Nick ducked the one zapping the first out and then did the same with the second before it would of slammed into the wall. For the most part he thought he was doing pretty good but then again, he was just starting out and wasn't sure if this was good or not. Coming into a crouch and throwing one of his own at her, but lower.


Grace, had come back after some deep thinking. And had finished helping out with making dinner. Having needed something else to do besides just sit and think. And get lost in her own thoughts and feelings. Maybe she felt this way due to all the stress, and the new discovery's she'd made along with it still being mating season. All of that combined couldn't make for a good reaction to any thing. And the one time that they had almost mated they had been interrupted. Shaking her head to herself as she sat out the plates then went to help carry out the food to the table.

Ruby stopped it and sniffed it out with her hands. She threw an energy ball him a normal vampire wouldn't be able to stop it. A normal vampire wouldn't be able to produce an energy ball. Ruby didn't think nothing of it. It felt natural to throw a energy ball towards someone.

Will sat at the head of the table. Was Grace upset that they didn't get to mate? He didn't think she would he thought they both agreed to wait, but maybe it was mating season getting to her and all the new babies. He would have to ask her about it.

Nick felt his eyes widen and then ducked and rolled out of the way of that one. He didn't know much about what vampires could and couldn't produce yet. But something inside of him told him that normal vampires could do power balls like those. Producing a ball of fire and then tossing it at her.



Grace had finished helping with getting everything on the table, and had sat down. Seeing as the others had as well. Not knowing how to stirk up a contraction with Will now. This morning it had been fine.. easy even. But after the meeting with Justin, and what she had learned once she had gotten back and his words still in her head--- She couldn't think of anything to say. Would Will even still want to talk to her after her outburst this after noon when he wouldn't even look at the papers? And then she had got feed up and left without so much as saying good bye? Maybe he'd just go off on his own and deal with what needed to be done. Maybe she should find a guest room to sleep in tonight,-- that way they could have their space from each other. Maybe she should ask him about that, if she was still going with him after dinner.

Ruby stopped the fire ball before it her then quickly combined it with an energy ball. It didn't feel like she was struggling to test her power limits. She then sent it at him with an unnatural speed. This time the ball hit Nick before he could move away from it. Ruby stood there in shock because she knew that kind of power could seriously hurt someone. Where was Blake he was supposed to be down here to make sure something like this didn't happen?

Blake frowned, when he heard a crash against the wall from the training room. Getting up and rushing to go check what had happened. Walking in and seeing Nick against the wall and Ruby still standing there in what appeared to be shock. Servaling it all for a moment before saying. "What happened?"


Nick had tried his best to either duck out of the way or zap it out before it had a chance to get to him. But it hadn't worked. Neither had. And he had been lunged back and had hit the wall. That hurt like hell--- but he knew no real damages had been done. He would just hurt for a while. Letting his head roll towards the door when he heard it open, and then saw Blake come in. "Ouch."

Ruby didn't answer she hurt Nick, whether it was intentional or not it happened. She backed away a little bit feeling herself hit the fall furtherest away from them. Deciding out of instinct to blink away to a hotel. She was too dangerous to be around Nick, let alone her own daughter tears ran down her face. Maybe running away would make things worse, but that is what she did. She should be comforting Nick, but she felt way to ashamed to do that.

Will began eating his dinner he wondered if Grace was going to sit by him or not. He was still upset at her she had no right to dig in ones past. Did she really not trust who he let in the pack. She didn't even know the pack existed until couple days ago and now she walked in here like she owned the place. He understood that her brother was dead and all, but that didn't mean she needed to take it out on Eva.

Blake had just gone to ask another question when she blinked out. He'd have to find her, once he had made sure Nick was okay and get him right again. Crossing to the wall where he had landed and checked him over for anything. No broken bones, nothing too bad. Just a hard hit. Holding out his hand to help him up.


"Thanks... I'm okay. Just going to be sore for a while." Nick assured him having felt Ruby leave the room. He needed to find her, explain that he was okay. Show her that he was okay. He thought heading to the living room with Blake fallowing behind him.



