Sam looked up at him, "I'm sorry." She said softly. "I wasn't to worried though. I could take you on any day." She said, grinning. She was trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah Mmm before or after powers?" He ask giving her a smile.

"Yeah Mmm before or after powers?" He ask giving her a smile.

Sam laughed, "Both of course." She said cuffing him in the shoulder. She gave him a sly grin.

"Yeah I doubt that." He reached over there and tickled her side.

Sam shrieked and scrambled away from him, "No fair! No fair! I never would have told you my weakness if I thought you would use it against me!" She hid from him in the furthest corner of the room she could, panting. Then she leapt on him, pinning him backwards on the bed, "Ha, now you're my prisoner." She said triumphantly, "Told you I would win."

He rolled on over. Him now looking down on her. He started tickling her on her sides now."Me a prisoner it looks like your the prisoner." He said giving her a smile.

Sam laughed and wiggled around, trying to get out from under him, but she wasn't strong enough. He kept tickling her and she screamed, laughing so hard. "Ok, ok you win!"

"That's what I thought." He stopped tickling. "Has anyone told you your beautiful. If not you are." He looked in her eyes. He smiled at her.

Sam blushed, she looked up at him, "Why thank you. You're not so bad yourself." She grinned.

Sam grinned, "No problem." She looked at him for as long as it was socially acceptable, and then she look away awkwardly. "So now that you know my weakness, do you have on?" She asked.

"My weakness is you." He said with a big smile. He couldn't help but look at her. "Your my everything." He couldn't think of anything else to say.

"Awww, you're such a softie." Sam said, smiling. "Well, hmm, let's see, since you used my weakness against me, I wonder if there is a way for me to get back at you..." She said, grinning mischievously.

"Well you will have to see about that." He gave her a smile.

"Yes. We'll see." Sam's wheels were turning. She wanted to have a little fun. "Should we go check on Calla and Danny?" She asked.

"Yeah let's go check on them. Maybe they will play a game of chicken." He got up and held out his hand to help her up."Here you go Princess."

"Thank you." Sam said, taking his hand. She walked towards the kitchen with him. She would have to do it now. She thought hard about her nightmares and they came back to her. They attacked her mind and she gasped, falling to the ground. She moaned for effect, and closed her eyes, lying still on the ground.

Danny notice Sam on the floor. He was frozen with fear. He couldn't move. He just watch. He wanted to scream for help. His mouth was open. The color of his face turned pale.

It was all going well until Sam realized she couldn't stop the nightmare. It would not leave her mind, no matter how hard she tried. She moaned again, but it was real this time. Sam suddenly regretted her little plan very much.

Danny just stared. He couldn't do anything. He heard her moan. He just watched. He didn't know what was happening.

Something crackled around her, and suddenly, Sam felt herself floating. She was suspended in the middle of a force-field. She couldn't open her eyes, she could only see that nightmare over and over. She whimpered, shivering violently.

Danny heard what Calla said. He fell to floor. Just watching her. He couldn't move. Tears were coming down his face."No there has to be away." He needed her."Princess please come back."

Sam couldn't take it. This was the worst thing that could ever happen, and it was happening to her over and over. She curled up into a ball and cried. She was shaking, hard. "Stop! No!" She screamed.

Danny went over to her. He held her. "Please Princess it is ok." He kept whispering it in her ear. He couldn't do anything else. He was broken.

Sam couldn't hear anything but her friends', family's, and Danny's screams in her head. She shook her head, sobbing, trying to block out what was happening.

He leaned forward and kissed Sam."Please Princess I'm ok."

Pain shot through Sam. She had the sudden urge to lash out and defend herself. But against what? She couldn't see anything now, just darkness. She tried to stop herself, but her arm flung out and shoved something, she couldn't see what. Then the nightmare came back, attacking her mind. "No!" She screamed. She was shaking violently. "No, please no." She sobbed trying helplessly to make it stop. Listen to me Sam. A voice whispered into her head. The nightmares continued.

"Princess listen everything is ok." He leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

Sam could feel any more. She was numb from shock. She couldn't cry anymore, she could only sit there and watch as her worst nightmares came true. She was whimpering quietly like a wounded puppy. You want it to stop, don't you? Sam nodded numbly. I can stop it, but it comes with a price. "Name your price." She said aloud.

"Princess." He held her tightly. "Shh it's just a nightmare. I'm right here. I'm ok." He whispered into her ears.

Death. I could release you from this nightmare forever.
Sam thought about it for a moment. She was about to say no, when the voice spoke up again,
Sweet, blissful nothingness. No nightmares. None ever again. It promised her, the voice almost purring.
Sam couldn't take it the nightmares were worse than ever. She felt like crying, throwing up, screaming, and just giving up all at the same time.
Will you give me your life? It asked again.
Sam nodded, shaking. "Yes." She said, wanting anything to be free from this horror.
The dome immediately disappeared and she fell to the ground, a sigh escaping her lips.

She shook her head and her the scream. She grabbed James and teleported down there. She was gone. She fell to the ground.

Sam could feel herself drifting away from her body. She saw Danny on the ground beside her, and James and Calla running over to her. Her heart desperately wanted to stay. It was tugging her back to the ground. But something else was pulling her higher, further away from her friends. Don't let it take me. She thought.

She just stared. She could say anything. She started to cry.

Sam had halted. She wasn't moving anywhere now. Her body was powerful, and it wanted her back. It had a lot of Danny's power in it. But that thing. That thing with the dark voice, it wanted her. It was waging a war with the light. Part of Sam just wanted to give up, but the other part was fighting desperately to stay alive.

"S-she can't be gone. I can't lose Sam too." She crying very hard now.

The power in her body was fighting hard now. The darkness started to fight harder as well. It felt like she was being stretched between two people yanking on her. She felt like she was going to split in half. She screamed silently as pain ran up and down her spine. She was drifting slowly, very slowly back towards her body.

"Shhee can't be gone." She kept saying that to herself. She can't loose a friend."I can't loose a best friend."

Sam was moving faster now, but something was still tugging on her. She felt like she was going to be pulled apart. The sensation continued until she had almost reached her body. Then intense pain ripped through her as the darkness lost its grip on her. She gasped awake and immediately groaned, clutching her heart. She turned over, onto her hands and knees, the pain burning her on the inside. It felt like she had been stabbed in the heart. She gasped and fell over again, passing out from the pain.

She couldn't watch. "I-iiii have to g-go think somewhere." Truth is she wanted to cry her eyes out.

Sam was shifting in and out of consciousness. She was alive, but barely.

Danny was breathing slowly."Princess." He muttered.

Sam heard a voice. Her eyes fluttered open. She was staring up at the ceiling. There was so much pain. She turned her head slowly, "Danny?" She whispered. Then she remembered her nightmare. It added to her pain. She moaned, shivering.

"Princess." He muttered. He could hear someone talking, but who?

She was moving in and out of consciousness. That pain was still tearing at her heart. She arched her back against the ground. Sam couldn't take the pain, and she passed out again.

"Princess." He kept calling Sam out. He needed Sam.

Sam could feel the pain leaving her. But the nightmares were still there. Those could not be taken away by magic. She would have to push those away for the time being. She gasped and opened her eyes, staring up at Calla. Then she smiled. "Oh thank God it was just a dream. You're alive!" Then she looked over at Danny. "Can you help him too? I still don't have any energy in me yet."
Sam smiled, "I'm glad you found me too." She told him. "Even though you tried to kill me when we first met..." She said, remembering their first encounter. "And I'm pretty sure you wanted to kill me for quite a while after that as well." She remembered grimly.
