She smiled," Well alright." She replied sitting down next to him.

He ate quietly and when he was done he set his plate on the table and placed his hand on her knee.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled raising her brow.s

She ate slowly not and as much as she normally did. When she was done she out her plate with Jordan's and looked over at him.

He slipped his arms around her waist," What?" He asked looking down at her

Jordan was on his phone fiddling with some app he couldn't figure out. He looked up and over at Gracie, he noticed she had been looking at him for awhile, he smiled a little bit and blushed, "What? Do I have food on my face?" he asked wiping his mouth.

She just smiled and shook her head, "Nothing."

Gracie watched him with slight amusement on her face. She laughed softly as he looked over at her and started wiping his face off," Why do you always think you have food on your face?" She asked giggling

He grinned at her," Well ok." He said hugging her a little

He laughed a little and dropped his hands back down by his side. "I don't know."he said with a shrug.

She hugged him.back and closed her eyes taking a deep breath. "Thank you. "

Gracie giggled and leaned her shoulder against him," Do I look at you funny?" She asked," Is that why?" She smiled up at him her hand finding his almost without her thinking about it.

He squeezed her gently," You're welcome." He said softly though he disk know what she was thanking him for

He laughed a little and put his hand on her thigh,"You always look at me funny." he said giving her a playful wink. "Just kidding."he said softly.

She smiled and just stayed in his arms for a few more seconds.

She giggled a little and leaned against him," Im sure I do." She said with a small smile.

He held her for a while not caring really who would see them at the pool

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her,"I love you."

She finally pulled away,"Want to go down the slides?"she asked biting her lip.

She snuggled against him and wrapped her arms around his waist," I love you too." She whispered

Zach let her go and looked down at her," Sure we can but I bet I will beat you down." He teased

He pulled her closer and put his forehead to hers. He closed his eyes,"I'm going to say a prayer. I hope you don't mind." he said. He held one of her hands and he began to speak softly,"Father, I just want to thank you..."and on he went.

She rolled her eyes,"Could you just let me win one thing? Please?"she asked giving him a smile and wink. She climbed the stairs out of the pool and made her way to the slides.

Gracie smiled gently at him before closing her eyes a little," I don't mind." She said softly. Holding his hand tightly in hers as she listened to his prayer.

Zach smiled at her," You are lucky your so cute." He muttered climbing out of the pool to follow her

As he finished he sighed, it did make him feel better to say a prayer. He mentioned Gracie, and protection and support, and his family and her family...it was a general prayer, but he did mention things about him leaving.

Kelsey just climbed out of the pool not really hearing him, she thought she heard something but was unsure of what was said, "Hm?"

Gracie stayed cuddled against him as he prayed. She smiled a little at what he said but otherwise stayed quiet as she just prayed silently in her heart. Gracie just wanted him to be safe and to come back to her and both of their families.

He shook his head a little as he climbed out of the pool after her," nothing." He said tickling her side gently

Jordan finally closed up the prayer with the typical 'Amen' and when he was done, he smiled at his family and kissed Gracie's hand. "i love you guys." he said smiling brightly, thankful to have such a great family, and a girlfriend who loved him more than he could imagine.

She laughed and squirmed a little, "Don't you have anything better to do than hang out with me all the time?" she asked running her fingers through his hair as she looked into his eyes.

Gracie smiled a little and kept close to him as he said Amen. She want about to let him leave her side until he had to get on the plane to take him where ever he had to go. "I love you too." Se said softly. Gracie was glad she had him in her life, and was glad that he wanted to serve his country she just wanted him closer to home.

Zach laughed softly and continued tickling her gently," Nope not a thing. For the next few days." He replied grinning

When lunch was over, Jordan helped his mom do dishes, something he did every time he had a meal over at his parents house. Once he was done with the dishes, he and Gracie visited for awhile. Jordan was sitting in the recliner which he seemed to hog every chance he could, "Alright, well Gracie and I have some errands to run, so we better get going." he said standing up. He looked over at Gracie as he clasped his hands together and stretched them above his head as he groaned.

