Book 6 in Allie Beckstrom series
Read: 2/25/14
Rating: 4 stars
Review
I really need to start reading the books in this series closer together so that I don't constantly have to play catch up. I love how complicated everything has become, with never knowing who's truly good or truly bad, but it makes it very hard for a series hopper like me to remember what's going on. That being said, once my memory was refreshed, the book was non-stop action. It seemed like Allie never got a chance to just sit down and take a break. So much is going on, including the search for Sedra, three convicts escaping from the Authority's secret prison, and an investigation of the Authority's leadership. Needless to say, Allie has a lot on her mind. I loved that this book included a lot of Shame and Terric, as I absolutely adore both of them. The ending left me a little worried about the future for Zay and Allie, but I'm very interested to see what happens next!

SO SO SOOOOO GOOD. I was a bit worried I wouldn't love it as much as I did the first one, but I needn't have. It was awesome! I really liked the inclusion of a certain character the had a minor part in the first book and the three brand new characters were really interesting. I'm dying to read the next one.

I didn't like this one as much as the first but it was still a good read. It's a little weird though, i liked Justin much more when we were in his head in the first book than I did seeing him through Mal's eyes in this book. However, I liked Mal more seen through Justin's eyes in the previous book than I did in his own POV in this book. Anyways, I'm wondering if every book will have a different narrator. I'm not really looking forward to Jenna and Cole's turns but I would like to hear from Bailey's point of view.

I still need to read #2 before I can get to #3....

Ok - must finish this so I'll be ready for 4 :)
Just an FYI

I'm up to book 3 in this series and this one is my 2nd favorite so far (#1 is just my all time favorite SB book). I love that the series gives us a new romance with each part and that it's about a character that we at least got to meet in the prior book and I especially love that we also get to see glances of the previously featured couples within the book as well.
Ever and Linc's story was very well written and so realistic that you could envision things happening as they were going on and you couldn't help but hope that all of their underlying issues would be resolved so the book could end on a good (and happy) note.

What a wild ride! Started a little slow, picked up & finished with bang. It's amazing how much trouble Rhiannon managed to get herself into and then tortured herself only to discover she has the tools to get out of it all along! There were a couple of bombshells along the way and a couple if moments when I thought 'why?!' but overall a great read.

Book # 3 of Black Ops, Inc
Finished 3/4/14
Rating: 3 - 3.5♥
Review: This is the third in the Black Ops,Inc (BOI) series by Cindy Gerard. Revolves around Crystal (Abbie's friend from book 2) and good time playboy Johnny Duane Reed.
Crystal is working the pit for a coworkers break at the casino she works at when she is approached by an asian man who tells her his boss is interested 'in having her for the night'. Things go downhill from there when she turns down Yao Long's "gracious" offer of being his whore. She ends up in jail when counterfeit money shows up on her watch at the casino and is then abducted from her apartment after she is bailed out by none other than Yao.
Johnny goes racing off to Jakarta to save her only to find that after he saved her - Yao has a high up general's daughter who has been missing for six months. Crystal of course will not be ordered home and wants in on the action of saving Dina. She always wanted to be a cop ~ she passed all the tests with flying colors but she couldn't pass the vision test (I thought this was odd to say the least)
Can the BOI boys save the day??
This one was just ok for me - I felt like it dragged in some spots ok in others. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for romantic suspense. Anyway - didn't hate it/ didn't love it. My last issue was at the end of the book - cops are sent to her house to check on her but they don't tell her why or what the danger was that they were checking on her was??!? Really seems crazy - "Hi ma'am - I was told to check and make sure you were ok" "Well have a nice day" Really - what the hell is that?? And this women who never shuts up or stops asking questions for the entire book - nope not one question of this officer....

Oh my God it was absolutely amazing. An incredible ending to the trilogy. I am completely blown away by how much I loved it. And the ending! I nearly died from the feelings it gave me. And as always I absolutely loved June and Day, but I felt like the other characters were written REALLY WELL in this one too. It was just amazing.

As much as I'm not enjoying the fatigue, I'm very thankful to not be nauseous 24/7 anymore, lol.

I'm due September 7, so I'm just getting into my 2nd trimester now. Had my OB checkup today, and everything is looking great. :)

I loved this book! It was such a great read and a very unique take on witches. I loved the Savannah setting and the twisty family drama. I am super surprised this was indie pubbed through Amazon instead of one of the big six; it was that good. I can't wait for the sequel.

Review: We met both Becky and Frank in book 1. Verbal sparks fly whenever they are together. Frank refuses to do anything about it as Becky is 'too young' in his eyes due to circumstances in his past. Then there is the lady who lives in Lincoln Park behind the red door that stands in Becky's way as well. I enjoyed this book - Frank and Becky are pretty funny together. The whole explanation for the girl behind the red door. hmmm- didn't work for me but I'm not the author..

I enjoyed this book, even though it was so not angsty like most of the books I've been reading lately. Weston is your typical high school jock not really ready to admit that he's looking for a good solid relationship and then there's Molly who's so far been able to keep guys at a safe distance.
Molly and Wes are so much fun to watch grow closer together, even though so many time Wes's jerk attitude threatens the chances of them being together!

Tossing up between 4 & 4.5 stars for this. I love, love, LOVE this series! The interplay between the characters is hilarious and they are flawed in real world ways. The conclusion to this series sees Sarah and dave trying to enjoy the quiet life but that's never going to happen! We see the return of many characters from previous books which I found 'convenient'. Can they cure the zombie plague from outside the government wall?

Review: This one was pretty slow until the 70% mark or thereabouts... Surprisingly so for a series ender. There was a lot of running around that didn't really pay off much in the end. I still enjoyed it, but I didn't quite get the wow factor this time. It's probably just me though; everyone else seems to have loved it so far. I just expected more after the doozy that was the third book. I did really like the epilogue though. I need to think on this one some more. It just didn't feel like a series ender.

I really enjoyed this one. It was kind of weird because I didn't really remember what happened in the first one, but once I started reading it, things came back to me. It helped that we were given some ideas as to who the characters were in the previous book. So I really enjoyed it and I found some of the things in this books kind of disturbing, what with the whole Scorpion thing. And that one scene at the party. Yeesh.

I really enjoyed being in Peyryn's head listening to her thoughts and observations unfold. It was amazing how quickly the book progressed even thought not alot seemed to happen. I found the scorpions freaky and Beliel's treatment of children, particularly Peyryn's sister, horrifying. Once again there was the cliffhanger ending leaving us all waiting for book 3!
