Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst giggled lightly, "That is true. I mean." She shrugged, "Ooh, what, I mean if they don't want to get married then they don't have to. Marriage is simply a piece of paper. Well. And better taxes, but I mean -"And her phone began to ring, she glanced down at the caller ID and shook her head, breathing out sharply.

"Ugh." She bit down on her lower lip and decided to ignore the phone, punching the silent button and sliding it under her thigh, he could wait. This was her day. Why was he calling her anyways? Her heart dropped in her chest, what if something had happened to him?

"Have you been to the theater before? I know that's an odd question but I haven't been to this one." She laughed lightly and then immediately averted her eyes to her lap. Gypsy was blind. And they were going to "see" a movie. She couldn't help but feel ridiculous as she didn't make that connection before.

On the other hand, her mind was driving her mad with thoughts about Artie. She pulled out her phone and quickly sent out a text: I'm busy right now.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy was quiet and listened to Amethyst's phone go off. She barely listened to the girl after hearing the ring tone; but by the sound of Amethyst's reaction, it wasn't another pleasant. "Who's calling?" She asked curiously.

Artie immediately texted back: Why didn't you answer the phone? Where are you?
Even though they'd broken up, he still checked on her constantly, always wanting to make up and hang out again. He never claimed to change his ways, but it was obvious he really wanted hey back.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst shook her head, her heart changing patterns as she recieved the text back. She thought for a moment about what to say and then turned to Gypsy, "Remember how I told you I just broke up with someone?" She rolled her eyes, "Guess who's calling."

She turned her attention back to her phone, You don't know them. She replied shortly, wanting nothing more than to be short with him at the moment. She closed her eyes for a moment and imagined him, smoking weed in his favorite, beat up chair. Ugh. He wasn't worth it.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Amethyst's imagination was spot on. Artie cussed to himself as he sat around his livingroom with some others and passing a joint. He called her again and put the phone to his ear, unpleasant with her answer. He was the jealous type and with the answer she gave him, he quickly assumed she'd moved on to someone else.

Gypsy nodded understandingly then laughed faintly, able to hear the phone go off under her thigh again. "Why don't you turn your phone off? We're about to go into the theatre anyway." She said then moved her hand up and pat Amethyst's shoulder as they came to a stop, "Oh, and Louis' chocolate bar."

Louis looked back and smiled at them kindly, "We're here ladies."

message 105: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst looked down at the buzzing phone and shook her head, "You know what, you're right. It's rude to keep your phone on in the movies." She laughed lightly and immediately hung up on him mid-call, turning the phone off as she did so. It made her anxious - in a way she couldn't explain, but she wasn't going to worry about it. In a way, she wasn't exactly sure why they were together, or had been together, but she wasn't going to fret over it.

"Ooh, yes," Amethyst dug through the bag and plucked the chocolate bar out of it, slipping it up to the front seat to Louis, "Thank you so much!" She scouted over toward the door and opened it, standing up onto the side walk as crowds of individuals brushed by her. The theatre seemed to be slow with business in the day time. It wasn't a bad thing, Amethyst though, in fact she liked being one of the only ones in a theater. It made making comments and chatting more fun.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments When Amethyst turned off her phone, Artie tossed his phone aside and cussed to himself. Currently he was too intoxicated to do anything about it, but he could track her down with persistence if he wanted to.

Gypsy snuggled back in her seat and crisscrossed her legs with a huge sack of candy in her lap. "To your question from earlier: yes. I do see movies a lot. I like them quite a bit actually. But I like audio books more." She crammed a few gummed in her mouth and spoke again with a small laugh, "Do you go out and see movies a lot?"

message 107: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst tossed her purse down into the seat next to her and stretched her legs out to the seat infront of her. There wasn't anyone in the theatre yet and they had decided to go with a completely random movie that she had never heard of before.
"What kind of books do you listen to?" She tilted her head to the side, but then considered Gypsy's question, "To be honest, going out to coffee is about as much as I do, other than going out with my . . well I wouldn't consider them friends every now and again. I mostly study at the library. Maybe we should make it a point to go see a movie once every. . " She poked a finger to lip, "Once every two weeks." She smiled over at Gypsy and tried hard to ignore her phone. Artie wasn't important. He wasn't in her life anymore, but truly she was fooling herself.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy popped a hard candy in her mouth and made a weird face as she tried to stick it between her teeth and her gum. "You should get out more." She said frankly towards the screen even though she was speaking to Amethyst.

She pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose and fiddled with her cane that leaned against her chair. "That's easy for me to say though." She said truthfully, "I don't work, you know. I move around a lot too." She itched her cheek and blubbered softly, "I never want a stable job anyway. Even if I have to sleep in an ally. I need to travel." She said.

Gypsy was aware that few people were able to do what she did: traveling with no expenses, with a couple of daddies that would pay for anything for her. She didn't feel too bad about it though. Her older brother, Isreal, refused to speak to his family or take anything from then sense their mother died. She didn't understand it, but her values weren't the most practical.

message 109: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethsyt shook her head, "I completely understood. I mean, if I could do that, I totally would. Just travel the world." She tilted her head to the side, tipping her chin toward the ceiling as she stared, "What's it like? Where have you been? This is truly my first big trip. I mean, if you even call it that."

She snapped out of her thoughts and moved her eyes back down toward Gypsy who stared at the screen, "Where do you want to be the most? Like is there a place that would make you want to stay and not travel as much?" She wondered out loud, not sure if the girl would answer all of her questions, as she was rambling, but she still was curious.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy listened too her and was quiet for a moment after as the movie began to start. "I started my travel in California. Actually I was running away. I'd gotten into a fight with my dad. I was, you know: stupid, frustrated, younger than I am now. I didn't know my way around, but eventually I found myself on a bus. Then I met some people, and it turns out they were gypsies." She said faintly and moved the candy around in her mouth, letting it clatter against her teeth.
"It was crazy really. I didn't know they actually existed- but they did. Just a big group of people, traveling the world and living off the grid." It wasn't often that she got to tell people about this adventure. It was exciting, and suddenly she wanted them to share all their secrets with one another.

She took A moment to listening to the opening credits then continued. "Even though I don't get along with my dads too well, I like my old home- where I grew up. It was on the beach." She said.

message 111: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "Whoa," Amthyst gasped, her legs slipping to the floor as she tugged on the edges of her dress, twisting in the chair to easily lay her eyes on Gypsy.

"So, is that why you're here now? Living with your . . are they like your family? Wow. That's so cute! I had no clue." She breathed out, biting down on her lower lip as the questions slipped from her. All she could think about was Gypsy on the road with a bunch of people. The more she thought about their phone conversation earlier the more she realized, "Are they the voices on the phone? I thought maybe you were on a train or something, but now that I think about it." She smiled giddily, her heart pounding excitedly.

The part she loved the most was that the girl's name described her in ways any other name could never do. There would never be any justice in any other name.

"Gypsy." She rolled the sweet name off of her tongue and giggled lightly, closing her eyes for a moment as the movie started, but she wasn't paying attention. It was only them still and there wasn't anyone stopping them from speaking.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy laughed slightly, "Yes, the name is ironic." She said, resting her head back in the chair. "What's even more ironic, is the woman I got it from was a former gypsy herself." She gave a small nod to Amethyst's conclusion as she chomped on the hard candy.

"And yes," She continued with a small laugh, "Those voices in the background were my current family. There are, I think 15 of us. 5 of them are actually family- a couple and their 3 kids. The rest of us left out families behind." She said then turned her head towards Amethyst, "So that's my story. What about yours?" She smiled.

message 113: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst squashed her cheeks together in surprise, "No way!! Fifteen!!" She shook her head, her eyes wide as she searched Gypsy's fave, "Wait what do you mean the woman you got it from?" She licked her lips and allowed her hands to slip down into her lap, though she gripped the edge of her dress.