Grace had wondered rather he'd want her anywhere near him. But had deiced that just to keep up the look of things and not bring any questions about them to the pack she'd sit next to him. Sitting down and taking a drink of her own drink that she had poured herself. Having not trusted anyone else to do so without putting something in it. Maybe it had been a mistake to call the meeting with Justin. But then again if she hadn't she wouldn't of learned about the attacks on humans and on there own kind form other werewolves. Plus she was still hurt by her brothers death. Everything was just going to hell it felt like and there was no simple way to make it get better. If any way at all right now.

Ruby collasped onto a bed and started crying she couldn't be trust near anyone. She couldn't use those powers again, but as much as she felt guilty for doing it she liked the way the power made her feel. Blake I hurt him, I didn't mean too. The power was made me feel amazing. I liked my power is that bad? Does he hate me?

Will looked at Grace then to the pack. "I have the annocument to make. It was brought to my attention today that someone doesn't like the way I pick people for the pack. I hand pick them myself and I trust in my ablitlies. This pack is a pack for second chances. Everyone here has done some things we didn't like. Our pasts are just that we are at a war with an enmey stronger and bigger than us. We have something they don't have we work together on a daily basis. We are united and I hope we will stay that way as we go under seige."

"Rest, I should go speak with her... and you need to heal some before going back in there to start practicing again." Blake told Nick hearing her. Watching as he went to the couch and laid down to rest, flipping the tv off. Before blinking out to where she was. "I know you didn't mean too, it'll take time to get a grip on your power.. Realize how much stronger you are now. No he doesn't hate you, he's worried about you. And he barely had a scratch on him, he's just going to be sore for a while from the en pact but no real harm was done. " he told her walking to the bed and sitting down on the side of it as he spoke.



Was he for real? Was he freakin' for real? He had just called her out in front of everyone, rather they knew it yet or not they would. Sooner or later. And then they'd question her. Question rather or not she was fit to be the Female Alpha, maybe. Why would he even do this? Why hadn't he just come to her, asking why she had accused Eva of something. Something he hadn't even looked at and flat out refused? Clenching her jaw together and biting her tongue.

Ruby looked up to see Blake and frowned and shook her head some. "He hates me if he didn't hate me he would have inisited on coming." She whispered softly. "I can't go back there Blake. I could have hurt him and I can hurt my daughter. The worse part is I like this power." Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Nick doesn't like Elders so why should he liked me?"

"Grace do you have anyting to add about how important unity is?" Will asked softly.

"I didn't really give him a chance to protest about coming with me. Although I sensed that he would of liked too. I made him go rest, in the living room for a bit before he went to bed.. he'll be fine in the morning." He told her, seeing the tears slowly start rolling down her face. "If I know anything about you, and I happen to know quit a lot about you. You wont hurt Avery... you love her too much to even think about it. Nick may not like every Elder there is. But I've been staying with the two of you, for some time now because of the planning and the training. And in all that time he hasn't threatened me in any manner or tried to do anything else to harm me. And he's had plenty of chances to do both. But yet he hasn't. Just like he hasn't tried to harm you. And after this afternoon--- I don't know how else to tell you that he loves you. Yes, it will take time to learn how to control your power better, because your stronger now. And there will be some slip ups I'm sure. Where it ends like it did tonight. But that's only to be expected with new Elders. The key thing to remember though is that he loves you, regardless of what might happen."




How dare he! He had no right to do this, and yet here he was doing it anyways. And she knew why he was doing it, he was doing it to show her that no matter what she had to say he was still the boss. The Alpha of this pack. And her opinions came second to his. Regardless of rather he was right or not. Swallowing any words that she might let slip out in a anger before answering. Ruby shook her head and looked down. She was trying to make an excuse not to go back with. "I can't use these powers anymore no matter what you say about I will learn to contorl them. I know that, but they make me feel amazing after I use them. I can't take the chance of me going power hungry." Ruby was afraid of herself "You could have any vampire to be an Elder. A plain old vampire with no power. Why me? I have the worse mental state. I'm going to get shunned. I'm not special, I disobey almost everything I was taught. Why me?" she whispered.

Will seriously wanted her to pitch in about unity. Yes, he was calling her out on early, but he still wanted to know what she thought. He wasn't trying to show her anything the pack needed to believe that Grace had veiws on unity.

