Hina (hinaj) | 514 comments This probably is the easiest one for me, usually I have to change around my reading list to make sure I can read the book in time, but this time I don't have to do it at all.

I am going to read: Nobody's Baby But Mine (Chicago Stars, #3) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips which is 3rd in series.

Sue Morris | 1095 comments Week 3: Spot No. 33
This is a 3rd in series...
Book:Private L.A. by James Patterson
Date Finished:3/1/2014
Rating: 5 stars
Review: I really enjoyed this book. But what can I say, this is one of my favorite authors.
Private Jack Morgan investigates the disappearance of the biggest superstar couple in Hollywood.

Thom and Jennifer Harlow are the perfect couple, with three perfect children. They maybe two of the biggest mega movie stars in the world, but they're also great parents, philanthropists and just all-around good people.

When they disappear without a word from their ranch, facts are hard to find. They live behind such a high wall of security and image control that even world-renowned Private Investigator Jack Morgan can't get to the truth. But as Jack keeps probing, secrets sprout thick and fast--and the world's golden couple may emerge as hiding behind a world of desperation and deception that the wildest reality show couldn't begin to unveil. Murder is only the opening scene.

I liked getting back to this world I didn't enjoy the wolf army story line as much but liked Scarlet and Wolf and the setting of France. It was nice having different story-lines going on as well, Cinder and Thorne together made me laugh, i'm looking forward to seeing more of all of them and how it all turns out after the ending of this one.

Bloodstream by Tess Gerritsen

Book: Bloodstream by Tess Gerritsen
Series: Medical Thrillers #3
Date finished: March 4, 2014
Rating: ★★★
Review: The third book of the Medical Thrillers series focuses on Dr. Claire Elliot who has just opened up a new practice in the small town Tranquility in Maine. Weird things start happening in town and Claire is the only one that seems to notice that something is wrong. I thought this books was great. It kept me guessing until the last chapter how all the weird events were connected.

Hammered (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #3) by Kevin Hearne
Series: Iron Druid Chronicles #3
Rating: ★★★
Finished: 3/5/14
Review: This is my least favorite in the series, but I love Atticus so much that I can't give him less than 3 stars. The humor was on point, the action was great, but too much of this book took place away from all of the beloved side characters. It didn't feel like Atticus was doing the right thing by going off on this major quest to kill Thor, even if he did promise Leif. The death and destruction that will continue to haunt him after this book just didn't seem worth it, which frustrated me as a reader.

Review:
I started out this book with a little prejudiced going by GR friends reviews regarding the heroine and what the precis said. The fact that Jane Darlington for all her smarts had to pull such a low trick to get pregnant was really off putting. And the reason she chose Cal Bonner was because she thought he was a dumb jock, and I was totally put off by her and her perceptions and I thought the story was going to be pretty much downhill from there just because I could not make myself like her. But then Cal Bonner also turned into this immature hero that even had me sympathetic to Jane. The reason I really ended up loving story was the dialogue between Cal and Jane was at time hilarious and so funny, I kept forgetting about how much I didn't like them. I loved the secondary story about Cal's parents and I loved Cal's grandmother. After reading this book, I guess it is still possible to dislike the MCs and still find the book that good, I am just glad it is a good book and worth the time to read it.

One of my favorite quote from the book: “I married a damned cereal killer”

The hero and the heroine are pretty creative with their threats, I have to add them in for my favorite quotes...I couldn't stop laughing while I was reading those parts, it was beginning to sound a bit absurd.

Review: This is a series I have been reading and enjoying....
In a world of shadows and dark, cosuming hungers, desire is the deadliest weapon...

For journalist Dylan Alexander, it began with the discovery of a hidden tomb, thrusting her into the center of a gathering storm of violence and secrets. But nothing is as dangerous as the scarred, lethally seductive man who rises from the shadows to draw her into his world of dark desire and endless night.

Fueled by pain and rage over a shattering betrayal, the warrior Rio has pledged his life to the war against the Rogues. He will let nothing stand in his way—least of all a mortal woman with the power to expose the entire vampire race. For an ancient evil has been awakened, and a stunning darkness is on the rise. Suddenly Dylan is powerless to resist Rio’s touch, even as she uncovers a shocking link to her own past. And now she must choose: Leave Rio’s midnight realm, or risk it all for the man who has shown her true passion and the infinite pleasures of the heart. . . .

Review: The fourth book in the Thunder Point series doesn't disappoint. It focuses on FBI agent Laine Carrington (who was briefly introduced in The Hero) who moves to Thunder Point to recover from an injury. She meets, and falls in love with, town mechanic Eric Gentry. I really like series like this one where each book focuses on a new pair of characters, while still following the characters from previous books.

Review: I'll admit that I was a bit distracted while reading this one, so I'm sure in a month or two I'll have completely forgotten everything that happened, but it was still an enjoyable read. I love Elle Chance, but was disappointed that her HEA from last book was disrupted in this one. I don't like rooting for couples only to have them immediately face all kinds of problems! There also wasn't quite as much fun action in this one, but it is a promising little series and I like the steampunk stuff, so I'll keep reading it as long as she keeps writing new entries.

Review:
This is the sixth book in the series. Jonas Callahan is the last of the Callahan brothers left single. Except that he loves Sabrina and she is pregnant and he thinks its someone else's child. Sabrina doesn't inform him and he does not ask, although everyone else has figured this out. It's funny how he courts Sabrina after figuring out that the baby is his and all his family's advice in winning her over. The ongoing mystery that has been going on since the beginning of the series has finally come to an end or at least the readers are in on it now which was interesting. Even if the books were not good, I would have read them just for the book covers, the babies are so cute in all of the books.

This seductive paranormal series continues with a brutal Highland werewolf and an exquisite young witch, adversaries with a blood vendetta between them.

Her breathless kiss haunts him...

Bowen MacRieve of the Lykae clan was nearly destroyed when he lost the one woman meant for him. The ruthless warrior grew even colder, never taking another to his bed—until a smoldering encounter with his enemy, Mariketa the Awaited, reawakens his darkest desires. When sinister forces unite against her, the Highlander finds himself using all his strength and skill to keep her alive.

His slow, hot touch is irresistible...

Temporarily stripped of her powers, Mari is forced to take refuge with her sworn adversary. It's rumored that no one can tempt Bowen's hardened heart, but soon passion burns between them. Though a future together is impossible, she fears he has no intention of letting her go.

No deed is too wicked for her seduction...

If they defeat the evil that surrounds them, can Mari deny Bowen when he demands her body and soul—or will she risk everything for her fierce protector?(less)

Elishia In case you haven't seen Jenne just posted this
I went and randomly selected some of the alternates from the alternate list and posted them under a spoiler tag in the alternate post of each team's thread (post 3 I think?). These will be the alternates for the win. I know we're not quite to that stage but it is getting closer to it.
So for the win you would have to read whatever spot you'd of landed on if the board went past 75 (i.e. on spot 72 and you rolled a 5 you'd be on spot 77 so it would be a 7th, 77th (does that even exist lol) or the alternate for spot 77).

Here's the alternates that are under the spoiler tag on your team's thread

76. Location: England
77. Title: W
78. 2013
79. Maybe
80. Location: New York
81. Title: D
82. 2005
