Nick let out a breath stopping his movement of rubbing her back. Letting out a breath. "I don't know, what all you've seen sense starting to train with Blake, but I don't remember our past lives. I never even knew about them until you told me. And I know that I can't make up for the things I've done in our past lives, either. But I do know, that I can try and make this one last a life time, or two better then the ones you've seen." He told her.

"I know you don't remember any of that Nick." She whispered. "It's just that this feeling of you snapping scares me because you turn into this heartless person and your not that. I don't know all of my past lives, but I do know a lot has happened to me and when I first saw you, you did something to me and I don't care what it was that was opened up. The feelings you give me all the time is something that I love so much. " She whispered softly flipping around. "Nick everyday you make my life better, please know that."

Nick breathed in her shampoo when she flipped over getting a sent of it. But also listening to her as she spoke. Thinking how to respond to that all for a moment. "I'll remember that, always. And I will try my best, to not to ever become that person... the one you've seen me become in our past lives." He told her softly resting his chin on top of her head.



Grace went outside and then into the forest. She needed help. And seeing as Justin wouldn't help her with this she needed someone else. Someone that would believe her, when she told them that Eva wasn't in the pack for the safety or even the family feel of it. Nor was she in it for any other reason one might think someone had joined the pack. She was in it for her own gain. To get to Will by giving him Wolvesbane. And then making him do what she had made her brother do. Swallowing as she thought. She could go to Raven about this. But she was caring for Justin, Will's nephew. And she didn't want to risk going there and bringing any harm to him. Or even Raven for that matter. And the other packs she knew of would turn her down. So that left only one choose. Taking in a breath before letting it out and shifting. Already starting to run towards where she knew she had to go. The one place she shouldn't go at a time like this. But she saw no other way around it, and she needed the help. To ask Ruby and Nick for help.

Ruby smiled softly and closed her eyes. "I love you Nick." She whispered as she fell asleep. The next day quickly came as the sun was poking through the windows. She was very comfortable in Nick's arms. "Good morning." She whispered softly.

Grace had made it as far as the woods but seeing as it was so late she had voted for spending the night in her wolf form and going to them once the day had started. Waking as the sun filtered in through the tree tops. Stretching out her legs, then shifting back to stretch some unused musicals from last night.



Nick smiled as he woke, feeling Ruby in his arms. "Good morning, how'd you sleep?" He asked, adjusting so that they were both more comfortable.

Ruby yawned a bit smiling softly and looked up at Nick and giggled some. "I slept wonderfully." She smiled again. "How about you?" she asked. "For some reason I feel like we are going to be having an unexpected visitor today."

"I slept amazingly. Best night of sleep I've gotten in a while, in fact. Humm, wonder who it's going to be..." He said giving it some thought. Everyone that just showed up sometimes and they didn't usually see where people they didn't like. Her sisters, some relative or something. Or just people that were vampires but they didn't care for them. So hopefully this unexpected visitor was someone they actually did like.


Grace sighed, as she shook herself awake. Walking out of the woods and heading down the street. Breakfast first. Then go ask for help she had decided seeing as her stomach had started to growl at her.

Ruby moved away from him a little bit. "That's good." She whispered softly. A pit in her stomach started to grow some. "I'm going to get breakfast going so we will be ready to go before the guess is comes here. She looked at Blake in the kitchen already. "Someone is coming today." Ruby said softly feeling a little sick, but shook it off as nothing because she did travel last night to the past so that probably through her off. "Blake you sure I'm not pregnant?" She just wanted to make sure.

Blake had already started on breakfast while they'd been asleep. Looking over when she'd come in. "Well, you did have me read you right after it-- but I was sure then. Although that doesn't mean that something has changed sense then, would you like me to check again after we eat?" He offered seeing her look. "Although then again, we did do a bit more traveling last night then past nights that you've trained, sometimes traveling so much like we did can also mess with one's stomach area. But I will check just to be safe if you like."


Nick smiled stealing a kiss on her cheek before stretching and then standing up. To go get Avery up, and ready for breakfast. It was a weekend so Avery didn't have school that day, so they had time.

Ruby looked up at him softly and nodded her head. "Please check again. Just to be safe." Even though it was possible that travelling was the cause of this. "Check me now please." She inisited she didn't know why she was so nervous. The Elders wouldn't let her get pregnant again now would they?