Blake knew she was trying to find some way to not have to go back. To not have to face the problem at hand. But he wasn't going to let that happen. "You'll get used to them. Soon it'll be second nature on how to control them, so that you don't have to worry about them so much. You wont. I'll make sure of that." He told her. Not as a threat. But as a promise. To always be there helping her when she needed it the most. "Because, your missing one important thing. That the other 'normal' vampires don't have." He told her studying her closely.



Maybe he wasn't trying to prove anything to her, or show her up. But she still took it that way. Grinding her teeth and standing up after a moment. Sensing that he wanted her to pitch in. Say something. Letting out a breath. Everyone may not like her in the pack. And she didn't like some either. But if this is what it took so be it. Trying to sound as normal as possible. "Will is right, we have unity, but we also have something else that they don't have. Trust..... Trust in each other. Trust, that when we can't defend ourselves or handle something someone will always be there to catch us.-- " She paused looking around the room at everyone. "Trust, that we can go to someone and confide in them without being judged, or ridiculed. And now, I ask you all. As we go into this smaller then the other side. To stand together, stand united as one, and to trust each other."

Ruby looked through the tears and bit the inside of her cheeks. "Because I stray away from what they taught us. Because I'm not some mindless vampire." Ruby whispered softly. "That still doesn't explain on why that makes me so special or why the Elders want me. The one Elder killed me and turned me into a human another Elder almost took Avery away. They disliked me for so long because I wasn't like the other vampires." She whispered. "And as much as Nick loves me he still hates Elders and I keep thinking that he will hate me too."

Will took a deep breath."I'm going to be also giving Grace a temporary leave to deal with her brother's accident. In that time I'm going to be instating a temporary Alpha Female. I expect no one go to Grace for problems. She needs this time to cope. As much as she says she is ready she isn't." Will wasn't sure if he was punishing for her last few words, but right now he really truly believe that maybe she needed a break.

"Not all of us, just like not all of the vampires have the same views and opinion. I was one of the one's to speak up for you during our-- meeting of sorts if you will. Some of the others, that dislike you see you as weak. Failing to control your feelings, going against everything. They think your a rebel and that you should be handled as such. And that's why they want to take away your crown and give it to your sister. The few that stood with me, on this don't agree. They see it- as well as myself. As bravery. Not willing to yield to others restrictions. They see how much good you can do without being under your mates control. We had talked about it, then when you almost-- died. We had no chose. We either let you die and let your sister take it or save you. I made the decision to save you. Not everyone agrees that it was the best move. But the few that do, will stand with you at the hearing." He told her softly wanting her to understand this. "Plus, I personally think. It'll be nice to have a females say after so many eons of not having one on the bored.---- Nick will always love you. Regardless of what he likes and dislikes. Sometimes I look at him, and I know what he's thinking just as well as I knew what my brother was thinking all those years ago. He might not know it, but he has a lot in common with his past self, just as you do."




A temporary leave? He had got to be kidding her. Then who was he going to give her spot to in the short time she had off? If he picked Eva--- so god help her. She'd reign down hell like she never had before. Although she did need time to grieve for her brother. Would he expect her to go back to her apartment? Or was he going to permit her to stay here during her leave? But then again she was the one in charge of ordering things along with a long list of other things, that some of the others didn't know how to do. Biting her check to keep from saying anything.

"You mean to tell me the Elders were the ones who are behind the council deciding to do the hearing. You mean to say the only reason I'm alive is because I'm a rebel." Ruby looked down deeply upset about this. She knew there had to another reason on why he saved her. There was part of her however that wanted to beleive that the Elders wanted her because she was special or they didn't hate her. "Are you hoping that I raise my daughter to be accutsom to being a 'rebel'? Are you hoping that more people become like me." She said angrily. "I'm not some pawn in a game to make vampires better. I'm a weak vampire. I'm not important. They are right to have this trial and as much as my sister is horrible at least she's better than me. I'm not strong I just love Nick and he's my weakness. I should have just died. The Elders don't want me and my own people don't me." She didn't want to be control no, but she still view her emotions as a weakness. "I'm not special Blake. I'm let down and the quicker you, the people who agree with you, and Nick see that. The quicker you will see that I can't change the way vampires live."


Will sighed. "Lets eat." He began eating his food thinking about who he will put in her place. His mind automatically went to Eva. He notice she sat down a drink for him. He gave her light smile and took a sip of his drink he was beginning to feel his mind a little clouded, but shook it off.

