James grinned. "Great. It's a plan then." He smiled gently down at her, wrapping his hand around hers.Sam reached out a hand and grabbed his. "Right here."
Sam did a spell that would remove any other spells or curses that may be on him. "Did that work?"
"Yeah." She smiled up at him."No." He whispered. He grabbed her hand. "I can't see what happened who did this?" He asked.
James grinned. Sam shook her head, "I-I don't know..."
She was happy."Sam where are you"
He smiled and looked down at her, "So, I should probably go get ready and stuff..." he looked into her eyes, "I'll see you tonight?"Sam hugged him. "I'm right here Danny. I'll always be here." I hope...
"Yes you should." She smiled and blushed. "Would this count as a date or something." She asked smiling. "Will James be able to do something?" He asked. "I'm sorry I thought you were upset with me cause you left"
James thought for a moment, "Yeah... I think so." He smiled."I don't know..." Then she swallowed hard, "It's not that... its... just..."
"Ok I'll look my very best." She smiled."It's what please keep talking I can't lose you" he plead.
James grinned, "Then I shall try to as well."Sam hugged him, crying. "I-I can't. I'm not allowed to or else...they'll..."
She blushed. He hugged her back. "Did whoever your talking about did this to me?"
James smiled a little when he saw her blush. "Until then." He said, taking off and flying away to get ready."I-I don't know. They shouldn't have. They said it would only be a day before..." She clapped her hand over her mouth. "I wasn't supposed to say that.
She thought for a moment what was going to go on. She teleported to Sam she could help. She knocked on the door. "Hey Sam I need your help." She said."What Sam before what?" He could feel her hand anymore. "Sam where are you." He whispered.
Sam hugged him tightly. "I'm right here! They shouldn't be taking you! They said they wouldn't take you, only m-" She stopped herself. When she heard Callas voice she said. "Come in. Can you help me first? Something is wrong with Danny..."James flew around, trying to decide where he should set up their meal.
She nodded. She opened the door. She could sense something was off. "Ok he's wrapped in a cover of dark magic. Sam do you know who would do this. I can't take off but James can because he is an angel. I need to know so we could stop whoever. ""Sam" he whispered holding her tightly. "I can't see you Princess" he whispered.
Sam cried against him. "I'm right here." She looked up at her. "They aren't evil, I promise. I don't know why they would use dark magic, but I can't tell you who it was or they'll... they'll..." She started trembling.James found a nice spot in the garden and started to set up a table for them.
"I can't help him or you unless if I know who. If you dont want to tell me that's fine. If doesn't ware of which it won't. I'll have James come up here. He won't be able to help you unless if you tell him either. So whatever it is it must be pretty important." She said.Danny was trembling. "What the color of you hair baby. I can't see it"
Sam was crying harder now. "My hair is red Danny, it always has been." She mumbled, before blurting. "It's the starlighters, my family, more specifically my father, they're going to-" Sam had disappeared.James had no idea what was going on upstairs. He just kept setting up, happy and unaware.
"Sam?" Calla couldn't sense her."Sam where are you Sam?" He couldn't feel her. "Sam I can't see you. Did I do something wrong Sam?" He had tears coming down his face.
James help please something happened. The starlighters took Sam and made Danny blind
"Sam's alright Danny they just took her."
James flew up immediately. "What? I thought they were good guys!" he waved his hand over Danny to take off what was making him blind."You said he had a day!" Sam screamed at her father.
"Yes, well that time ran out when you told him."
Sam shook off the people who were holding her. "You promised!" She shouted at him.
Her father looked sad. "I'm sorry Sam but this is for your own good."
"What?" Sam asked, confused.
The starlighters started to drag her towards a star and she realized what was happening. Her eyes widened and she struggled, "No! No you can't do this! You didn't give him enough time! Please, Dad, don't do this to me!"
Her father just shook his head sadly, watching as the starlighters shoved his daughter into a star and sealed it.
"I have an idea yes another risky one. So anyways what the starlighters just did broke their laws and ours. We have the right to punish them. So James and I will go you stay because Zeus won't be a happy camper if he finds out the starlights broke his agreement to. The one thing is we will get her out."Danny nodded his head.
James nodded slowly, "So what are we going to do when we get there? Starlighters are very powerful, especially in their own home..."Sam went into a state of dormancy almost immediately as the change occurred. Her body died and she shed it's shell, her true starlighter form, which was pure light, was all that was left. They let her out again and Sam immediately collapsed, crying.
"Now that is no way for you to behave." her father reprimanded.
Sam just shook her head and cried. "You just ruined my life forever." She muttered. Starlighters can not go back to earth once they have lost their bodies, so what had just happened to Sam, was the equivalent of her dying.