Avery was still asleep in her bed with her stuff elephant at hand. She looked adorable as any sleeping child would

Blake nodded, rounding to stand in front of her. Then placing a hand on her belly to be better able to sense it. Closing his eyes and focusing all his attention on her and the task at hand. Pulling it back a few minutes later shaking his head. "No, your not.. it was slightly more difficult for me to tell, because of the mix of engerys going through you along with the traveling. But no. Your not pregnant." He told her removing his hand and starting to head back to flip the eggs.



Nick smiled to himself as he cracked open the door to his little girls room and saw her still asleep. Watching her sleep for a few moments before opening the door and walking in to wake her.


Grace had reached the little cafe down the street. Walking in and ordering a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Had she still been at The Pack House she would be helping fix breakfast for everyone and then enjoying it with everyone. Well maybe 'enjoying' was the wrong word. Seeing as she hadn't really been enjoying much these past few weeks. Taking the tray and going and sitting down at a table in one of the corners.

Ruby nodded here head slowly. "Okay." she said softly she looked down a little despite everything she was a little disappointed. There was a big part of her that wanted to have another baby. It was true that she had this feeling that this sickness was more that it was morning sickness, but he said it was nothing. Besides they weren't ready for kids anyway. "It's a good thing I'm not pregnant with everything going on." She said with a fake smile.

Avery smiled in her sleep she stirred a little bit, but not waking up. She curled into the covers of her bed.

Blake looked over, when he returned to the stove. Flipping them over and then pushed the toast down. "Yeah it is... considering as if this really does fall through things will become--- strained. To say the least. And you don't want to be having a child in that." He said starting to plate stuff up. Although he still sent a hint of disappointment.



Nick couldn't help but think she looked so much like her mother in that moment. Ruby smiled in her sleep, and it seemed as though that had been passed down to their daughter. Going over to the side of the bed. "Princess, time to wake up sweetie." He told her.

Ruby closed her eyes softly she could feel a rush of sickness coming through her body. "Yeah its good because Nick and I agree we don't want kids yet. I think travelling took a tole." Ruby looked over at Blake. "Your not telling me something what happened in that last life that is making me feel this way?" She looked over at him she held on to the bar stole. "The reason I'm feeling this way is connected to the last life I saw." She closed her eyes tightly and hissed. "In that life you changed me because I almost died giving birth and I lost the baby and because we went back so quickly I'm having after shocks of it." She snapped. "How come you down played it as if it was nothing?"

Avery stirred a little bit and frowned not wanting to open her eyes. She wanted to sleep. "Me tired." She whispered tiredly.

"Because, I thought it was the best thing to do, you'd already seen so much. Even though there was only a hand full that I showed you. And I knew that alone, the things you'd see in them, would take it's own kind of tole on you. I didn't want to tell you anything more and have that wear on you as well." He explained. Starting to carry the plates to the table.



Nick frowned, slightly. Maybe she hadn't slept well, reaching out and resting a hand on her forehead. She did feel warm but that could just be because of how many covers she had over her. "Sweetie, do you feel bad?"

Grace finished her sandwich a lot faster then she did her coffee. Wanting to enjoy it slightly no matter how little it was. And also she wanted to give them time to have their own breakfast before she went knocking on their door. Dumping the wrapper in the trash can, then going back and finishing her coffee.

Ruby looked up at him and shook her head and sighed. She sat down on the floor and curled into a ball. "Well, its affecting me majorly and I just want it stop." She hissed softly. "Please Blake make it stop. Why is this happening?"

Avery sniffled a little bit. "No me just tired." She said her voice was horse and her mouth still hurt.

Blake frowned slightly, going over once the plates where all on the table and kneeling down in front of her. Resting a hand on her forehead and constrating. Then took it away again knowing it would stop in a moment. "It'll stop in a moment or two,-- I think it's best to wait to try and travel like that again.. It's sometimes a side effect of traveling. You'll still be slightly wore out but not as much as you would be and hurting otherwise. I've taken the pain away, so you should be okay." He told her.



Nick's frown deepened. "Alright, princess.. daddy will come check on you in a little while." He told her, moving her hair off her face and to the side.

Ruby nodded her head a little bit and as the pain started to go a way. She felt a lot better then she did a few moments earlier she pushed herself. She pushed herself up with her knees. "Thanks," She whispered feeling her energy drain. "Is there any fresh coffee?"