"No. I'm not going to tell you or anyone else how to raise their child. Most likely, they had some sway in the matter, I however did not. Seeing as I've been with the two of you for months now and they haven't called me back. I don't know why the others voted to save you, we aren't allowed to say why we vote one way or another. But I know why I saved you. I saved you, because I couldn't let you die again.. not after you came so far and actually found the curse. I couldn't watch that, only to have to wait another hundred years or so to have you come back and risk you not finding it again. How other vampires live, and act-- that's how they decided. I don't make the rules, of life. That's beyond my control. But I do know, and Nick knows it. And rather or not the Elders know it yet, is another matter. But sooner or later they'll come to see it too. Its you, though that can't seem to see it. That you are, in fact special."




Okay this was enough. Just Enough! If he picked Eva.... of all the other females here to take her spot while she was on leave.. she honestly didn't know if she'd be able to forgive him for that. Taking her own sip of water before clearing her throat, as she watched Eva sit down across the room from them. Speaking quietly so that no one could hear her besides Will. "I know I have no say in the matter, seeing as I'm thinking my leave is going to start soon. But please, consider someone other then Eva for the job in my abestance... "

"You been watching us invisbly for months now? How am I suppose to feel about that?" Ruby looked up and shook her head some. Which would explain a lot of things inlcuding how last month he popped in trying to get Nick to let go or how he saved her so quickly and how he got to her house when Derek attacked her"Pleast stop calling me special." This past week has been a whirlwind of events for everyone. "Just please don't call me special." Ruby hoped he would stop and leave. She didn't believe that she was special nor did she believe that her feelings weren't a weakness. "Why don't you and Nick give up already. I have given up on myself and no matter how much I try not to feel this way again. I do. So please enlight me on what you guys make me special."


Will sighed and shook his head. "Grace who I pick is my choice and my choice only." he whispered softly. "I love you and everything, but you been acting right and I want you to feel better."

Yeah, there were some things going on inside of her head that had thrown her for a loop the past couple of weeks. With her brothers death, the coming war... Will and her trying to work things out. But she still felt like they were growing further apart and not more together. Maybe that had something to do with the way she had been acting lately. And then the meetings today. Both the one here with everyone with the planning and then her own with Justin-- things just weren't looking up for her. And she doubted they'd start looking up anytime soon. Hearing him say that it was his choice and his alone. Her voice shouldn't even be allowed to count for anything anymore. She thought. Knowing just from that little bit that he'd said, that in the end even if he did think over everyone here.. he'd still pick her in the end. Maybe he was right. About what he'd told her a few days ago. That there was no such things as actatal mates and they only did that to keep them in line. And that they could call anyone they wanted their mate. Would he consider doing that if they couldn't work things out in the end? Disown her as his mate and take someone else in steed? Pushing that thought away. But yet he said that he loved her, and that he wanted her to feel better and that was the whole reason why he was doing this. How could she make him see that Eva was just here, for her own gain? Not because she wanted to be part of the pack as a whole? How could she prove that Eva had a hidden agenda that she was keeping from them? Right now she didn't see any way she could do that without him getting mad at her. Letting out a deep sigh of her own turning back to her plate. Sundally not feeling very hungry. Picking at it and managing to eat a little bit of it. Not knowing what else to say to him on the matter seeing as he wasn't listening to her anyways. Pushing her plate away after a few more minutes. "I'm going to go get some air..."




Blake stopped and thought for a moment. "Okay, then I'll stop calling you special...." He told her, then went on. "We haven't given it up because, we believe in you... We see how strong you are, and how much good you can do. Even though you might not think you can. I see it. Nick sees it... That's why we haven't given up. I wasn't always watching, I had other things to do as well. But I've always kept an eye on you, to make sure you were kept safe. Not because of what you might think it's for. But because, even though I didn't make that promise to Nick. I made it to my brother all those years ago, I still try and do my best to keep it. That's why I've been keeping an eye on you. Even if I fail at everything else, I swore to him that I'd keep an eye on you, and protect you if I needed to. And I don't intend to ever break that promise." He told her in way of explanation.

Will nodded looking at her leave and frowned a little unsure on why she was leaving dinner early. Did he do something wrong? Wasn't it the polite thing to let her take a break from all this? She would never be able to see her brother again and he didn't want her to become obessed with the war. A war that he was still uncertain about, but for some reason he thought it had to be done to show that they were here to stay.