She laughed, "Oh man, my stomach hurts." she said closing her eyes as she laughed even harder. She grabbed his hands, "You're going to give me a six pack."

Gracie got up from the table and helped clear it off like she normally did when she an Jordan were at his parent's house. She smiled a little at how much everyone normally helped out. She giggled softly at Jordan as he sat in the recliner like usual. Grace nodded," Yeah that's true. We will see you all later." Se said getting up.

He laughed loudly and let her grab his hands, " I dot think you can get a six pack from laughing but we can try it."

He hugged his mom and said goodbye to everyone else, then looked over at Gracie,"Ready?"

She shook her head and smiled.

She said goodbye to his parents and brothers. She nodded a little and slipped her hand into his," Yeah I'm ready if you are."

He laughed as nodded a little," Why not?" He aske

He nodded and clutched her hand tightly. "We'll see you all later tonight. Bye!"he said he opened the door for Gracie.

She smiled and let his hands go not saying anything.

She held onto him tightly and smiled at his family waving a little," See you tonight." She said walking out the door with him,

He grinned at her," So what should we do now?" He asked letting his hands fall to his sides

He unlocked the car and opened her door for her, and just before she got in the car he gave her lips a peck, then he walked over to his side with a smirk on his face.

She rose an eyebrow and pushed his shoulders back gently, straddling his waist she started to tickle him. "I think it's about your turn."she said smiling.

Gracie smiled as she got into his car. She smiled a little more after he kissed her. She giggled and closed the door after she got in.

He chuckled softly as he grabbed her around the waist. "Right I thought I told you I wasn't ticklish." He said

He turned on the car and took off down the street,"Where are we headed?"he asked.

She smiled and leaned forward, she was pretty much paying on him. "Whatever! There has to be some part of you that is!"

She shrugged," It was your idea.. Where do you have to go?" She asked him.

He grinned," No there isn't." He replied

"Well I need to run a few personal errands, by myself, sooo I thought you had to go to a few places."


She started tickling him, "You are nooo fun!!"

"Well no, I finished getting everything with my sister earlier. I can just walk around the mall while you get whatever it is you need."

He laughed ad shook his head," No but you are quite entertaining."

"Are you sure? It might take me awhile, what if I give you some money to go shopping or something?"

She rolled her eyes,"Whatevvveeerr."

She nodded," It's fine.. Jordan I have my own money I can take care of myself." She replied softly looking over at him.

He laughed and tickling her softly," You are." He answered

He kept his eyes focused on the road, but he saw her look over. He smiled and grabbed her hand and rested it on the console. "Ok, well I just feel bad, I thought you had something else to do...but you don't. "He said turning into the mall parking lot. \

She laughed and arched her back clutching her stomach, "It hurts."

She laughed softly," Ohh JJ I can always find something if I'm at the mall." She replied holding his hand and leaning over to kiss his cheek softly," Besides if I can find some nice paper and things then I won't have to go out looking for some after you leave." She answered softly

He laughed at her and pulled her down on top of him," Aww my poor baby." He said hugging her

He smiled, then a small frown seemed to appear on his face. "Yeah..."he said softly as he pulled up next to the front doors. "Ok, so when I call you when I'm done, can you meet me at these doors please?" he asked putting his car in park so he could lean over to kiss her goodbye.

She smiled and wrapped her arms around his muscular frame. "You're cheesy." she said giving him a wink.

Gracie looked over at him and squeezed his hand a little," yes I can meet you here after you call me." She answered nodding a little. She leaned closer to him and kissed him softly.

Zach chuckled and squeezed her tightly," yeah yeah I know." He answered

He kissed her back but pulled away a moment later, "Ok sweetheart. Go have fun, and call me if you need anything. I love you." he said smiling at her. He couldn't imagine his life without her at this point in time...he wanted to marry her.