"My story is relatively mundane." She blushed at the thought of it, settling back into her seat and her eyes adjusting on the screen where a scene continued, though she had no clue what was going on, "Well, I was born in Georgia where my father owned a farm. I actually have," She laughed lightly, " Ten siblings. I'm a middle child so thankfully I didn't have to help raise too many, but it was awful. Mom was always busy, taking care of the kids and just doing her mom stuff. I remember the first thing I was taught was how to work on the farm. And I did starting from age. ." She squinted her eyes as though it would help her remember, "Five, I think? Up until I was a teenager and decided I like reading and air conditioner more than dirt and corn." She laughed, "I'm kinda lame compared to you."

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments "You should join us." Gypsy blurted then smiled, a little embarrassed, knowing it was a bit rediculous. "Everyone has an interesting life, all in their own different way."

She adjusted in her seat and smiled at the idea of the hot sun pouring down from the sky and big open space to run free in. She'd never been on a farm, and had no smell to associate one with.

Gypsy continued, answering Amethyst's question, "Yes. I got my name from another person. We all did. There's no way to completely live off the grid without getting caught, so we steal identities- from dead people of course." She grumbled slightly, hoping Amethyst wouldn't be too horrified.

message 115: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "whoa. What the hell THATS the coolest thing ever." Amethyst giggles, her hands fluttering up to her cheeks as her heart fluttered in her chest, "So," she dropped her voice into a whisper though no one was around, "What's your real name? Oh my goodness, I wish I could join." She breathed out, leaning her head agains the chair and closing her eyes at the thought.

"Just imagining taking the world by storm and not really.. Worrying about expenses or life choices or anything like that. Meeting new people and loving the ones in your life." Amethyst tilted her head to the side, one of her fingers playing with her bottom lip, "That sounds beautiful." Her mind drifted from her past and Artie and all of her problems and thought about Gypsy and her family.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy was a bit surprised by Amethyst's reaction. The girl was actually open to the idea. What the hell?! How is this not a date?
She tried not to show the distress she felt, wishing Amethyst would join her. Gypsy shifted in her seat and pulled up the neck if her sweater a little, hoping Amethyst had a quality she could hate. ANYTHING. Something Gypsy could use as an excuse not to fall head over heels for this girl.

"In time, you may learn my real name. I can't exactly go around sharing that kind of information." She said and pulled down her sleeves as the theatre began to feel colder now.

message 117: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst shook her head with understanding and smiled a bit, biting down on her lower lip before turning back toward the movie, "We have time, I'm sure." She giggled lightly and wrapped her arms around her waist in order to feel warmth.

"Do you have any idea what's going on in this movie?" She tilted her head to the side and attempted to pay attention but her mind kept moving toward Gypsy - the way she smelled like soap, and the way she reacted with such - it was all pure. She didn't hide how she was feeling - she couldn't hide how she was feeling.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy crossed her arms and wiggled her hands underneath her armpits. "I have no idea..." She replied with a small chuckle, realizing only now that there was a movie playing.

Their conversation came to an end. Fortunately the movie had a fairly simple plot line. Throughout the movie, they gravitated towards one another, putting up the arm in between them and snuggled their shoulders against one another.
It was true, the way feelings showed blatantly on Gypsy's face. Even though she tried to hide it, it never worked too well.

message 119: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst couldn't help but feel the warmth radiate from Gypsy's body to hers. Throughout the movie she felt the both of them gravitate toward each other. Amongst their giggles and conversation, the arm between them was lifted and she felt herself leaning against Gypsy's arm.

"I don't understand this movie at all. What is that girl doing?" She breathed out, shaking her head with aggravation. Movies were so ridiculous, especially horror ones, it was typical that the people made all the wrong decision.

"If you're in someone else's home and then you get a creepy phone call that says 'check on of the closets?" You gonna do that? No, Absolutely not." She shivered, the idea alone annoyed her to no end. Even a person as scared as she would still know to run the other way.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments "Why are you asking me. You're the one with working eyes." Gypsy cracked up laughing in the midst of her taking a drink of her soda. She choked a little, laughing with her hand over her mouth, not to spit soda everywhere. "Who knows. I would look around. What if they hid a present for me somewhere?" She giggled.

message 121: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst gasped and couldn't help the stream of giggles fluttering from her lips, "Gypsy!" She play-slapped her arm and shook her head, "I'm pretty sure that if someone was going to give you a present they wouldn't call you up in a creepy," She cleared her throat and readied her voice into the gruffest, lowest she could make it, "Hey there, I uh, i'm a big old stranger and well, I just want you to look in the closet for a present. THat you know. I left you. Happy fucking birthday." Amethyst coughed and giggled half way through it, "Surprise, it's a bomb." She made explosion noises with her mouth and shook her head, her cheeks warm as she laughed.