"Yeah well I have a secret that I never ever told anyone or said to anyone at all because I'm already wanted so why make myself more wanted." His heart cracked. "Hurry guys."
"I have more power than I let on two. I just haven't how do I say developed all of my powers yet. Anyways beside that I can tap into others powers for a while and actually take them if I want to."
James nodded. "So what can you do to help Sam then?" he asked, interested in her plan.Sam was sobbing on the floor. If she couldn't return to earth, that meant she wouldn't be able to see Danny for a long while.
"Hmm well I could A get help and destroy the starlights B try compromising or C go back in time. I'm up for any them." Danny watch with interest
"Let's try talking."
James nodded, "I agree. A full fledged massacre would probably not help our cause, and going back in time can have complications." He pointed out.Sam had curled up. If she couldn't see Danny, she didn't want to live. She didn't have much of a choice in that matter though, as she was immortal now. So she closed her eyes and sent herself into hibernation.
"Yeah but we will have to resort to those if need be. Danny don't do anything stupid." She grabbed his hand. "Ready?" She smiled. She looked at him. She teleported into her Princess attire. "I'm ready to go get my friend back." Danny nodded slowly.
James nodded. "Ready. You'll have to do the teleporting, as I don't have that power." He said, smiling.Sam's eyes started to glow and her body raised horizontally off the ground as she went into a permanent state of sleep.
"Ok." She smiled and teleported to there. "One question who do you guys think you are breaking the law?"
Sam's father looked up. "We are breaking no laws. The law gives us the right to do unto our own as we please." he said simply.Some other elderly starlighters nodded in agreement.
"Correction it doesn't have you guys checked the laws since my mom and dad were charged. Yeah well they changed that because it can be consider cruel and unusual punishment if the people abused that right. Anyways she has to be FULL starlighter too she's a hybrid. "
Her father shook his head. "Not any longer. She is a true starlighter now. Her body is no more." he said, motioning to Sam who looked like a floating human-shaped lightbulb.(( lol XP))
James just stared, "So what happens now?"
"You guys don't seem to get this concept so let me break down in terms you understand first off harming someone isn't acceptable and using your magic as dark magic is against both of your laws so we could get this and reverse it or I will turn it into Zeus or my king will go to the other angels. So pick your poison."
"You know as well as I do that what has happened to her can not be reversed, so why do you even suggest that it can?" He shook his head, "If you wish to try, be my guest, but it is a pointless waste of effort and energy."
"You see you and I both know anything can be reversed. So I wouldn't go there. Your running out of time you do realize. You chose between us or them. I would chose us. What would you chose James."
Sam's father stayed emotionless. "I stand by my statement."James looked over at Sam. "I think he's right Calla, she doesn't have a body anymore." He whispered.
"Fine I'm going to turn you in for violating the laws multiple times. So your time is running out. As I said before it can be reversed because if it can't then this wouldn't happen." She destroyed his body pouring the light out. All was left was light. "So you could tell me how to fix Sam or I could do this over and over again to you."
Sams father stood still, not saying anyhing. James just watched, not sure what to do.
Finally, sams father said, "im sorry, her body is gone. She would need a new one to return to earth."
"Yeah hmmm I don't believe you. You know why because your body is gone and I know where it's because I hid as you did with her body so cough up where the body is" she was getting angry.
He just stared ahead. "I dont know what you are talking about." He said slowly.
"It's not nice to lie to anyone especially with an angel in the room. So you dont mind if I destroy your body. Also you hesitated before saying it. James can you tell me if he is lying."
James nodded. "He is."He scowled. "I dont know where her body is!"
"Thank you. So I'm thinking if you don't know maybe one of your friends know or maybe this will help for motivate you." She slowly took his light dulling him dramatically. "So tell me where the body is now or I will make you regret your decisions."
Sams father winced and gasped. "I wont..." he felt his light dim and his eyes widened. "In that star." He pointed.James nodded. "That was the truth."
"Good now go get it." She said. Looking at him. "Now."
He walked obediantly over to the star and retrieved sams body from inside. He carried it back to them and laid it on the ground. "There's the bloody body. Now leave." He said, scowling.
'Yeah there's the body but we need her soul to." She took a little more this time to cause him pain.
He shook his head. "The soul is right there!" He said, pointing to the glowing, sleeping form of Sam. "I would never take my daughter's soul."James nodded. "He's telling the truth."
She nodded her head and went over to Sam. She pushed her soul into her body. "Sam wake up please" she whispered.
Sam didnt respond, she was still in hibernation. James watched, a little worried. "So.... what do we do now? Is there a way to wake her up?"
"I can't tell" He paused. "Where are you." He asked.
