I read this book a few years back and the characters I can recall are a white girl who died because of cancer, a boy (who ends up being her love interest) died because he was shot, a Middle Eastern girl who trained as a solider, a japanese girl who was at first timid but then ended up being the villain of the story and lastly a boy who ends up finding his long lost father in the strange world that is also filled with aliens of some sort. pls help and thank you so much xx