______ ((I'll let you skip if you wnat c:))_____

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy cracked up laughing.
Over the next few weeks Gypsy was officially caught up on the drama between Amethyst and Artie. Sense they'd discovered that they live in the same apartments, Gypsy had come over once or twice for take out and things like that. No boundaries were made visible between them, but Gypsy had taken the understanding that Amethyst didn't seem to be open for any kind of relationship at the moment. Gypsy didn't bring it up anyway.
As far as the other gypsies went, Gypsy hadn't invited Amethyst over yet. They were hesitant to have the girl over and still saw her as a risk, not sure if she could be trusted not to tell anyone of their general existence. Gypsy had walked over to Amethyst's apartment one or twice with some of her roommates, but that's the most of encounters they'd had so far.

Artie still hadn't left Amethyst alone and now knew about her new friend. This made him even more persistent. He begged and pleaded for her to come back, doing the sad spheal he did.

message 123: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst sat next to Gypsy, "Hey, you should spend the night tonight, we could order a pizza and rent movies on the tv." She shrugged and than stared down at her phone, which buzzed in her lap. Artie's number flashed upon her screen and she breathed out heavily, "Gypsy it's him again." She whined, flailing across the girl's lap as though they'd known eachother for their entire lives. That's how the last couple of weeks had been for them.

"I'm gonna take it, I'll be right back." She smacked a small kiss on the girl's cheek and moved into her bedroom.

"Artie, why do you keep calling me?" Tears pooled into her eyes though she truly hadn't even started talking yet.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments "I SWEAR I'VE BEEN CA-!" Artie was on the other side, shouting at his friends. He'd been calling Amethyst at least every 4 hours.

Gypsy gestured her beer in the air as Amethyst walked off. She relaxed back in the sofa, having almost forgotten what it was like to live with less than 5 people. She didn't say anything about Amethyst's older relationship, or anything about the boy for that matter. She was a bit curious what he was like though; a douche, given, but still...

Artie shut up when he heard her one the other side of the phone. He paced around the livingroom in his apartment with his friends sitting around. "Amethyst! You picked up. Hey." He pulled his fingers through him hair.

message 125: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "You're kinda hard to ignore when you call my phone almost every hour." Amethyst snapped, but breathed out, biting down on her lower lip and releasing it almost instantly, "I just, Artie, what do you want?" She felt herself crumbling - it was hard for her to get out of the relationship to begin with. And now it was even harder to escape him, but maybe she was overexaggering. Maybe he had changed, maybe he would change? Maybe in some way she could help him change? The thought was crippling, dangerous, but valid none the less.

She thought about how her night with Gypsy would be - how much she wanted to throw the phone away and just drink. Drink until she felt woozy.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments "You know what I want." Artie replied. He listened to her silence, knowing exactly the way she bit on her lower lip when things tended to overwhelm her or she fell into deep thought. He was playing the night guy at the moment, but these little characters he played didn't tend to last long. Eventually he would find his way around to a new drug, or reunite with an old one, and go around in a full circle.
Sober. Buyer. Junky. Tweaker. Seller. Cheater. Then around again.
He waited patiently for a moment then spoke again, "I don't think you want to get rid of me yet." He said, "Eventually, something will likely happen, then yes, we'll never look at each other again. But you know now is not the time. I haven't seen you in weeks. I'm miserable. You know I'm trying to get clean."
His friends muffled their laughs. Artie quickly went into his bedroom where their conversation was private.

message 127: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst couldn't help, the tears spilled from her eyes as she brushed a hand through her long hair, "Artie, I can't play these games. I - I don't do drugs. I don't want to be around them. You know that." She attempted to brush the tears around, but they kept replacing themselves as she paced over toward the window and glanced out of the curtain.