Ruby looked up at him and shook her head. "I wish I could see what you guys see in me, but I don't." She sighed a little bit letting the tears fall down. "I'm tired of feeling this way like I'm not good enough. I'm so confused Blake everything I was taught just seems to get in the way of my life. I was taught that my emotions were weakness and then I met Nick and I let him. I fell for him then I turned him into a vampire which was against the rules. I was taught so many different things, but with Nick the rules and what I was taught doesn't matter. I still have this voice in my head that says I'm doing things wrong."

Grace was able to hold herself together until she got outside and a little ways from the house. Seeing as she didn't want to go to far away just in case he did want her to come with him to do the rounds. But she also needed time alone. Away from everyone. Feeling tears starting to run down her cheeks again, but forcing herself not to make a noise not wanting to draw attention to herself. Reaching up and whipping them away angry at herself. Everything was going to hell and there was nothing she could do to make it any better. Derek was dead and she'd never be able to talk to him again, and right now she needed too. She needed to hear him say that everything was going to be okay. But she knew they weren't. War was coming, Will was-- trying his best she knew but felt that he was still mad or dispointed in her. And she wasn't helping matters, she knew. And when she tired to talk to him about anything, expcally Eva it felt like he was just accusing her of something. Many things. And she was the only one who knew about Eva's hidden angnda and if she told anyone no one would believe her. And when she went to Will about it or even tried to talk about it with him it only lead to a fight. Maybe coming here in the first place had been a mistake.



Blake nodded, as he listened. "Would it help if I showed you what we saw in you?" He asked thinking it might help a little. Get her to understand if not fully then at least she would start to. Having known some of her history with Nick from what she'd told him along with the records he'd gone over as well.

Will finished his foods and he started to walk to the forest to see the extent of the fire. He wondered if Grace would show up or not. Was there something more he could do to make her feel better? He wasn't sure if he was even doing anything wrong. He refused to listen to someone's past that didn't matter.

Ruby nodded her head slightly. "Yes please show me." She was little nervous on what he would show her.

Run. Grace needed to run. Do something to be moving.. She thought shifting and taking off into the woods. Heading to where the fire had been. Hoping that dealing with it would somehow make things easier. Somehow push back what she was feeling. Make it less important. Focus on the here and now. Not her feelings. She thought as she ran, reaching the area in little under 15 minutes. Looking around at it all and taking it in. They'd have to try and replant... do something to bring it all back the way it was before. She thought not bothering with shifting back.

Blake gave a slight nod, reaching out and touching her arm as he started to show her everything that she couldn't see about herself that Nick and him could see so easily. As if it was second nature to them but not to her.

Will got there before she did and waited ten minuets before he started to head back disappointed that she didn't show up. Little did he know that she would come 5 minutes later. Maybe him and Grace weren't suppose to work out. He ran his hand through his hair and notice Eva there. "She didn't show and I don't why. I thought maybe she would like some time off since Derek."

Ruby didn't really see anything at first and when she did start seeing things it was a blur. "Blake I don't see anything." She felt her eyes closed as her body limp on the bed little did she know Blake was going to guide her through her past. She opened her eyes to see her surroundings change. "Blake where are we?"

Blake opened his eyes, as well looking around and then smiling. He remembered this place very well. They would be watching her with Nick. Well-- who used to be Nick in this round. "Rome, 1476." He told her turning and seeing Ruby then along with Nick back then. "Watch."



Grace let out a breath, as she scented the air. She smelt smoke, and what hint of fire had been the last to burn out. Along with undergrowth. And under all of that-- Will. He'd come already... and then left. His scent was still there but it was fading. So she knew that he wasn't still there. Looking around at everything again before looping back to the house.



Eva had waited outside to see how things had gone. Seeing as she wanted to know even if she hadn't gone with him. Looking up when he came back. "I don't know... she hasn't come back. I asked around, if anyone had seen her. Maybe she was just running late, and you two missed each other. I'm sure she'll come to see that she needs the time off to recover after what happened."

Ruby looked over to her pastself and Nick's pastself. "He was a prince and I was peasant." She whispered softly seeing there interaction. "He wants to marry me and she I mean I told him no because I was just a peasant. He insited and the day of our wedding day he killed me."She was missing the whole enitre point of this.