Avery looked up at Nick sickly. "Me can sleep?" She asked softly looking up at her father. "Auntie Grace is coming to visit today. Me want to better so me can say hi."

Blake nodded as she asked about coffee. "Just put on a fresh pot while you two were waking up. Should be done by now." He told her, going to get his own cup out so that he could fill it. Pulling one down for her as well and offering it to her.



"Yes, sweetie, you can sleep." He told her softly as he knelled back down to her level. Grace was coming today? For what? Was that who Ruby was sensing would be their unexpected visitor? It could be.. not saying anything about it to Avery though. "Okay, if your not though I'll let her know to come up and say hi before she leaves."

Ruby smiled softly talking the cup of coffee. She sat on the chair started to drink a little bit. "Thanks." She whispered. "So how exactly does the blood ceremony go Blake? I know the council and the Elders will be there, but other than that I only heard rumors." She wanted to be prepare much as possible.

Avery smiled a little bit. "Ellie wants some peanuts can she have some peanuts daddy?" Her eyes closed softly as she started to fall back to sleep.

Blake nodded, trying to come up with how much he could tell her without getting in trouble himself. Deciding the littlest bit would be okay. That would be safe. "The Council and The Elders will be there, and you are allowed to bring a couple of your close friends of family with you for support. Many think it's the whole vampire race is welcomed to come and see. But they aren't. Only the one's who are given scrit permission form the ruling couple themselves are allowed. Usually they used to pick bigger towns, whip out the city, to take it for themselves. But that's changed, we tend to pick smaller areas now, not as many questions. The rest you know.."



Nick smiled as he saw her fall back to sleep, walking out and leaving the door cracked a little bit so that if she needed anything she could yell and they'd hear her. Heading down stairs to meet them for breakfast.

"Let me guess you can only tell me so much about it." Ruby said softly. "It's okay, I understand. Do you think they know that we are ready for the Blood Ceremony do I have to say something?" She asked. "I just want to get it down and over with. That's if I'm still the ruling couple I was suppose to go last night to the trial, but we were in a different time period. Which the Elders already know." She took a sip of coffee. She didn't realize the trial was the different time period itself. Her phone buzz it was the council. She quickly picked it up. "Hello." Ruby asked and she frowned as there was no one was saying anything the only thing she heard was a strange sound that was memorizing. She didn't want to stop listening to the sound, but knew that she must let Nick listen to it. "Nick the council wants to talk to you." The sound was meant to prep them both for the blood ceremony which could happen anytime, since Nick let go he would be able to hear the sound. When they heard this sound next the blood ceremony would begin.

Nick walked in taking the phone from her. "Hello.." Hearing a low buzzing like sound on the other end. Almost finding it memorizing. Waiting a few moments before it stopped and he hung up seeing as no one had come on to say anything to him. Setting the phone down on the counter. "Avery's still asleep, she's not feeling well.. I'll go back up in a while and check on her." He told them and he went and got himself a cup of coffee then came back and sat down next to Ruby.


Blake nodded, having heard the sound from where he stood. She was. Seeing as no one had informed him otherwise, so she and Nick were still the ruling couple. And the job had not been handed to her sister. Answering her question before he commented on Nicks news. "No, neither of you will be expected to say anything. ---- Is she sick?"

Ruby didn't even remember hearing the sound or handing the phone to Nick. "Nick sometimes when children get their fangs they get really sick. Because their bodies will start craving blood and since they haven't been use to blood their bodies fight it." She said softly. "I know for sure I did and my Rose and Chase did too. It shouldn't be nothing to worry about." Ruby said reassuringly to him. "Okay Blake do you know when they will notify us?"

Nick nodded, he didn't have that as a child. Seeing as he had been made no not born one. But it would only make sense that they wouldn't feel well when they did. Just like most human children didn't feel good while they were getting their teeth. "Okay, I'll still keep an eye on her.. make sure that's what it really is and she hasn't started coming down with something." He told her then started eating his breakfast.



Blake had started eating his own, while the two of them talked about why Avery might not feeling well. Turning back to her when they were done and she asked another question. "Soon, I would expect." Not wanting to say any more. Anything more and he'd be giving too much away.

Ruby looked up at him and smiled. "Is something bothering you Nick?" She asked softly. "Avery's going to be fine. Everything is perfect." she pecked his cheek. "Today's going to be a great day. We will have some good quality family time even if she is sick." Ruby said with a smile.

