This was Yancey and Juans story set 10 years after they first met as teenagers. They have been mentioned or appear in the previous books over the years so we knew they were still interested in each other but pursuing there own dreams. I liked that this started off straight away with Yancey moving to be with Juan and we got to see how the settled in together and that they still were in love with both each other and their careers.

Review: I am really liking this fast paced series.

The latest: track down a missing were pureblood and return her to her sister. The problem: Regan Garrett has no intention of complying.

Well it's pretty easy to write a review for this one. I love this book! I loved Conrad Wroth, even though he drinks from the vein, and is probably going mad and is an assassin on top. Everything that has been the opposite of our heroes, but Conrad is just so endearing, and he is the only one who can see Naomi. Naomi is a ghost since she was killed by her ex-fiancee, until Conrad no one has been able to see her or hear her. They seem to be saving each other, Naomi is bringing him back from madness and Conrad relieves her of her loneliness. Naomi and Conrad definitely are one of my favorite couples. This book had a lot of characters back from the previous books and I like Nix more and more. I am looking forward to reading Cadeon's book.

Review: This was more of a PWP than I was expecting, but still had a sweet resolution and enough character evolution to keep me interested. It was a matter of waiting it out to see when Cam would realize what he wanted. It was fun, and a good intro to M/M romance (because I don't think Lover at Last counts).

Book: Fatal Deception by Marie Force

Rating: ★★★
Review: In the fifth book in the Fatal series, Sam has to solve yet another gruesome murder, find a missing baby, and deal with one of her dad's old cases. At the same time, Nick's political career is heating up. I really enjoyed this book and looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

Review:I really like this series and I'm so glad it sounds like there will be more of these books....
I’ve battled the Reapers of Chaos before–and survived. But this time I have a Bad, Bad Feeling it’s going to be a fight to the death … most likely mine.
Yeah, I’ve got my psychometry magic, my talking sword, Vic–and even the most dangerous Spartan on campus at my side, in Logan freaking Quinn, but I’m no match for Loki, the evil Norse god of chaos. I may be Nike’s Champion, but at heart, I’m still just Gwen Frost, that weird Gypsy girl everyone at school loves to gossip about.
Then someone I love is put in more danger than ever before, and something inside me snaps. This time, Loki and his Reapers are going down for good … or I am.

Book: Fatal Mistake by Marie Force
Series: Fatal #6
Date finished: March 28, 2014
Rating: ★★★
Review: Lt. Sam Holland has another high-profile case to solve. One of D.C. Federals' star players is found murdered after he makes a mistake that costs the team a chance at the World Series. I though this was a great addition to the series, and I like how the book focuses on both Sam's and Nick's careers as well as their home life.

Book: Dead Beat by Jim Butcher
Series: Dresden Files #7
Finished: 3/30/14
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
After 7 books, I keep hoping things will get easier for poor Harry Dresden, but they just don't. I liked the action, particularly with the zombie Sue at the end!! But there are consequences heaped on every choice Harry must make, and he never has easy choices in the first place. Can't the guy catch a break? I think I need to put this series on hold before it frustrates me so much that I don't want to read it any more.

Book: Parting Shot

I really wasn't looking forward to reading this one because Aaron hasn't exactly been a nice character although we did start to see him change in the last couple of books. I actually enjoyed his character a lot more than I though especially when he was with Duncan, I guess thats what he needed.

Series Book 7

Review:
Another great book in the series. Jake Robinson is a great hero. He is unique because he is quite older than the other characters in the book and there is age difference between him and the heroine, Zoe. We know of Jake Robinson from book 6 and the love of his life had passed away. I really wanted him to have a happy ending and I was so happy with this book. Zoe and Jake are pretending to be married while they are in search of deadly biochemical agent that had been stolen. Zoe, an agent has had a crush on Jake for the longest time and spending so much time with him led from like to love. Jake fights his attraction to Zoe, because he feels guilty about falling for another woman and the age difference. I loved the story and the author handled the age difference issue really well, and it didn't feel like reading same old same old story. It had an interesting aspect which made the series feel like new.

If anybody is up and wants to roll at that time go ahead, i'll check when I wake up either way.

Or there is always another book, I will see what I have.

I am going back and forth between 4.5 or 5 stars for this book. I loved it that we got back to Bowen, because I have felt so bad for the guy since the first book he was introduced in and I was really bummed at the last book's ending for him. Sadly, my sympathies didn't stay with him throughout this book though. He acted like such a jerk at times to Mariketa. This time I can honestly say that I really liked this heroine, as she stood up to Bowen for acting like a jerk. I can't wait to read the next one.