"If she isn't back soon we have to close the gates." Will whipsered he didn't want to do that, but maybe it was for the best. Maybe she should spend some time away from the pack. "Eva you don't think that she is going to have a mental break down?" Eva was the health expert in the pack.

Ruby saw images shift it was week before the wedding she wasn't with him for some reason. "Blake I don't see it all I see is what happens the day of the wedding. He kills me like so many other times before and after this." Tears ran down her face. "What's preventing him from snapping now? The curse may be broken, but the Elders don't like me. They don't want my happy ending. Why should I think I'm special if I'm going to end up losing Nick? Why should I think he doesn't care that I turned him into a vampire? This time he can't kill me, but he can kill Avery. He's not meant to be a vampire." Ruby looked down wiping the tears off her face. "He's not to meant to have me." She backed away and started to run off she was determined to prove to them that she was weak. Blake popped up in front of her. "Let me run. That's what I do best. I run from my problems. I don't want to face them. I'm nothing important. I'm just girl who is a coward." Ruby whispered. Then she saw a person walk out of a door.

"Sarah he loves you, but you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself. I understand you have hard life and being a vampire doesn't help, but you have to break before you can pick yourself up again. Henry will always love you for you. You can't run from things child. Henry won't let you and neither will Blake. You have wonderful people near you child. Pick yourself up" Angelica said to Sarah. Sarah must have been her past life Ruby thought. There was a reason Blake bought her to this Rome because of this.

Ruby crouched down on the dirt path. "Blake you guys aren't going to let me run are you? I have broke many times, but I haven't picked myself up yet." She whispered. "I just find it easier to run and push away people. Then to really work at becoming a better person."

Will nodded to Eva's response. "She doesn't like you and I don't know why. If I make you the temporary Alpha Female she would get so upset, but I feel like I have to though." His mind started to sink deeper into Eva's control. "What do you want me to do, Eva." He was almost completley under her control. He looked up at her helpless. For some reason Eva's words mattered to him.

Blake had known this part she'd see. He'd made sure of it. Holding his hand out for her to take. "No. I'm not and he's not either. And, if you want to take any advice at all, you don't have to take it from me. You should at least then take it from Angelica. She was very wise.. and very often right." he told her helping her up. "Or, I can show you another... " He offered unsure if she'd take it though.




Eva knew that soon enough he'd be under her full control. And then they could really get the ball going with the war. Just like they had planned. Pretending to give it some thought. "Think on it, decide who should steep in for her. Rather if it's me or someone else.. untimely it's your choose and no one else can make it." She told him although she knew in the end he'd still pick her.


Grace sighed as she gazed at the sheet of paper before her. She had written everything. How she felt, what she thought of all of this.. about her brothers death. What she had found and suspected about Eva. How no matter what she tried or how many times she tired to talk to him, he always brushed her off. Or that it turned into a fight. Reading it all over again. She might need the time off that he was willingly giving her. But she also needed him to listen to her, trust her even. Without him blowing her off or jumping straight to the worst thing possible. She needed him. And she knew just as well that she wasn't going to get him until she either dealt with Eva or she was able to get him to listen to her.

Blake started it all over again. Starting from the beginning. Maybe if he could show her more then she'd understand. But adding in a week before the wedding when Nick was alone and speaking to his father and some other men. Then showed her the wedding day again. Maybe that one part would help her understand better he thought.


Eva looked up when she heard him ask about the mental break down. Thinking for a moment. "I don't know, I'd have to check her out, and everything but it's possible. Consdering everything. So I can't give it a straight out no."


Grace ran to the back of the house and shifted. Walking in and heading up the back stair case all the way to the thrid floor. She hadn't been in the mood to talk to anyone. Reaching their room and walking in looking around before going to find something to sleep in. Changing into it, wondering if she should sleep in another room. Looking around and seeing a note book. Going over and picking it up before going to the bed and starting to write.

Ruby took his hand and pushed herself up. She bit her lip unsure what ot say or do. "Yes, I would like to see another memory." She whispered knowing it was the right thing to do. It was time for her to stop running away. "Everything you show me is going to help in one way or another." She whispered softly. "Its time for me to stop running and start changing." It took a lot out of her to say.

