Gypsy had enough time to run a brush through her hair and find her glasses, forcing them onto her face. It was easier to put on the glasses than to put in the contacts that people found unsettling anyway.
Making sure very one looked appropriate now, they soon heard a knock at the door. Gypsy trotted to the door and answered it while everyone took their places, trying to look as casual as possible.

Amethyst pulled back, a blush forming on her cheeks as she looked around the room as the many people stared at their interactions.
"Hi," She waved awkwardly at everyone, her eyes wide, her voice shy.

The others cracked up as Gypsy's cheeks turned just as red out of anger.
"Hey now." She couple of people tried to defuse the situation, but Gypsy already had Amethyst's wrist and pulled her out of the apartment. She closed the door with a slam and a frustrated sigh add she and Amethyst stood in the empty hall of doors. "Sorry about that." She said with a sigh, cooling herself off, "They're... like living with apes." She said then reached out and waved get hand slightly till she touched Amethyst's arm. She then pulled her in an engulfed her in a big hug, "What happened?" She asked, quickly dismissing her roommates. They easily for on her nerves, but right now she wanted to know what was the problem with her friend.

Before amethyst knew it she was surrounded by Gypsy. Warmth and comfort washed over Amethyst as her arms wrapped around her.
"Gypsy," She breathed in, closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around Gypsy's neck, "I'm sorry, Artie came over and he's already smoking and I told him I didn't want drugs. I don't know Gypsy. I took him back but it doesn't feel okay." She bit down on her bottom lip, tracing her fingers up to the bottom of her neck and twirling a piece of her hair around her finger.

It broke her heart a little too hear that Amethyst had gotten back with Artie, but it didn't surprise her too much. "It's ok though. Things will be fine." She assured and pulled Amethyst's closer, resting her head on the girl's shoulder.

"I just don't know." She whispered, "thank you so much." She leaned into Gypsy, content, though her body throbbing. She wanted nothing more than to feel her lips again, but her mind kept slipping back to her boyfriend down the hall. God if he opened the door he would suspect something, but she didn't care. She felt okay in her arms, she felt safe.

A sudden look of concern crossed Gypsy's face as her eyebrows pushed together, "Will you be moving in with him?" She asked.
Gypsy would admit that their friendship likely wouldn't have lasted add long as it has if Amethyst didn't live closer by. Though Gypsy liked to get out, the outside world was very stressful, especially when her motivations were made because of someone else. She didn't like to do things for other people, but who does?

"No, oh no." A small laugh fluttered from between her lips, "Trust me, I couldn't handle living with him. He has too many druggies over that are his friends." She shrugged and sniffled, their hands interlocked as her breathing slowed. Gypsy had a way of calming her down. SHe didn't know why or how, but the girl did, "I should," She shook her head, her swollen eyes twinkling, "Probably get back." She leaned in and pressed a lingering kiss on the girl's cheek, blood rushing to her own, "Thank you," She whispered before stepping back and turning toward her own apartment.

Gypsy could tell that the girl was crying from the way of her choked-up way of breathing. But why? She did not get the sense that Amethyst was completely at ease, even though she seemed to leave a bit more calm than how she came. It was an awfully short visit...
Gypsy leaned back against the door frame for a moment. Slowly she turned, opening the door and walked back into the apartment, now officially in a very drowsy mood. Her empathy tended to be extreme, even though rationally she didn't understand what the big deal was.
"I'll be right back, okay?" She announced before grabbing her keys and skipping out the door. Amethyst closed the door and breathed out, pressing her back behind it before sauntering down the hall and rapping her knuckles on the door she had been told was Gypsy's. Despite her comfort with gypsy, she felt her heart pounding, her nerves pressed. Was it because she hadn't met Gypsy's family? Was she nervous they wouldn't accept her? Wouldn't like her?
