SOLVED. Childrens Book Series with Skeleton main character black covers [s]

I read a book series in probably the mid-ninety's of picture children's books with a skeleton as the main character and they had black covers seem like the skeletons name was Freddy or Franky. (I could be wrong on skeletons name though)