"You and I both know we aren't meant for eachother," She whispred, clutching an arm around her waist as she listened to the fading voices from his end of the phone. Was he truly miserable? She thought back to when she found him passed out in his apartment, the entire place smelling of hard drugs and multiple others trailing around the place. He knew she wanted nothing to do with that.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Artie rolled his eyes and rubbed his face, knowing she was emotional now. Having her make decisions now was likely going to be a lot more difficult. "Amethyst. Baby." He tried his best to sound enthusiasts, even though his tone was a little pushy. "I'm trying to get away from them too. But how am I supposed to do it without you?"

Gypsy bristled, feeling weird as the aura around her changed. She felt the need to go get Amethyst, but she didn't know her way around the apartment and didn't want to get lost. She could vaguely hear Amethyst in the other room and concluded that she was crying.
Her mind was quickly altered and she no longer had the urge to be with her.
Gypsy was not the sort of confirm others. She felt she only made things worse; expressing sympothy felt very off to her. She knew she was different than most people. The way she perceived things was so different from other people's it was often hard for her to relate at all.

message 129: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst breathed out, but her heart melted, and quite frankly her limbs felt like goo. She fell silent for a moment her mind swirling as she placed a finger on her bottom lip.
"Let's just take things slow. I'll think about it, okay?" Amethyst finally concluded, never had she had someone beg for her as Artie did, never had she felt so needed.

She bit down on her lip and finally got the courage to simply hang up the phone. She wiped away the tears from her cheeks and made her way back to the couch. Immediately, she plopped down and laid her head in Gypsy's lap, closing her eyes and breathing out.
"I wonder what it's like to be on another planet." she whispered solemnly.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy was slightly startled by the suddenly flopping around and the head in her lap. She'd expected Amethyst to cry when she walked back in. Slowly she moved her arms and cupped her hand gently over Amethyst's ear like she would a child.
"It's not always very pleasant." Gypsy answered truthfully with a small nod. She sometimes felt that she lived on another planet than everyone else. Of course she knew the actuality of being in such a position would likely be a lot worse than her own perception- she still felt distant most of the time.
Her fingers smoothed across Amethyst's face and carefully wiped the rest of the tears from under her eyes. "I think we should get Chinese AND pizza. That pizza place that actually delivers beer? Yeah..." She continued to slip off her shoes, knowing now that they would be there for a while.

message 131: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst sniffled and shook her head, "Sometimes I feel like it would be lovely. To discover something new." She closed her eyes for a moment, Gypsy's fingertips brushing against her face. She breathed out and bit down in her lip, her heart fluttering at the way her skin felt against her cheek. The world seemed to disappear for a moment, just briefly as she just felt.

"That sounds absolutely lovely. Chinese and pizza and beer." She giggled and opened her eyes to adjust them on Gypsy's face. She'd discovered the contacts were fake - but she loved Gypsy's eyes the way that they were.

Amethyst twisted toward her and slipped her arms around the girl's waist.
"What are you thinking? Funny, horror, or romance? Or sad drama?" She snuggled up against Gypsy. Amethyst was aware that they hadn't been friends for long, but she wasn't one for personal space.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy wrapped her arms around Amethyst's head as they adjusted. "I don't get funny movies most of the time. Though I do like some dark humor." Gypsy rambled for a moment about all the movies available when they finally decided on something from Netflix.

After the tv was prepared, they called into both places, ordering their food. Gypsy herself wasn't much of a drinker. Excessive alcohol made her physically unstable and numb; this really bothered her so she never drank more than one beer or anything of that equivalent.
She'd been informed of Artie's substance abuse and didn't understand it was all. She'd smoked pot once and almost had a total panic attack. It was hard enough being sober in a world like hers, how would stumbling around feeling her body give way be any better?

message 133: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "Yeaaah, humor isn't the best." Amethyst agreed, shaking her head and closing her eyes as she breathed in once more before they adjusted themselves for their night in, "Do you need to go grab clothes? Or hey you could borrow some of my pjs. Or not wear anything at all, I don't care." Amethyst pinched her side playfully and winked, though she knew Gypsy couldn't see her.