Nick hadn't said anything to them about Avery saying that Grace was coming. Not wanting them to worry just in case she was wrong and it was someone else. Shaking his head, no. "No, love.. nothings wrong. I was just lost for a moment." He told her leaning over and kissing her check.


Blake didn't say anything wanting them to have their moment. As he finished up his own breakfast and put the dish in the sink returning to finish up his coffee.

Ruby blushed taking a bite of her breakfast and looking over at Nick and giggled. She was really happy. "I haven't heard anything from the council so that's good." She finished off her breakfast. "I hope that unexpected visitor comes soon. I just want to relax with the most wonderful man in the whole world. I'm glad I get to call him mine." she whispered.

Nick smiled softly, seeing her blush. Finishing off his own breakfast and going and putting it in the sink then coming back. "I'm sure they will.. that's sounds good, maybe we can have a little us time, sense Avery's asleep upstairs." He whispered, in her ear as he came back and wrapped his arms around her waist.


Blake had left the room in favor of going to the living room and leaving them to it, picking a book and starting on it as he finished up that coffee.


Grace had hung around the cafe for a good hour. Before starting out again not wanting to rush things just in case they had slept late or were having a late breakfast. But had made it back to their house and now stood on the doorstep. Trying to decide if this was the best coarse of action. If Will found out she had gone to them for help about Eva-- would he just kick her out of the pack? Depist the fact that she was his mate and Female Alpha? Would he take Eva as his new one if he did? But if she didn't, do this then she was putting the whole pack in danger... and werewolves were already starting to attack each other by what Justin had told her. Taking a deep breath and ringing the doorbell hoping this wasn't about to be the biggest mistake of her life.

Ruby looked up at him and shivered a little bit. "I would love that." She whispered softly. "Just you and I." Right now she felt so relaxed. She started to close the gap between them and kissed him then pulled away quickly as she heard the doorbell ringing and sighed. "Us time is going to have to wait." She walked to the door and opened it seeing Grace there. "You have 5 minutes to explain why you are here before I put you in a prison cell." She hissed

Grace took a deep breath. Something told her this had been a mistake. But they were the only ones that she had left to turn to about this. "I need your help." She said pleading and hoping that this turned out well and that they would agree. If not, she'd be in a prison cell with no way to get out.


Nick came up behind her when he heard Grace at the door. So Avery had been right. Along with Ruby. Although Avery had hit it spot on. Clearing his throat, "Maybe you should come in...."

"Nick?" Ruby turned to him and shook her head. "No she is our enemy her mate started this war. Why should we even help her?" Ruby asked slightly confused. "Fine come in, but you better explain why you need our help now or I will throw you in the cell with a snap of my fingers." She snapped.

Grace didn't doubt that she would. Seeing as she had no reason that they knew of to come asking for help when they had called the war on them in the first place. Walking into the house and seeing someone new that she didn't know in the living room. But didn't say anything as she walked to the living room.



Nick held Ruby back for a moment to speak with her alone. Watching as Grace headed to the living room to wait for them. "I know, but maybe she's our unexpected visitor that you knew would be showing up.... and Avery said that she was coming by today when I went to get her up. I didn't want to say anything about it until I knew for sure." He explained to her.


Blake stood as the girl that he'd heard at the door come into the living room when Nick invited her in. Looking her over. She wasn't vampire. That was clear, so werewolf. Unsure on why she was here, seeing as from what he had heard her mate had called the war. But he face told a different story. Holding out his hand to her as he went to meet her.

Ruby shook her head. "I don't care she's a werewolf." Ruby hissed looked up at Nick. "You and Blake have two things in common today keeping things from me like I can't handle it." She snapped. "Her explanation better be a good one and if it isn't I will make sure she goes into a cell." Ruby pulled away from Nick. "Grace you have 10 minuets to explain why you are here. If it is a good enough reason I will make sure you get immunity from us, but that means staying here until the war. If you step once in the woods I will have you thrown into a cell and go through a proper trial."

