Next Book(s) on my List
Currently reading Postscript from Pemberley. Not too sure about what is next on my list, as it keeps changing!
Why is it harder to decide what to purchase when I have a gift card? Sigh. Anyway, I'm going to buy either City of Bones or The Lightning Thief. But once I'm in the store...
I think next for me will either be White Stone Day by John MacLachlan Gray or In the Half Light by Anthony Lawrence.
Though I have made a vow that until I have no more than 2 TBR's on myshelf I will not go into another book store..... Lets see how I go.

Gorky Park by Martin Cruz Smith
Polar Star by Martin Cruz Smith
The Night's Dawn Trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton

I read Gorky Park so many years ago. I remember it being about KBG and defection , but that is about it.

Handle With Care
I am presently reading Lavender Morning. It is fast, humorous read. Enjoying the main characters and the story line. Just what I needed this week.
I have a lengthy shelf on the counter in my hallway that is stuffed with unread books. I will strive to make a substantial dent in them this year. However, I have decided to re-read Earlene Fowler's series of mystery stories. I love her writing style, and enjoy the development of her characters. So I will read a new book, then a Fowler book than a new book... My first book of 2010 was Hardball by Sara Paretsky, next new book I haven't decided yet.
My New list is:1.
2. Paulo Coelho: A Warrior's Life - The Authorized Biography currently reading
3. Sleep No More
4. Extras
5.The Angel's Game
Almost finished with One for the Money.next up will be 2-5 of the series then ill need to hunt down, or just buy, the 6th one.

I recently read One Thousand White Women and really enjoyed the book. Fast read - thought provoking - interesting subject
I just started Almost Like Being in Love by Steve Kluger, but following that, I have these books lined up:Up High in the Trees: A Novel by Kiara Brinkman
People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
I'm not sure which one I'm going to pick up after I finish the one I'm on, because all of them look wonderful. Am thinking it's going to be People of the Book, because it looks the most fitting to my tastes right at the moment. But that could change with a moment's notice, and I've heard Nineteen Minutes is phenomenal.
The next up for me is .... Bleak House by Charles Dickens and..
Wuthering Heights
Normally, I don't plan them out, but as I checked these out from the library they do have a bit more priority then the other lurkers of the TBR piles that I try to make look presentable around the house.
I have tried vowing never to buy another book until the TBRs are all read, but it never works... sigh...

Both People of the Book and Nineteen Minutes are quite good in different ways. One is more emotional and one is more historical. However they both leave you with.... well you will find out.
Finishing up the last half of The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe! Next up on my list is a book I won here on Goodreads Evensong by M.L . St. Sure!
I just picked up Dominick Dunne's new (and last, unfortunately) novel, and I'll be reading that after I finish An Irish Country Girl.
Right now I'm reading Postcards from No Man's Land. Next, I'll read Memoirs of a Geisha. Then Lock and Key.
Next up for me is Catching Fire which I hope to pick up from the library tomorrow. I also want to start a new audio book in the car but will have to see what they have.
The next book on my list is The Paris Vendetta by Steve Berry..... It just came in at the library and soon I will leave the deserts of ancient Egypt to go the the streets of Paris!!! Are books the best! There are so many places to go and stories to read. 8>)
My next book will be: Rebecca by Daphne du MaurierThe Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larssen
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
James Patterson - Hide and Seek
My next up is Horns by Joe Hill.
Then I will be reading the following:
The Resurrectionist
Totally Killer

I just finished the two Daniel Silva books on the shelf today so now it's between Wilkie Collins's The Woman in White and Nicky Pellegrino's The Italian Wedding. I think I'll go for Collins since it's been on my shelf longer, lol. =)
I have got to read The Woman in White one of these days. My friend swears that it's the best book ever.
james pattrson hide and seek is my next book and then alone came a spider
My next book is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. Than I plan on reading the ones I mentioned previously in message 591 in no particular order.
Kafka on the Shore is waiting on my bookshelf.
Wish I could get to something on this list. Sounds inviting.

I read Kafka on the Shore last December. I really liked it. My first Murakami but certainly not my last.

This is turning out to be a very good book. This book is over 60 years old and as timeless as ever. The breakdown of a marriage and why.
I can't decide between The Hours by Michael Cunningham or The Shipping News : A Novel by Annie Proulx. Anybody read both and can point me the right way?
LOL, already changed the list. I'm reading Four Spirits: A Novel, after reading the fantastic The Help.
The next books on my tbr list are probably going to beThe Little Stranger
Blacklands
Sacred Hearts: A Novel
There is a book club starting on tv over the next few weeks in the Uk and I'd like to try and follow it. I have just reserved all the books from the library.
Well, I finished
The Gargoyle
which I liked very much. Reminded me so much of Chuck Palahniuk's books that I really, really should read some. But I have too many library books to ignore so next up is
The Hunger Games
.After that, it's either Archangel by Robert Harris, The Tenderness of Wolves: A Novel by Stef Penney, or Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
So I hear, Bhumi :) I would start it right away but it's 2 AM and I have school tomorrow so it'll have to wait.
Whoops, sorry! Get some sleep; it's always better to read with a fresh and therefore inquisitive mind.
