You just did Linda! No worries you are safe.
I have been asked by my fellow Mods to clean out the closet...And so I am.

Have to be honest, others can tell me if they notice the same....but when I check my notifications on this site, I get more from this group than from any other, except maybe 2015 The Year of Reading Women--and that's due surely to the volume of writers included in that group.Maybe more forums on books? Some people are more into the books than all the "fun stuff". Just a thought...
I think the whole point of cleaning out the closet, is members who have belonged to the group almost a year and have never made a post or comment. However, you see them everyday lurking to see whatever everyone else posted. Either get involved when you can or get the heck out, in my opinion.

Will we get the graphic details of the executions? Please?
Robert wrote: "I think the whole point of cleaning out the closet, is members who have belonged to the group almost a year and have never made a post or comment. However, you see them everyday lurking to see what..."I agree Robert.
Robert is right on the concept...We would just like to clean out the lurkers only! We don't expect our members to be here every day, but at least once in a while within the year...or why be here?
I will stave my blade untill sunday if that's good with my fellow MODs to participate or...OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!
Linda and Holly...No problem

In my other group Monsters, Murderers and Maniacs we have executed 82 members since March. Our goal is to not have any members who have never made a post or comment in the group. We now only have 60 members, but everyone participates and it makes it a lot more interesting for everyone. Bigger is not always better in our opinion.

Dawn, your not a lurker. You have made 34 comments and are considered an active member. Only those with zero comments or posts are considered lurkers. You know, those people who hide in the shadows and feed off of other peoples comments for their entertainment. Like voyeurs, window peepers and creepy introverts that stare through keyholes.

My sentiments exactly, Robert.

"voyeurs, window peepers and creepy introverts that stare through keyholes."That would make a good title for an anthology about same!

or job ad for some of the temp jobs I've held in my lifetime...

Ouch! I hope you've found better work since then.
Haha, they were temp jobs to work my way through grad school. Yes, somewhat! Though, sadly, there are some creepers even where I am now, one of whom just finagled tenure in my dept. Ayayay...
Did you know the female singer Blondie back in the 80's who sang the song "One way or another' wrote that song about a stalker? It was an ex-boyfriend she had dumped and he began stalking her, saying he was "going to get her one way or another."
Did not know that...that goes under "general chit chat as long as it's creepy". Or maybe another discussion thread! "Creepy song lyrics"!
I should have added you in the "grinning like mad" Robert! I can see you more as a masked executioner tho! lol

To kneel before me and offer your head is not in the cards for you my dear!
As of right now we have 792 members...I see that Kathy and Aileen are frothing at the mouth ...lol Their blood thirsty appetite is making my blade and I hungry enough to start now!

The carnage begins as my trusty ax whistles through the air in a final death stroke.
Nine heads have now rolled from my block leaving nothing but a trail of blood leading to their gnarled stumps!
Their headless bodies writhe in a finale of jerks and squirts. I run my finger along the blade and taste the sweet nectar of death to the stalkers and still...We are hungry for more!

Like in life they chose to remain silent. Now they are silenced for eternity. Their rotting, headless corpses not even able an utterance of "forgive me!"
"now sated temporarily from the blood lust, the group stands together smiling at the bodies scattered across the floor"...
This is more interesting to read than some books on my shelf!
I must say you guys are all right! This is not only fun, but inspiring!
Good morning Aaron...join in the revelry that is BLOODFEST 2015!

Maybe we can use these rotting corpses for a bowling ally. Cut off the legs at the knees and stand them up. Put your two fingers in the hollow eye sockets and thumb in the decayed nose cavity of the heads, and roll away. Oh crap, I got a seven ten split! Lol
This morning is fraught with the delicacy that is death as the tell tail cries of despair invite my ax, Elvira and I to our breakfast.
I walk across the wooden planks of the gallows...The hangman's noose removed, I stand behind my blood soaked block and eye the gathering crowd.
Aileen and Kathy have placed themselves directly in front of the block. They smile madly and hold empty chalices out toward me in hopes of filling it with the last remnants of my victims liquid life.
The crack of a whip sounds and the shackles and chains rattle as Robert herds the future dead to the stage.
The homicidal crowd begins to drool...Cheers resound as the first sacrifice is brought to her knees I, myself must wipe my chin as my hunger grows.
My arms flex as Elvira is raised high in the sky. With one quick downward stroke she easily slices through flesh and bone. Her head rolls to the end of the stage and flops to the ground where toothless and grimly looking children giggle. They kick her head back and forth in a gruesome game of soccer.

15 more heads now lay at my feet. I raise Elvira in the air and rejoice with the crowd as the bulging eyes of the dead now become their feast.
Some are carried away in baskets while others are devoured where they dropped.
Aileen and Kathy now gulp from their full chalice's. Blood drips from their mouths in grotesque, sticky tendrils.
Elvira hums in my hand and I know she is still hungry...and so we hunt again!

KC, you're giving Robert a run for his money!
KC is a bit more poetically skilled with words than I. That's the difference between a writer and a story teller.

Thank you sweetie...I would love to collaborate with Robert someday! I think a writer and a story teller would make an awesome pair.
Robert...my hat's off to you. At least your work is out there to be read and mine is still not.
