time it hurt too much. It hurt to much to ignore. She had no idea how deep the connections of the medicine could go. And least not until her eyes opened and she saw the red. It was all over her. The red was everywhere. The svars were starting to bleed but she didn't care. Her body hurt. She couldn't move. Her throat was dry. She needed to scream but it hurt. She tried to call for someone but all she saw was the red. Was Hawk still around? Was he still with her. Maybe she could ask him for help? No. All too soon she startes to go back to sleep.
