Tinker Bell and Meaty

He sighed and let her sort of take the lead, he thought to himself. As they walked into the store he groaned and looked at Gracie.

She smiled and let go of his hand. She saw her mom in the kitchen and smiled,"Good morning mom."she said walking over to give her mom a hug.

She walked next to him into the store. Gracie looked over at him hearing his groan," Come on let's make this quick." She said gently tugging on his arm.

Zach walked into the kitchen with her smiling at her mom," Good morning," he said

He walked by her side and grabbed her by the waist pulling her closer.

Kelsy's mom smiled and hugged Kelsy "Morning sweetheart." She looked over at Zach,"Oh hey Zach. I'm guessing you stayed the night?"she asked. Some parents would be worried having a boy stay the night with their daughter, but Kelsy's parents knew it was nothing and that they were best friends.

Gracie giggled softly when he wrapped his arms around her waist," I thought you wanted to be fast?" She asked looking up at him.

Zach nodded a little," yeah I did... We got back late and Kels asked me to stay." He answered. He knew both of their parents didn't really worry about them spending the nights with each other

"just pick something."he whispered into her ear. "Make sure it's dressy though."he said looking arund at all the clothes that surrounded them.

Heather nodded,"Ahh." she looked at Kelsy as if to say, Kelsy Ann Laught, you ask too much of him.

Kelsy looked over at her mom,"What?"she asked. "Are you mad that I woke you up at 2:15, asked you to take me to get food, and spend the night?" she asked looking at Zach.

She smiled at him," Alright." She answered softly moving out of his arms a little. Though she wanted to stay there the rest of the day. She picked out a nice light purple shirt and a tie to match," How is this?" She asked

Zach shook his head," No I'm not mad at you... Actually I don't think I have ever been mad at you."

He looked at it,"Purple?"he said giving her a look that pretty much said it all. Jordan was probably the most difficult person when he didn't want to do something.

Kelsy gave her mom a, SEE look and smiled triumphantly. She sat at a stool that lead to a island in the middle of the kitchen,"Are you making breakfast?"

Heather sighed,"Yeah I guess I can make you two breakfast, what do you guys want?"

Gracie rolled her eyes just a little when she saw his look," Please? It will look nice." She said

Zach didn't say anything seeing the looks passed between mother and daughter. Though he grinned a little and sat beside Kelsy," whatever you guys want is fine with me."

He sighed and rolled his eyes, "Fine."he muttered. "Do I have to try it on?"he asked pulling her back into him.

Kelsy rolled her eyes and looked at Zach,"Seriously..do you ever think about yourself?"

Gracie smiled brightly and kissed his cheek when he pulled her against him again," Nope you will just have to put it on tonight before we leave." She answered softly.

Zach looked over at her," Of course I do things for myself.." He said," just for saying that I should push you off your seat but I'm pretty sure you would hate me for that."

He smiled for a moment,"Yess.."he said. "Do they have the dressy pants here...?"he asked feeling dumb after asking, he was surprised they had what he needed anyways. It looked like a 'casual' clothing store for 16 year olds, not something nice for 19 year old Jordan to wear to his induction ceremony.

She laughed a little,"Nah, I wouldn't hate you. I would just have to get you back."she said looking at him with a wink.

She laughed for a little bit before pulling him a little further into the store," Of course they do silly," she answered still giggling. She didn't say anything more as she picked out some pants for him.

He chuckled softly," Oh fine... Then I suppose I should be scared of you." He said poking her side gently

He nodded,"Ok...I was just asking babe."he said. He looked at the pants, and checked the size. "Those should fit."he said. "Ready babe? Do you need anything in here?"he asked.

She smiled and jumped when he poked her side. "Hey.."she said, "You wanna go?'she asked in a playful mood.

She smiled up at him," I know I'm just teasing you." She answered. Gracie shrugged a little, "No I don't not here just at the shoe store over there." She said

Zach turned to her a little," Are you sure about that?" He asked grinning

He nodded,"Alright."he said going up the counter, he grabbed his wallet paying with a somewhat sigh. He looked back at Gracie grabbing the bag with his clothes, "Alright, let's gooo."he said.

she rose a brow and smirked,"Yeah. I'm 100% positive."she said

Gracie smiled at him," Alright let's go before you die from shopping," she said laughing a little and grabbing his free hand.

He grinned," Well fine." He said starting to reach for her

He smiled and laced their fingers together. "What are you wearing tonight?"he asked curious.

She smiled and grabbed his arm and pinched it smiling at him.

She smiled," It's a surprise... You can wait a few more hours." She answered pulling him along with her.

He laughed, but said," Ow," he grabbed her around the waist," That wasn't nice little girl."

He narrowed his eyes at her and gave her a playful look. He rose his eyebrows,"Well..seeing the shoes is just gonna throw me off."he said leaning in to kiss her cheek.