Will nodded his head and looked up at her. "I will think about it. I think I might retire to my bed. Is there anything you want me to do for you before hand?" He asked.

Blake nodded briskly. "Very well. Another memory it is then.." Glad that she had decided to stop running and finally face everything head on. Taking her forward a hundred years from the first one that had been placed in Rome. But this time they were in England.


"No, I need to double check some things and then I'll be heading off to bed for the night as well." She told him, starting to head back into the house so that she could go to her office.


((That might be doable... Although she's in Will and her shared room right now. So maybe in the next few posts or so she can go to them))

Ruby looked around. "Where are we now?" She asked softly unsure what she was supposed to see now. Ruby wasn't sure if this was a good idea she started to feel uncertain about this. "I don't want to be here." She wondered why that was.

Will nodded his head and started to walk to his house, but he didn't really want to go back there. He sighed and walked over to the fire pit and sat down.

"England, 18th century." He told her then eyed her when she said that she didn't want to be here. Could it be that she was already sensing somewhat, what was going to befall- or he should say had already befallen her in this life and she somehow didn't want to relive it? "They don't know we're here,-- it's like a real on a movie that plays over and over. You can see it and watch it. But the people on the screen can't see or know you're here. So they can't harm you," He assured her.


Grace let out a breath sitting the note book aside on the near by table. Then sliding under the covers to go to sleep for the night although she felt too wired to sleep. But she'd at least give it a try.

Ruby looked up at him confused on why he was saying that then she saw her well her past self running. She stood there petrefied as a mob was coming at her, but they weren't after her. She then saw herself turned down a dead end street and she was confronted by Nick well his past self "You monster." he said in a cold voice and stabbed her. This felt real really real.

"Stop it stop it." Ruby begged. "Why did you show me this?"

Will didn't come back he stayed at the fire pit and walked around the camp as a patorlmen tonight eventually he went to his office and slept on his couch in there.

Blake snapped them out of it and back to the hotel room they'd been in when he showed her the first memory. Only then did he answer her question. "I wanted you to know that not all of your past lives together were-- well, not always the most happiest of ones. Seeing as you need to know the bad ones as well as the good ones. Now, shall we try for a better one?"



Grace woke in the morning, letting out a breath. She had slept. Not very good but she had slept. Scenting the air to see if he'd ever come to bed. He hadn't. Did he even know that she had come back? She didn't think so, and if he did it was clear that he didn't care. Getting up and going to the bathroom to shower and dress before heading down the long stair case and going to the kitchen starting on breakfast for everyone. There were some others in the kitchen as well but not many. And she was glad to have the distraction.

Ruby shook her head no. "Are you kidding me how were any of pass lives happy? They end the same the one love kills me." She snapped. "What is preventing from that happening again?" She asked looking at him. "Something is going to happen. I just know it in my gut. Something is going to make Nick snap." She whispered.

Will awaked already and ate breakfast he was out on morning patrols and assigning duties. He decided to lock Grace out of his office and most of the computers because she was just going to try to find out about someone else past and bring it up.

"Maybe not this time. He was never turned into a vampire in his past life. This is the first time he's become one, and he has you to look to for advice and guidance now. Some though were worse then others. I can assure you, seeing as I was always there. Playing some part in your past lives together. Where as you two don't remember them, I do. I could show you some of your worst lives together and some of the best ones you two ever shared together. The first one I showed you, wasn't one of the worst but it also wasn't one of the best you two lived. The one we just got done with were one of the more--- not so well ones. If you will."



Grace excused herself after a while of helping. Having decided on something while she'd been cooking and helping. Asking Mary to watch what she'd been working on so that it didn't burn while she went and saw to something. Walking out and trying to find Will. There was no need for her anymore to go looking into Eva's past she'd already found what she had needed to. Although she still planned on making a stop in before leaving to have a word with Eva. Going first and knocking on the office door.

"Blake something is going to happen to make Nick snap I have a feeling." She whispered softly. "He's going to snap." Ruby didn't know how to explain this feeling she was feeling. "Its like I know its going to happen, but at the same time I don't know when it is." Ruby looked down. "I have to get back to Nick." She blinked into her house seeing Nick on the couch. "Nick your alright." She sighed in relief running over to hug him.