Grace shook the hand the stranger offered, while they were waiting. Then turned back when she heard them come in and Ruby told her she had ten minutes to explain. And if it was good enough she'd get immunity. So either way it was possible that she'd never get back, to her pack. Never be able to save her mate or the pack as a whole. Composing herself before launching into it all. "Will-- everyone really in my pack is in trouble. Will wont listen to me. It's the health consultant. She's possessioning people in the pack, slowly with Wolvebane.... It's something that can help, with pain and other things. But it wasn't until I had a meeting with one of the other Alphas of another pack, we used to be close before I started this one with Will. I told him about Derek, what had happened... He told me that werewolves are going crazy all over the place. Attacking each other, attacking humans... going mad. And they all had high amounts of Wolvebane in there system when they died. I looked into her, once I got back from the meeting, finding that she'd been in multiple packs before, and in every one of them, one or more people died because of Wolvesbane. There was no reason on why they should be on it but they were.... I didn't even question her when I first arrived at the house myself, but I had a feeling saying that I shouldn't like her. It made no sense, because I'd never meet her before that. Then she asked me to order more of it, even though I'd just sent in a huge order for it, and it would be enough. She kept insisting that I order more of it. I refused. That's when it all came together. Why she wanted more, why the werewolves were going mad--- attacking each other. Attacking everyone they can into contact with when they finally lost it. Now, Will's acting different. I try to make a case to him, about why we need to get ride of her, say something even a little bit against her... and he either brushes me off like it doesn't count or it doesn't matter. Or he gets defensive. Telling me to stop lying, stop making things up... to just stop it all together. I don't know, how it was with Raven and Derek before he passed. But from what he told me, they were getting into fights, not agreeing on much. She would say something, and he would get defensive, for no reason. So I believe she was giving him slow doses of it, to make sure it worked, before going after Will.. somehow getting him under her control for some reason. For what I don't know. But from what I've learned, it can't be anything good. And I have no one else to turn to..... please, can you help me?"

Ruby shook her head. "You told me what was going on, but you didn't tell me why I should help you? Right now that seems like a werewolf kind of business. Besides why don't you get his vampire side to come out. Unless if wolvesbane in a higher dosage works on vampires....." Ruby looked over to Blake. Blake you don't think she wants to know you the new Elder's mate is? I mean if she controlled Nick and made him snap then I would go into a horrid mental state and that's how they could capture me. She blocked out Nick from hearing her conversation with Blake. "Nick why don't you go check on Avery and bring her something for breakfast and don't forget to get small bowl of peanuts for Ellie." She wanted to have a private conversation with Grace and Blake and the last thing she wanted was for Nick to hear it.

Nick nodded, squeezing her hand lightly before going to the kitchen and getting something easy for Avery's stomach and a bowl of peanuts for Ellie before going up stairs. Opening the door, to her room and sitting the food on her bedside table.


"What I'm saying is, that this whole thing--- The whole war, could be because of her testing. And Derek had no reason to attack you. I know-- knew. My brother. He wouldn't of done that, he had to have been under some kind of control other then his own free will. What I'm asking, is for your help so that we could possibly put a stop to this, before it's completely too late." She said looking between Ruby and the other that had said he was Blake.


Blake studied the girl as she spoke, glancing a look to Ruby when she brought that up. Shaking his head slightly so only she'd catch it. 'No, I think she's telling the truth... she truly is afraid for her mate and her pack.. I can sense that about her.'

"Answer my damn question can wolvesbane in higher dosages control vampires." She snapped at both Blake and Grace. "I'm not talking about Grace needing to know the new Elder's mate. I'm talking about this healer that is controlling these werewolves. She would want to know about the new Elder's mate my mate." She sensed Raven told Will and Will told Grace about the whole Elder thing. "If wolvesbane can control vampires in higher dosages that means she will go after Nick. Will knows that Nick and Avery is my weakness. He knows Nick is the only one can truly break me." Ruby whispered softly. "If he breaks me then no telling what can be done to me. For all I know they would want me as a weapon. At least he doesn't know about Avery at least Will doesn't know about her." She whispered.

Avery rolled over a little bit. "Daddy my mouth hurts." She whispered softly yawning a little bit.

Grace was surprised by the outburst. But shook it off. She did know that Ruby was the new Elder thanks to Will telling her. But if Eva really did have him under her control-- then maybe he'd have her go after Nick. Without even waiting to see how things went. Seeing as he had said that it was a last result. Shaking her head. "I don't know-- I've never had a reason to learn about were's medicine before. And what effects them, and how it could translate to Vampires." She told them honestly.