She smiled showing off the small dimple on her left cheek, "That's ok. I am too." She sat up and pulled him by his arm with her, "Do you want to stay, or are you ready to go?" They had pretty much done everything. They swam, went down the slides, and went through the lazy river a few times.

She smiled as he pulled away from her," Alright I'll go have fun without you." She teased softly, "You know you're the only guy I call with my problems besides my dad. I love you too." She replied grabbing her purse and phone before grabbing the door Handle and getting out of his car with a little wave to him.

He grinned seeing her dimple show up. Most times they hung out he would try to get her to laugh or smile enough to see it. "Yeah I know you are." He said laughing and sitting up at her tugging him. He shrugged a little," Well we can go back to your house.. I'm starving,"

He smiled and waved back at her. He rolled down his window, as she was walking away,"Gracie!!!" he said as he backed u, he pulled up next to her, "I love you!" he said before he winked and pulled away. He had quite a few errands to run, and didn't realize how late it was, they had spent more time at his parent's than he expected.

She smiled, and grabbed his hand, lacing their fingers together, "Sound perfect." She grabbed their stuff off of the white plastic pool chairs that were scattered all around the pool area, "I'm going to go change, I'll meet you out front." she said smiling at him.

Gracie turned a little to see him pull up beside her," I love you too.. Now hurry up or we'll be later than you want to be." She said blowing him a kiss ad walking into the mall

He laughed softly as he held her hand." Alright I'm coming.. I wouldn't miss getting something to eat." He answere looking at her

He smiled and finzlly forced himself to pull away. Often times Jj felt lime he was too clingy, and that made him self concious, he didn't want to be clingy....no not at all. It was bad when girls were clingy, he could only imagine when a guy was clingy...sk often times he would pull stunts like these. Tell Gracje he had to run errands and take her someone..or give her money for her and her friends to do things...and sometimes while she was out doing them...he would sit and wait in his csr or act like he was doing something. Sometimes he even felt bad for doing that, she had never really said anything about him being clingy or needing time away...but he was paranoid, and besides how was he to know?

She looked back at him and smiled showing her dimples yet again. She shook her head and walked into the women's locker room, shaking her hips ever so slightly as she did...wondering if he noticed. Kelsie was not one to try and attract extra attention from other males....rather than try to attract attention frlm the ones she seeks. She had always done it, sometimes without even noticing. Whether it be a slight swing of her hips as she walks by, or maybe run a hand through her hair, or even sometimes she would hum a little tune softly to herself.

Gracie turned around slightly and headed into the store as he pulled away. She wasnt all that sure what she was going to do there but she figured Jordan needed to get things for himself before he left the next morning. She walked along the mall just really window shopping trying to pass the time even though right then she would have much rather been with JJ. She was a more independent person but when Jordan was around she would lean on him a little and let him do whatever he wanted for her really. She wasn't sure how she would get by without him for the next few months

Zach chuckled softly as he watched her walk away. He normally didn't stare after a girl like he often would with Kelsie, but this time it was different. He watched most of what she did without her knowing for the past few years. It wasn't like he was being creepy or anything. He looked after her and then went to change himself taking a few minutes to actually put his stuff in his bag properly since they were going out to get something to eat.

Aftrr about 30 minutes all of Jordan's errands he wanted to run and do were completed. He sighed and checked the time on his phone. He was fast...maybe just because he was so anxious to get Gracie. It all felt surreal. He left tomorrow. Wouldn't be back for 6 months. Those would be the longest 6 months of his life. He sat in his csr flr awhile thinking...and after awhile of thinking a tear rolled down his right cheek, and another rolled down his left. Before he knew it, he was balling quietly in the peace of his own little car. He texted Gracie, "I love you."