Eva wasn't in her office. She was with Will helping him plan. The whole pack knew that Eva was the new alapha female already.

Blake nodded slightly letting her go, but staying behind for a few moments. Then blinking into the kitchen of the house to give them time together. Pulling down a glass and filling it with water.



Nick held out an arm for her to hug him when she moved in for one. Wrapping his arms around her gently so not to hurt her or himself anymore then he already was. Although he was just sore nothing more. "I am, you didn't hurt me Strawberry-- " He told her knowing she had to be feeling guilty for it.


When she got no answer she headed to the room they had started planing in. Which had lead it to be called the 'planning room'. Knocking on the door, before cracking it open a wee bit. "Can I have a word? I'll make it quick..." Mostly she just wanted to let him know she was going to be taking her leave away from the house. Well-- not that she'd be using it to recover like he'd hoped but still. Then frowning when she saw Eva in there with him. Had he already named her The New Female Alpha to take her place while she was gone? And that was why she was in here with him?

"No, Nick its not that I have this feeling that your going to snap. Blake told me you were all right and I'm so glad your okay." She whispered holding on to him tightly. "I just have this feeling that you are going to snap sometime soon." Tears ran down her face. "Your okay."

Will looked at her and sighed. "You can go now. I already gave you the permission to decide what you want to do with your leave you don't have to tell me." He whispered.

Nick held out his arms to her so that she could join him, and lay down if she wanted too. "I'm glad he let you know, although I wasn't sure that he did--- I'm fine. I feel okay, besides, what happened. I don't know what- if I'm even going to snap." He assured her.



Grace gave a brief nod. Clearly it seemed he didn't care what she did with her leave or what she did on it. "Thank you, although I do still need a word with Eva." She said looking in the other girls detection.

Ruby hugged him tightly. "I have a feeling you are why doesn't any believe that feeling?" She whispered softly and curled into him. "I just have this gut feeling that you are going to snap."

"Grace, no don't start this again. You can talk in front of both of us. I thought you were done with this Eva thing. I know Eva's past she came here for the change. If you are going to hold her past against here then you clearly don't respect this pack. We accept everyone here even if they have a horrible past. We both wanted that Grace, why are you changing your mind all of the sudden?" Will asked.

"I do believe you, and the gut feeling your having. But right now. Right in this moment. I don't know what would make me snap, soon.." He told her wrapping an arm around and hugging her close.



"It's not about that, it's something health related." Okay that was a total lie, but if it meant getting Eva alone, then so be it. Hopefully it worked seeing as what she had to say couldn't be said in front of Will. Not in front of anybody.

Ruby was having a hard time shaking off what she saw in England. Nick stabbed her and the looked in his eyes was heartless. It wasn't the person who always had a loving look in his eyes. "I don't know either. You can't kill me anyways, but I'm not worried about me all the way."

"No, Grace you're lying. Please leave before I have someone escorted out I'm not going to have you harrass her. She did nothing wrong." Will snapped he was getting angry at her. "If you can't drop her past I want you to to leave for good. I'm not about to have this pack be drag in the dirt because one person wasn't accepting. You don't even have to accept the person's past you just to irgnore it."

Nick listened unsure how to make it out. "Not that I would ever even want to,--- are you worried about Avery? I don't think I'd be able to harm either one of you, even if I tried too. I love you two both so much." He told her rubbing her back softly.




The only problem was that she wasn't going to just aspect it or just simply forget or ignore it. Not after what she had learned. And there was no way of telling him that when he was like this, seeing as no matter how careful she was around the topic it always lead to a fight between them. And he always ended up defending her. Never even bothering to listen to her and what she had to say. Anything that she had to say about it and Eva didn't matter. But she also wasn't willing to risk having the rest of the pack run to the ground either. "Fine. I'll be back by weeks end.. if not then next week." Seeing as clearly he had meant for her to be gone for a week or until the beganing of the new week. She told him turning to leave.

Ruby didn't answer him. "If you loved me so much you wouldn't have killed me so many times before that." She whispered softly she didn't mean to say this, but with whatt she just got done seeing the memories were still fresh inside of her head. "I just keep seeing you stabbing me and the look in your eyes isn't you." A yawn escaped her mouth. "I can't lose your personality. Or just anything about you."

Will nodded his head a little bit seeing her leave. His attentions turned back to Eva.