"I wonder why," She scooted over on the edge of the couch and grabbed the remote, "...why people do drugs. Have you ever done drugs? Like I don't mind if you have. I haven't, I think my parents scared the shit out of me when I was younger. That I would like die by it."

Amethyst shivered and scrunched up her face at the thought of it.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments "No, not really." Gypsy replied. "I smoked pot once- if you can even say that. It hurt my throat and the back of my neck felt really harm. I felt very uncomfortable though. I don't want to do it again." She slowly pulled her knees to her chest. The event was almost traumatic to her.
"I got drunk once too. Like, really drunk. It was humiliating. I couldn't even stand up right." She said.

Slowly she came to laugh lightly about what Amethyst had said. 'Or not wear anything at all?' Are you serious? You're an asshole you know that. Why can't you be gay? She sighed internally, her inner grumbling showed on her face.
"I can sleep in these clothes." She said, "I am just wearing sweatpants after all." She reached out and grabbed the cloth of her pants.
She didn't feel the need to ask if Amethyst had done any drugs; it seemed pretty obvious that she doesn't. It all seemed to be a very touchy subject anyway with Artie and whatnot.

message 135: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst leaned over and placed a hand on the girl's arm, seeing how she curled up at the mention of drugs. She understood though - drugs were a touchy subject for even someone like her.
"Whatever you want babes." She shrugged and flicked through Netflix, "I'm sorry about your experience though. Like, I think marijuana is okay to do, statistically, but then you get all these other factors in. I don't know. To be completely honest," Amethyst leaned back against the couch and tilted her head toward Gypsy, watching her with big eyes, "I've never even been drunk before. I've pretended before, I guess, but never been drunk." She shrugged, "Sometimes I feel a little ridiculous about it. Like I'm too innocent or whatever, Artie used to make fun of me for it. But I don't mind." She sighed right as the doorbell rang, instantly she grabbed the money from the counter and jumped up and over to the door.

A few moments later she was back with a six pack of beer and a pizza.

"pizza got here first!"

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy put her feet back on the floor and leaned forward with her elbows on her knees. She was somewhat surprised by Amethyst's innocence. She didn't say anything though, knowing it would be rude of her.

After taking a beer and a slice of pizza from the coffee table when Amethyst got back, she leaned back on the couch and kicked her feet up. "It's different for everyone." She said in regards of being intoxicated. She didn't want to scare Amethyst of these things any more than Artie already had. She again tried to avoid any conversation about Artie, but at this point, all she wanted to do was talk shit about the dude.

After her first bite of pizza, Gypsy was stricken was a look of complete horror. She chewed slowly then swollen the bite. "What was that?"
They'd ordered a Hawaiian pizza sense Gypsy had never had it before. Her first bite contained a large chunk of pineapple which she'd never expected. The look on her face was hilarious to say the least.

message 137: by Em (Hannah) (new)

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst shook her head, "You're right, you're right. That's understandable, I suppose it is different for everyone." She shrugged and plopped down next to Gypsy, taking a gulp of her beer before even looking at the pizza. Regardless of her hunger, she waited a moment and watched Gypsy take her first bite, unable to hold back the howl of laughter that followed.

"What? Did you not expect the pineapple?" She giggled and clutched her stomach, sliding the beer onto the table in fear of spilling it, "Your face is priceless!" She whispered through her laughter, covering her face with her hand before the doorbell rang once again.

After coming back with the Chinese, she studied Gypsy, "So, uh, is that your favorite pizza now?" She teased, taking another gulp of the beer and butterflies began to play in her stomach. She knew she wasn't tipsy, but she also knew she wasn't far from it which was fairly ridiculous. She thought about her conversation with Artie and wondered if he would leave her alone - she doubted it. In this state though, all she wanted to do was feel a kiss again. The skin on skin contact - the being cared for, that's what she missed. She snapped herself out of the thoughts though and plopped down on the couch.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy slowly slipped onto the floor and reached out, touching the coffee table in front of her with her legs crisscrossed after setting her things on its surface. "I don't know how I feel about it." Gypsy gave a small laugh as well.