Blake thought on his answer for a bit. "It is-- possible. I suppose. I don't master in what werewolves do and what they take when need be. But I have studied vampire remedies before. And Wolvesbane is something that I have not come across before although I have heard of it from time to time... so I suppose, it would be possible, although I would need to be able to look at it, study some of it, somehow. To know exactly how it would effect a vampire."



"I know sweetie, I brought you something to eat for breakfast." he told her, sitting down next to her. "And some peanuts for Ellie if she's hungry too."

Ruby had this sinking feeling inside her stomach that something horrible was going to happen. She closed her eyes. "In Rome I was studying to be a healer from Angelica." She whispered softly looking down a little bit. "She said wolvesbane was really dangerous and shouldn't be used. Grace wasn't sure who or what she was talking about. She had known coming here that Ruby was an elder. And that she was taking a big chance in just coming here, asking for help. But she had no idea what any of this past lives stuff was about either. Looking to Blake as if asking what was going on. Although he was already moving from where he was to kneel down next to Ruby. Backing a little bit away unsure how to proceed.


Blake did remember her studying that and her learning form Angelica. Although he had not known how far or how much she had learned before her death. Resting a hand on her shoulder. "Do you remember why she told you it was dangerous and shouldn't be used?"


Nick smiled going over and sitting down on the chair that they had in the room for them to sit in if need be. Thinking she looked so much like Ruby it wasn't funny. When every he made her breakfast and knew it was something that she liked, her eyes always lite up like that. With a light of their own. "Your welcome Ellie." He said, watching as she started to eat the waffles and fruit he'd brought for her.

Ruby shook her head no. "I don't remember." She whispered softly. "I'm sorry my head hurts." She felt really bad about. "I'm sure I know it, Blake I can't think of it. I just have this feeling that it has something to do with Nick snapping." She whispered softly tears fell down her face. "It hurts Blake."


Avery smiled softly as she continued to eat her breakfast. "This good." A yawn escaped her mouth softly. "Me tired still." She finished her food.

Blake nodded, knowing it would. But if it helped them, and she knew it would then he would help her remember it. "I know, we'll work on it a bit later.. see if we can't figure something out." He told her sparing a glance over to Grace who he had just meet. Resting a finger to her forehead then taking the pain away again.


Grace backed off, not knowing what was going on and not wanting to interfere with it either. Seeing as it was clear that Ruby was in pain and Blake was somehow helping her. Looking around the room, and then going to stand by the window and looking out.



Nick smiled glad that she liked it. Going to take the plate when she finished along with the tray and sat it aside on the table again. "I know, sweetie.. tell you what. How about if I read you a story and then you can get some more rest. I'll have Aunt Grace come up before she leaves to say hi."

Eva grinned, she almost had everything she needed in place. Will was becoming more under her control so she had been slightly cutting back on the doses she gave him. She had all the kits made up. And Grace was gone, and he had picked her as The Female Alpha until her return. Although by that time he might not want her here anymore if she could plat the right ideas in his mind. She thought as she walked out of her office.

Ruby sighed looking down relaxing a little bit. "Nick is in danger and that puts Avery in danger. I know it puts a lot vampires in danger too, but I'm more concerned about Avery." She paused for a second. "I don't like werewolves, but I never meant to start a war against them. I didn't even know that was Derek." She sighed for a moment. "I'll help you Grace, not because I care about your pack or werewolves, because I care about my family. You are not to leave town. You will not be let in on all of our information sources not yet. Not until I know I can trust you." She whispered softly. "Blake do you have anything else to add in?"

Avery nodded her head quickly and flashed a smiled. "Yes daddy." She got comfortable in her seat and smiled softly. "Me ready. Me want story now, please." Ellie was in between her arms as well.

Will looked around already missing Grace. He hated to do that to her, but for some reason he had to. Grace means a lot to him and he hopes that she knows that.

Grace looked over when she heard Ruby start talking to her. Listening to all of it, then nodded in agreement. "I didn't expect you to agree to help because you like us. And I can understand that, even respect that. I came here as a last ditch effort to ask-- plead for help. I wont be leaving town, not now. And even if I could I wouldn't. You have your family to worry about, I have my pack to worry about and protect. I didn't think you did, I didn't even know about it until I got back, and Will brought him in. I might not completely trust you right now, but I'm willing to bet that the more serous threat is back at the house. And if she-- Eva. If she's doing what I suspect she's planning on doing, then none of us are going to stand a chance. Werewolves and Vampire's alike." She told them softly, then looked to Blake when he started talking.



