Once Upon A Time and Lara

James sighed, allowing himself to go to sleep.

Danny notice Sam was still sleeping. He decided to let her be. Whatever her nightmare was must of pretty badly scared her.

Sam stirred and woke up. She turned and saw Danny, "Hey." She said softly.

"Good morning Princess." He smiled. "How did you sleep?" He didn't want to hear about the nightmares. He was afraid of what they could be.

Sam didn't want to remember the nightmares. She looked down, "Ok. I guess." She said quietly.

"I'm glad Princess." He smiled at her.

Sam smiled back, but she was secretly worried. hopefully it doesn't happen again tonight. She thought.

"Are you hungry Princess?"

"Yes." She said thankfully, "Yes I am actually." She smiled.

"Come let's go make some breakfast." He grabbed her hand."Ready Princess?"

Sam nodded, walking to the kitchen with him.

"What do you want?"

Sam looked around, "Are there any eggs? Scrambled eggs sound really good right now." She said honestly.

"I said leave." He went flying and crashed in the wall. She pictured fire. Fire started to come closer to her Uncle. She felt it come to her.
"Yeah there is some eggs." He checked the fridge.

"Great." Sam said enthusiastically. "You do know how to make them, right Charming?"

"Princess I think I do. If you want me to make them I will gladly do so."

Sam smiled, "Well, since you offered..." She grinned. "If you want my help, I can give it."

"Ok." He got the bowl."So you cracked the eggs. Then you stir them." He did that. "Then you add seasonings. Do you want any seasonings?"

"Sure." Sam said, smiling. She enjoyed watching Danny cook.

He put in the seasonings. Then he turned on the stove top and placed the pan on a burner. He poured in the eggs. Soon after awhile they were done."Here is your breakfast my Princess." He said with a smile.

"Wow!" Sam said, "A gourmet cook all of a sudden?" She grinned taking the plate, "Thank you Charming." She said, grabbing a fork to start eating.

"Yes I am. I'm a Jack of all Trades." He said with a laughter in his voice. "Hope you enjoy."

Sam bit into the meal and grinned, "Love it! When did you get so good at cooking? Last time I checked you were reluctant just to cut steak..." She teased him.

"Well my love I don't know. At least the eggs turned out good." He gave her a smile."I'm glad you love it.

Sam grinned, "Yes, they are amazing." She finished her food and helped Danny clean up the dishes.

"Thank you." They were done cleaning up."What do you want to do?"

Sam had zoned out. She was daydreaming. Suddenly the nightmare came back. She began to sweat, and shiver at the same time. When it was over, she gasped and leaned against the table, "What?" She asked, realizing that he had said something.

"Princess are you ok." She looked awful. He went over to her and held her close."What happened sweetheart?"

Sam shook her head trying to clear it, "I'm ok." She tried to persuade him. "Just a nightmare." She was shaken up, but she didn't want Danny to worry.

"A nightmare. Princess do you want to talk about it?"He said softly.

Sam was quiet, "Not really. But I don't know if it is going to go away. I keep seeing my worst fear..."

"Ok,but it helps sometimes if you talk about it. That is what my parents said when I used to have nightmares of...." He couldn't finish his sentence.

Sam looked down, "I keep dreaming about you Danny, you were dead. And there was nothing I could do." Her voice wavered and she shuddered again. She was scared.

"I promise you I won't leave you. I won't die on you ok." He didn't want to tell her about his sister. She didn't need to know about that now.

Sam nodded slowly, "Ok." She said quietly. She wanted to believe him, but she was still nervous.

"Look at me Princess. I won't die on you." He held gently.

Sam nodded, leaning against him. She allowed her mind to forget her fear and focus on the moment. "I love you Danny."

Sam shook her head, she wanted to do anything but sit there and think about her nightmare, "I'm up for anything you can think of." She offered.

"How about that story I never gave you?" He asked her in a soothing voice.

"Sure." Sam said, brightening up considerably.

"Ok." He smiled and teleported them to there room.

Sam snuggled closer to Danny, eager to hear his story.

"So there was this little boy and he had a older sister. He used to follow her around. Then one day disaster struck. It was her first mission as a hunter. She got killed. The little boys parents told him he never had a sister. They tried blocking her out. The little boy had nightmares all the time. The parents were never the same. The little boy grew up angry. He would do anything to be away from his parents. The end."

Sam looked up at him, smiling sympathetically. "Very detailed story." She said, somewhat joking. Then she grew serious. "That little boy grew up to be a very handsome, softhearted, prince." She said gently, smiling up at him.

"Thank you." He said with a smile. He felt like he had a load off his shoulders.

"No problem Charming." She grinned. "Even though you can be a little stubborn at times..." She said, grinning and elbowing him gently in the ribs.
James was worried about Calla. He felt bad for watching that scary movie with her.