Her hand came to a halt when contacting the pizza box. She made sure not to knock anything over. In her own home she was fairly careless. Any mess she made would be blamed on someone else. Yeah, I spilled it over. But who left their drink out? You! Yeah. I'm blind. Remember?! Despite her seeming perception of oblivion, Gypsy tried her best not to make messes; things like leaving her cup around, or leaving messy laundry on the floor.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "Yeaaah, by the looks of you, this is definitely your favorite pizza." Amethyst giggled and finished her beer, licking her bottom lip.

"Can you promise me something, Gypsy?" She slid down next to the girl and tilted her head to the side as she popped the lid off of another beer, "That no matter what happens, don't let me do anything stupid tonight." She sipped at it and wished that she had a fruity drink instead, one that made her stomach feel nice and herself all giggly.

"She pulled one of the cups of noodles into her lap and yelped with glee, "Yay, I'm so happy about these." She giggled and shook her head, shoving a spoonful into her mouth.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments With Amethyst's warning, Gypsy promptly forgot about her beer and prepared for standby. "Could you take me to the bathroom?"

Though she really didn't have to use the toilet, she may as well memorize where it was for the last time now anyway. That- and she had a phone call to make. Gypsy could handle drunk, but NOT alone.
Going through the files in her head, Evan (your guy) was her best option. Though they didn't always get along, she felt that he was trustworthy and a nice helping hand when in need. If the time came that she couldn't help Amethyst, he would be second in line.

She stood and brushed herself off a little bit, wishing to make her call in private then get back to shoving food in her face. Maybe the pineapple pizza would grow on her. It wasn't that bad.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "Yeah, absolutely." Amethyst shrugged and pulled jumped up, grasping Gypsy's hand and moving toward the hall that lead to the master bedroom. She didn't need a massive apartment, didn't even need the extra room, but she had gotten it because of the price, and unfortunately when Artie and her dated the room was occupied by plenty of random strangers. It took her days to get the smell out of it.

"Toilet paper is right here, and the sink is here," She reached out and pressed Gypsy's palm to each of the items before slipping out and back into the living room

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy closed the door behind her. Thanks. She thought to herself in a sarcastic tone.
Once sure Amethyst was back in the livingroom, she whipped out her phone and called Evan on speed dial. She intended to inform that he may be needed later.

She shuffled her feet for a moment then sat down on the toilet seat. She'd tried not to give her fellow gypsies too much information on Amethyst. Being so tight-knit, when I new person was introduced, they could be a bit pushy. Gypsy felt greed when it came to Amethyst- she didn't want the others to push the girl away.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Evan shoved a hand through his hair with frustration, gripping the middle of his pencil as he stared down at the blank piece of paper.
"God, how am I going to get through this semester." He eyed his video game system longingly, and shook his head. No. This paper has to get written. But he longed for an escape, an out to the paper - then his phone began to ring. He looked down at the number and squinted, furrowing his eyebrows as he quickly put it to his ear.

"Gypsy?" He said into the speaker, wondering why she was calling him at such a time and hoping the girl was okay. They weren't by any standards the best of friends, but she told him about her recent quests.

Amethyst stared at the pause screen on the television, continuing to stuff her face, but she chewed slowly, wondering if Gypsy was okay. She knew she wasn't a fan of getting drunk, maybe she shouldn't either - maybe it would be too much of a burden for her. Was she being inconsiderate? Amethyst shook her head and rolled her eyes - she was overthinking. It's not like she would even get that drunk anyways.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments "Who else would be calling you on my phone, bummy? Of course it's me." Gypsy said rudely the moment after Evan said her name. The sound of concern in his voice bothered her. For some reason, she felt that every word he said towards her was belittling.
"I'm fine. At Amethyst's. I need you on standby. She's drinking, which isn't really a problem, but, you know. If she starts puking- Or needs to go to bed-" She said and rubbed her face just at the thought. She was a sympothetic puker, and finding her way around the apartment was still like a maze.
She kept her voice low so Amethyst couldn't hear.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Evan breathed out, "You know I have a big paper to write.." He shook his head and rolled his eyes, "Look, Just make sure she drinks a lot of water and don't let her drink too much in an empty stomach. You like her right? Just kiss her and out her to bed, geez." He plopped down on a chair and rubbed his face.

