It's second in a series, but it shouldn't be a problem to read it as a stand alone. I've had a look at Wattpad, but I don't think the Kindle Select deal I signed up to allows me to share my material through other sites (unfortunately!).

So I created a folder for Self-Promotion so new authors can share content with us!
This way the authors can freely promote their work without fear of disturbing other members that may have no interest in knowing new books.

I mention in my review needing to adapt to the writing. That's not a bad thing necessarily. Every time I read Cormac McCarthy I have the same problem, but after diving in for a bit find the writing flows well.
The book is very much in a Grimdark vein. I'll have to read the next one - it is on my kindle reader and ready to roll.
Many thanks for reading, Chompa, and especially for taking the trouble to write a review. It was very interesting to hear that you found the writing taking some time to getting used to! Even if that, as you say, doesn't have to be a negative thing, I'll keep this in mind when I write in the future.
Speaking of which, I have been quite busy with life in general lately, but I aim to have some new titles in this series ready before long.

Glad to hear that you like Koholt! I have found that he is one of those characters that grows as you write them, even if you didn't plan it. I originally wanted to write something very conceptual, with several protagonists, but quickly found that it was more interesting to just focus on Koholt. I still haven't figured out what he really is capable of and what his limits are.
I see that both stories are very short and available to borrow for free with Prime. I'll check them out soon for sure!
Glad to hear, Andy! Hope you will enjoy them. I should have some time on my hands over the next months to finally write some new pieces of the story. It's mostly just for the fun of it, but nothing's better than when others get something out of it too!