Kelsy turned her head and laughed,"Whatever!"she leaned back into him for a moment. "We should go swimming today."she said looking at the counter randomly.

Gracie giggled," I know but you still don't get to know," she said walking into the store with him,

Zach looked down at her and shrugged," Sure we can do that." He answered

He smiled and followed her. "This is all about you babe." he said immediately going over to a bench where he sat and pulled out his phone.

She shook her head,"Sorry that was random."she said she smirked and stuck her leg behind his moving hers, it an attempt to trip him.

She looked over at him," Oh fine stay there." She said walking into the store after kissing his cheek," I'll be back in a little bit." She said

He chuckled," It's alright I'm pretty used to it now." He said though not moving much when she tried to trip him

He sighed and watched her walk away for a moment. "Ok, well...I'll be here.'he said as he opened up a random app.

She looked up at him,"Really?"she wiggled out of his arms and stuck her foot behind his pushing him a little bit. Obiously it wasn't working. She stood there for a moment,"Wow...I fail at tripping apparently."she said.

Gracie looked back at him and smiled as she walked around the corner. She already knew what shoes she wanted so she wasn't gone long. After she paid she walked right back out of the store and sat next to Jordan.

Zach watched her struggle to trip him laughing the whole time," Well you are a little smaller than I am."

Jordan smiled seeing Gracie walking towards him. "Wow, that was pretty fast."he said smiling. He grabbed her waist and pulled in her in for a quick kiss before he let her go and grabbed her hand again. "Anything else you need or want from the mall?"he asked stretching a little hit.

Kelsy smiled, she loved when Zach laughed, and smiled at that. She sometimes just wanted to be abel to kiss him, but that sounded bad...or at least she thought considering he was her best friend. Kelsy said,"Sooo...size doesn't matter!"she said, though...under certain circumstances it did.

Gracie nodded," Yup I know but I already had my shoes picked out." She answered smiling as he pulled her close and kissed her. " Um not that I can think of." She answered holding his hand in hers

Zach grinned at her as she stood in front of him. Sure right at this moment she was so cute that he just wanted to kiss her and tell her how he felt about her, but of course he never said anything. He crossed his arms over his chest," I'm pretty sure right now is one of those times." He answered laughing

"Thank god." he muttered as he grabed her hand and walked out to the lower level to where they parked. He got in the car and started it,"What else do we need to do?"he asked looking voer at her.

Kelsy looked up at him and laughed,"I guess." she said. She was pretty short,"How tall are you exactly?"she asked standing at his back,"Hey mom how much taller do you think Zach is than I am?"she asked.

Gracie giggled softly as she walked out with him. " Well I have to get my dress from my mom's house and my younger sister wanted to fix my hair for later." She answered as they walked to the car.

Zach chuckled as she walked behind him," I'm 6'2." He answered as he get her against his back. Her mother laughed," Kelsy, he is quite a bit taller than you."

He nodded,"Ahh, so do you want to go to your house first, or last or what? I know we have lunch with my parents, but we can canel that if you want to. What time did you want to start getting ready for tonight?" he asked starting the car.

Her mouth fropped open,"Really? You're a whole foot taller than I am!"she said. "i never thoughtyou were that tall!"she said with a surprised smile.

She shook her head a little, "We can still have lunch with your parents. We can go to my house afterwards and it shouldn't take long for Katie to do my hair." She said with a cute little shrug.

He laughed outright and turned around to face her, "Have you ever really stood next to me long enough to see how much taller I am than you?" He asked still laughing at her expression

He looked over at her and smiled, he was a grateful man to have he in his life. He put on his seatbelt, and pulled out of the space,"Alright. Are you sure?"he asked. "I mean, we will see them tonight."he said as he pulled away from the parking lot,"Oh and is your parents comming tonight?"he asked accelerating.

Kelsy stood there,"No....I guess not."she said. She looked up at him,"I guess I'm just used to it. When I hug you do I uaully stand on my tippy toes?"she asked. "Tall people are better anyways. I wish I was tall."she said randomly.

She smiled back as she put her seatbelt on. Gracie nodded, "Yeah it's fine." She answered. "I know but we can still have lunch with them I don't mind." She went to look out the window, "Umm.... I think they were planning on coming."

Zach laughed still, " I would say so if you don't notice. Ahhhh I don't know, I don't pay attention to that." He said answering her question. " Not always." he muttered

He nodded,"Oh ok."he said Jordan liked her parents, especially her father because he was a wise man, and trusted Jordan, AND gave him a chance. Jordan hasn't always been the best but it was Gravie's dad who really trusted him to do the right thing.

She rose an eyebrow,"Well why not?"she asked.

Gracie reached over and grabbed his hand," Besides daddy wants to see you again before you leave," she said

Zach looked down at her," You don't have to watch and worry about hitting your head on things."

He smiled a little,"Ok."he said paying attention to the road.