Kelsie decided to take a a short shower in the locker room showers. She used some of the soap that was ready in the dispensers mounted to the shower wall for her hair and body. She really didn't care...she just wanted to try to get the chlorine off her skin and out of her hair. When she was done she scrambled to change, comb through her hair and gsther all of her stuff without forgeting everything. She had felt bad because she knew it had taken her much more time than it had taken him...it ways had...girls were just slow. She walked out into the rec center and found Zach waiting, "Hi...ohmygosh I'm so sorry. I'm a terrible person." She said giving him a somehwat pathetic, pouty smile.

Gracie walked around the mall picking up little things that she could send to Jordan while he was away. She sighed a little and tried not to think too much about the next day because she knew she would start to cry and she didn't want to start in such a public place. She looked down at her phone and smiled at his text ~I love you too JJ~ she replied

Zach was sitting on a bench in the rec center while he waited for her. His bag was on the floor at his feet and he had his phone on facebook and playing some different games while he waited for her to come back out to him. He looked up at the sound of her voice and shrugged a little, "you are not just a little slow." he teased her softly as he got up

He held his phone in his big, masculine hands, he felt it vibrste but he didn't check it right away. He waited a minute or two before he pushed the button at the side, typed in his password...which was of course the day he asked Gracie to be his girlfriend and checked his text. It made him smile...and think of her ...and forget about everything else he was thinking about. "Man. I really love this girm."he said cheesliy to himself.

Kemsie smiled and wrapped her arm around hiswaist,"I know I know...but I'm a girl and girls are slow. "She said smiling. She squeezed his side a little bit to sjow affection and as they walked out she grabbed her sunglasses out of hrr bag and slide them on because the sun was so blinding her sensitive eyes couldn't bsre it. "Sk...where are we goin?"dhe asked.

Gracie smiled a bit as she walked holding her bags in one hand and wondering when she would get picked up. Not that she minded the time she got to spend by herself without Jordan around, but she still liked it when he bugged her about different things or was there to just take everything out of her hands when she got something. It was those little weird things he did that she would miss the most about him being home with her

Zach laughed softly and hugged her a bit," I know why do you think I got dressed with my eyes shut?" He teased her softly," I don't know I thought you knew where we were going." He answered walking off with her to the car. He kept his arm around her shoulder as they walked though

Jordan decided it was time. He picked up his phone and dialed Gracie's phone number. He waited and as he did, he closed his eyes.

Kelsie laughed a littme and shook her head, "Well. I think that you Zach you pick where we're going. Beeecause I feel like I akways pick, but this time I really want you to pick....so please pick." She said giving a sly little smile.

Gracie pulled her phone out of her pocket as it started ringing," Hey JJ." She said softly and with a bit of a smile

Zach chuckled softly," Alright alright... Well I'm hungry so I think food should be gotten before we go home." He said looking over at her

He smiled when she picked up, "Hi baby. I hope I'm not bothering you. I'm done with my errands, are you finished, still shopping, or do you want me to come pick you up now?" he asked. He bit his lip, he turned into the mall parking lot and parked the car all the way at the back in case she wasn't ready to go, he would just wait for her instead of going home.

She smiled, "Ok...you still didn't tell me what you wanted you butthead." she said as she unlocked the doors and got in her little car that she adored so much. She slid in with ease and buckled up, and waited until Zach was in and buckled before she started the car and backed out of the spot with caution.

She smiled slightly as he rambled on," Im all done if you are." She answered when he stopped talking to her. Gracie smiled slightly," Where did you want me to meet you again?" She asked

Zach rolled his eyes," Lets just go to chipotle." He answered getting into her tiny car," Okay next time we go out we are talking my car." He told her softly.

He smiled and started the car back up, "Meet me at the doors that I dropped you off by. I'll be there in about 5." he said with a smile. Though he was parked not far from those doors at all he didn't want her to think hew as a dork because he was already there and waiting for her.

She looked over at him and rolled her eyes, "Why? Do you have a problem with my cute little Betsy?" She looked both ways before she turned out of the parking lot and into traffic.