"Did you fall in?" Amethyst giggled and continued on with her third beer, closing her eyes as the butterflies swarmed in her stomach. She just wanted to dance, to laugh, to have passion.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy rubbed her head, hearing Evan in one ear and Amethyst in the other.
"Just a moment. Putting drops in my eyes." She called to Amethyst, saying the first excuse she could think of. Though this wasn't a very good excuse- she blinked just fine and her eyes rarely dried, but Amethyst was drunk, and if she doubted Gypsy's excuse, then things would start being thrown, because that would simply be ridiculous.

She covered her mouth over the speaker and whispered, "She's a little late for experimenting at this point. Smashing tacos will only make her confused then IGNORE me. I don't think she's even over her ex boyfriend." She began to ramble quickly, "Why the hell are you in school anyway? You're never gonna keep a job for more than a year-" She could have gone on and on, but stopped herself, knowing she needed to get back pretty soon.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments "Hey!! You don't know that. Not to mention, amethyst is cool. I doubt she would ignore you... But seriously, I'm in for game design. This one is going to stick! Get back to your girlfriend!" Evan rolled his eyes and chuckled, lingering on the phone for a moment before clicking off. He knew calling her her girlfriend would set something off but he couldn't help it.

Amethyst finished her third bottle and tilted her head to the side, wondering what life was and why she wasn't in a relationship. She missed it. She couldn't help but think about Gypsy and the way they met - their kisses and dancing. A blush formed on her cheeks as her fingers made their way up to her lips, stroking them longingly.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy flipped her phone shut promptly and walked out. She stood in the doorway of the bathroom with her hands on either side of the doorway. "Hey, I'm sorry about that."
She slowly began to shuffle down the hall unsurely with her fingertips brushing the halls.

Once at the end of the hall, she let her hands down and stood very still. She'd dismissed her conversation with Evan quickly and focused on her current situation. Girlfriend. Really? That peace-a-shit. I'm gonna kick his ass. She continued to cuss internally till she was broach back to tranquility and rubbed her head, "Amethyst." She said.

Em (Hannah) (hannahtester96) | 1027 comments Amethyst's mind was out in space, her eyes locked on a vase beside her television. The world seemed precious while under the influence. Artie didn't seem so bad. And Gypsy was simply amplified. She pulled out her phone, giggled, and sent Artie a tipsy quick text: "you maesin all de fun" before being snapped back to reality by Gypsy.

"Gyyypsy!" She called out in a sing-song voice, picking herself up lazily and becoming off balance. She couldn't help the stream of giggles from her lips as she caught herself, rolling her eyes as the blood ran to her face, "I feel so heavy. So good, Gypsy. I just want to dance!" She twirled around and opened her arms as far as she could without knocking into anything.

§†êl͓̽l͓̽åꝈนຖå (fallaciousgod) | 2208 comments Gypsy stood very still, hearing Amethyst's feet against the floor. "I'm gonna leave you to that. Do you have any water or lemon juice?" She said, shifting to the side till her hand brushed the wall. Slowly she followed the wall to the counter bar and felt the flat surface.

Her mind linger with slow shallow waves, bringing all the possibilities. She remembered someone telling her that lemon juice helps speed up digestion- and Amethyst needed to be drinking water anyway. That would sober her up.
She could them imagine one of the worse outcomes. One moment, Amethyst is doing whatever, then SPLAT! That horrible smell of vomit. Then the rest of the night is spent, sitting on the edge of the bath while keeping Amethyst's hair back while Evan bitches about school while she tries not to puke herself from the smell.
And then... No. Evan couldn't be more wrong. Drunk sex is best seen as wrong sex. Who knows how Amethyst would feel about it the next morning....