Blake had listened to what the two girls had to say. Ruby was willing to help the werewolf to protect her family where as Grace was more considered about the threat inside of her pack. Rubbing his chin with his hand then let it rest there as he thought. Frowning when he heard Grace say the girls name for the first time. The girl she believed to be a threat to her pack and that was somehow controlling her mate from the sound of it and that had gotten her brother killed.... Eva. He knew that name. But from where? It sounded very furmialler to him but he couldn't place it. Squinting his eyes in deep thought. Not saying anything right away. Then crossing to the books that he had been going through, and picked up one he had finished a couple nights ago when he hadn't been able to sleep. And flipping through it to find a page that he felt sure the answer would be on.



Nick smiled picking out what he knew to be her favorite book at the moment then went and sat next to her. Starting to read the book to her.



Eva walked around the house taking in everything and making sure it was still safe. Everything was still okay then walked back into the house.

Ruby glanced over to Blake and walked over to him glancing down on the page he was looking at. "He had suitors in Rome and Eva was one. Angelica knew who she was and warned me to stay away from her. The first war happened after he killed me." Ruby felt faint images flashed through mind, but they were so clear. Her face paled. "Eva wants........." She stumbled a little bit as her body collapsed as it hit the floor. Her mind was on memory overload and it was causing her mind to shut down.

Avery smiled softly her eyes started to droop some as she begin to fall back to sleep. Her head rested on her father. She was soon fast asleep.

Will walked out of his office and saw Eva. "Eva do you want us to push further in the woods for the new hunting territory. Grace said it was a bad idea, but she isn't here."

Blake had dropped the book just as she crashed down and hit the floor. Picking her up and placing her on the couch. Then touching her forehead. It would bring her to in a while but he feared not soon enough. Seeing as now that they knew who they were dealing with, Grace needed to get back to her people before it was to late to stop this whole thing all together.



Grace stood in shock. She had to know, what Ruby was about to say. Then turned to Blake. "What does she want? What was she about to tell us before she passed out? Who is Eva, really? Tell me.." Seeing him hold up his hand as if to clam her, sensing how much power he really had for the first time. Was he--? No. He couldn't be. But with the power he was radiating she couldn't see any other thing he could be. "You-- Your an Elder? You've been training her-- you have to know who Eva is then.."


"Stop. I'll explain everything but you need to clam down." Blake told her. Waving for him to fallow him to the kitchen picking up the book on the way in. Then went about making a pot of tea for them and pouring it into two cups. Sitting down across from her. "You were right, not to trust her.... and I can sense that you've never trusted her, never liked her. Even though she is part of your pack although you did not allow her in, which means your mate would of have to. Now. What do you want to know about Eva?"


Grace had calmed down, slightly. Although she was still running high, although the tea did seem to be helping. And finally she was going to get answers. "No, I wasn't the one to let her in.. my mate, he was running the house, picking people. I wasn't there at the time, because we were having-- problems. But no, I've never liked her and trusted her even less. Now. Who is she? What was Ruby going to say? What was that all about Rome? Suitors?"



Nick came down after putting the book away, once she was asleep. Walking down the stairs and finding Ruby laying on the couch with Grace and Blake in the kitchen talking.



"No, not yet... but we should soon." She told him, then gave him a smile.

Ruby opened her eyes weakly and saw Nick walking down the stairs. She smiled softly, but her head started to pound. She heard Grace and Blake speaking. Nick couldn't do know what they were up against. Eva was one Nick's many suitors in Rome. I was peasant and she hated me by nature. Eva really liked Nick and wanted him for herself. I don't even think she is a werewolf. Angelica says only witch could master the herbs as masterfully as she did. Her name is Evangelina and she may be helping the werewolves, but she doesn't care about that. She wants Nick and wants the vampires to be gone. Ruby said to Blake blocking Nick. She sat up weakly. "How's Avery."

Will looked at Eva helplessly. "Okay." Everyday she gave him more so he wouldn't fall out from under her control. He was to the point of being addicted to it. "Eva is there anything I can do for you to make you happy." Most of the pack was under her control or slowly becoming under her control. "I want to do something." He begged. He sensed that she had wolvesbane on her and he wanted some so like a good dog he would beg.