She smirked a little,"Really? People think I'm 12 when they see me from behind. At least they know your not a child."she said smiling triumphantly.

She smiled back and held his hand as they want to his parents house.

Zach laughed a little," Alright you got me there. I guess you do kind of look like you are 12." He said teasingly

He soon pulled in the driveway and shut the car off. "You ready?"he asked.

She smiled a little making a pouty face to 'play along'

She nodded," yeah I am." She said. Gracie really did like his parents and got along with his brothers mostly.

He grinned just a little," Well you are the one who said it."

Jj got out of the car and wauted for her as always. He stood by her side and wrapped his arm around her waist. He smiled as he walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. He pulled her left side even closer to her right side as he heard dogs barking and someone comming the the door.

She smiled,"Yeah, I know."she said. Just then Kelsy's mom finished making breakfast for them. She made them each a plate of food and smiled, going upstairs to get ready for her day. Kelsy sat back down and began eating,"Mmmm..."she said taking her first bite.

Gracie got out of the car tucking her phone into her pocket. She put her arm around him as they walked up to the door. She smiled a little as he pulled her closer to him hearing the commotion coming from inside the house.

He shook his head a little, "So you can't be mad at me for agreeing with what you said." He commented. He smiled his thanks at her mom as he sat down to eat too. Zach nodded agreeing with Kelsy, "Mmmhmmm." He said after chewing and swallowing.

Jordan's older broker Mikey came to the door. He smiled at them,"Hheyy guys."he said as he opened the door and stepped back. He slapped Jordan's hand and then briught him in for a hug, "What's up man?"he asked.
Jordan smirked and did the same to Mikey,"Hey,were just stoppin in to have lunch with mom and dad."he said stepping back a little.
Mikey smiled and nodded,"Hey Gracie."he said. "C'mon guys moms in the kitchen making something, I dont know what though."

Kelsy didn't talk much while she ate, she just ate. "Hey Zach?she asked pausing for a moment,"Will you come with me to my next doctors appointment?" She glanced over at him as she sipped some water.

Gracie smiled as Mikey opened the door. She watched the two siblings with a little smile. "Hey Mikey." She said greeting him

Zach was content to eat in silence with his best friend. He looked over at her when she said his name, "Yeah?" He said nodding a little at what she asked him, "Of course I will.... Just tell me when."

Mikey smiled and waved his hand towards him,"Come here girl, I want a hug too."he said with a smile. He brought her in for a hug and patted her back,"How are you guys?"he asked as they took off their shoes.

Kelsy nodded,"Thank you."she said. She was very grateful to have him in her lufe, and as her best friend. She looked over at him sighing somewhat sadly.

Gracie giggled a little and went to hug him, "I guess I kind of figured you would." She said still laughing a little. As she walked into the house with Jordan and Mikey she shrugged a little, "We're fine... How are you?" She asked.

Zach smiled at her a little, "You're welcome." He said softly. He took a drink of water hearing her sigh, "What's wrong?" He asked

He smiled,"Fine, busy with work, but you know."hr said with a shrug. They made their way into the kitchen and Jordan smiled running up to his mom hugging her tight. "Mom!"he said happily, he lived being with his family.

She looked at him,"Just....don't want to be sick, and I don't like it."she said. She put her head on his shoulder,"At least I have you thougj."

Gracie walked to the kitchen behind the two much taller boys. She nodded a little and smiled seeing how happy Jordan was since he walked through the door to his old home. She smiled at him mom letting him have his time with her.

Zach looked over at her," Kels don't go borrowing trouble, but I'll try to understand what you are going through." He said wrapping his arms around her

""Jj!"his mother exclaimed as she hugged her son back. She rubbed his back and then let him go,"Gracie!"she said with a smile walking over to the girl with her arms wide open and her smile lit brightly. "How are you darling? I feel like it's been forever!"she said.

Jordan walked over to his dad who stood off to the side,"Hey dad."he said with a hug.

"Hi son."he sat hugging him back, giving his back a nice pat. "Today's the bug day huh?"he said softly.

Kelsy took a deep breath and nodded. "That's all I can ask for."she said. "I'm sorry, this is just new to me, and it's hard sometimes. It's a touchy subject."she said wrapping her arms around his side, just as he did to her.

Gracie smiled and hugged his mom," Hi and yes it seems like it's been forever and a day. How are you?" She asked. She loved spending time with Jordan's family. They all treated her like part of their family and she loved it.

Zach held her close to him," Hey don't worry about it.. This is going to be new to all of us. ."

His mother smiled and put a hand on Gracie's shoulder,"I am just fine darling, what about you? Are you ok? Are you sad?"she asked being mostly serious know.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Gracie smiled just a little and shrugged, "I'm not really sad yet, but I'm alright." She answered softly so Jordan wouldn't hear, " I don't think it's really hit me that he's leaving tomorrow morning, yet."

He held her tightly, but not enough to hurt. He was glad he could be there if she needed him
