James sighed, "Well that sounds like a very dreary existence." He huffed and slid his hands into his jean pockets. "Any way to take the curse off her?"Sam nodded, curling up against him. "Ok. I trust you." She said softly, feeling a little safer when she was in his arms.
"No." She whispered. She looked at him. She was nervous. "James I'm scared." She whispered in a love voice afraid of what will happen.He smiled. "Do you want breakfast?" He whispered.
James nodded and pulled her into a hug. He didn't know what would happen, but he was confident that they could figure something out. They always did... "It's ok honey. It'll all be ok."Sam nodded a little. "Yeah, that would be nice. I am kinda hungry." She smiled up at him.
She relaxed into his arms. "Ok." She whispered. She clammed down. She looked into his eyes. "Where did you get the shirt?" She whispered."Ok." He picked her up. "Ready for some good food." He asked smiling down at her.
James laughed. "Don't recognize it? It's still damp from you soaking it yesterday. Must have escaped the flames because it was wet." He said, shrugging.Sam nodded. Her eyes flashed red, and then back to blue. "Oh yes, I'm ready for food." she said, a slight hiss to her voice. Her eyes trailed down to his neck. Suddenly she jerked and her eyes widened. "Oh gosh. Oh no. Danny put me down! I almost hurt you!" She started to sob.
"How well we could arrange it to be burnt like the others." She said smiling. She forgot all of her troubles right the and there. "No but it's fine. I'm not letting you down." He whispered down at her caring her to the kitchen.
James grinned. "You are one sneaky lady I'll give you that much." He grinned, teasing her gently. "I would like to keep this one on thank you very much." He winked at her.Sam clung to him, hiding her face against him. "No danny, I don't want to hurt you. I very nearly did just now." She was shaking. "I don't know what is wrong with me..."
"Thank you." She smiled at him. She bit her lip and held her thoughts. "Why would you want a shirt on." She blurted out after awhile."It's fine." He whispered. "The lovebirds might know." He teleported them to them. "Your fine" he kissed her forehead. "Guys do you want to breakfast."
James smiled. "Descency, warmth. Besides, no one seems to appreciate me when it's off..." He said, rolling his eyes, "Or at least they haven't said anything." James looked up when Danny appeared. "Yeah, that would be great." He eyed Sam.Sam caught his stare and started trembling.
"Well I think the no-shirt rule should be affective soon." She said with a smile and kissed his cheek. She eyed Sam. "What's wrong." He asked them. "Shh baby it will be ok. Stop staring at her."
James didn't look away from Sam. "I think you should explain the situation Calla."Sam was staring at them wide eyed, she hugged Danny, suddenly nervous. "W-what is going on?"
"Last night there was three humans drained. We are looking for the suspect. It resembles the queens curse and they found reddish hair and starlighter power there. I didn't believe them so I checked it out for myself and it was you." She whispered. "Sam wouldn't kill anybody." He said anger voice. "And what is the queens curse?"
James sighed. "A vampire that is chosen to be queen goes bloodthirsty and rogue until they end up on the throne." He said honestly.Sam jumped out of Danny's arms and huddled against the wall. "My dream..." She said softly. "And me wanting to eat you. Danny..." She was shaking hard now, her eyes large with fear. "Kill me now." She begged.
"Sam would never do that. It was just a dream." He whispered down at her. He hold her tightly. "Your not getting to her." He glared.Calla looked at them. "I'll prove it too. I'm not going to have you talk to down to me that way. I am the queen and I never said anything about hurting Sam." She said.
Sam was shaking and sobbing against Danny. "They just said it was real. They said it was real! What if I did kill someone? What if I kill more people?" She froze. "What if... I kill you?" She backed away from him, eyes wide in fear. "Stay away from me Danny, I don't want to hurt you."James watched, worried. "So what do we do then?" He asked Calla nervously. He wasn't sure how to go about this at all.
He looked at her and started to shake. "So do you want to call the relationship off?" He whispered."Danny Sam don't do this." She said.
Sam was trembling, tears streaming from her eyes. "I d-don't want to hurt you..."James bit his lip. "What do we do now?" He asked, hurting for them both.
"So you want to leave?" He whispered softly hurting."Guys will figure something out." Calla said.
"No!" Sam cried. "Of course not! I don't want to hurt you... that's all." She said, crying. "I'm a monster..."James looked over at Calla. "So, do you have a plan then?"
"Ok then come over here." He said. "Your not going to hurt me." He looked at her."Yes." No
Sam nodded slowly. She walked back over hesitantly, looking up into his eyes.James sighed. We have to figure this out, and soon. Before it gets worse...
He smiled at her. "Don't leave me." He whispered.I know
She hugged him. "I won't." She whispered against his shoulder. "Not willingly any ways."He looked over at her. Any ideas on what we could do?
"That's good." He said looking down at her. She looked at James. "I'm scared." She whispered.
Sam's eyes flashed red again and she groaned, her hands curling into fists. "Danny... I-I can't do this. I can't control myself..."James nodded. "It'll be ok. I'm here for you, and we'll figure something out together."
((Gtg soon doctors appointment be back in a couple hours))"Yes you can." He whispered holding her to him. "I'm right here. I'm not going to lose you" he said to her.
"Yeah I know." She said looking at him.
((Ok I'll be here ;) ))Sam shook her head. "Well you will lose me if you're dead. Then I'll still be on earth and you'll be up in the stars. What then? I don't want you to die Danny. You can't die!"
James thought for a moment. "She has to be a vampire, to be queen right?"
((Back))"So what your saying is you want to leave me?" He asked.
"Yes but curse choses who it wants." She whispered.
((Yay :) ))"No!" Sam said exasperatedly. "I never want to leave you ever. That's why I don't want you to die!"
James nodded. "But if she was a starlighter, wouldn't she not be eligible any longer?"
"But if you stay away from me I die." He whispered."Yes but she tired it already and almost die." Calla pointed out.
Sam hugged him tightly, crying against his shoulder. "Then you need to be able to control me." She said softly. "Can you do that?"James nodded, sighing. "Yeah. I hand't thought of that." He ran his hand through his hair and huffed slowly. "Is there anyway to change her back without killing her? Why did she almost die last time?" He was going through the options, trying to figure out what to do.
"Yes I would do anything for you." He whispered holding her. "I can't live without you." He said."She didn't have enough energy. Maybe we could try it again but a different way. There has to be away to kill her vampire side and replaced with her starlighter side." She whispered.
Sam nodded, leaning her forehead against his shoulder. "You can't let me bite you. Ok?" She asked, knowing if she bit him, she wouldn't be able to stop herself.James nodded. "Hmmm. She didn't have enough energy?" He frowned, thinking for a moment. "I could kill her other half. But I don't know how well that would go. She would be half dead until it was replaced with pure starlighter." He said honestly.
"Ok." He whispered."That might not be a good idea either." She said. "There has to be way" She paused. "Oh brother dear you still oh me a favor come right here this minute." She said with a smile. "He is so glad he is dead." She said.
Sam nodded. "I love you. No matter what happens." She swallowed slowly. "I will always love you."Josh appeared slowly, his arms crossed. "I am not glad I'm dead thank you very much. You think you could take me down if I was solid?" He rolled his eyes. "Dream on sis."
James looked up at Josh and smiled. "Well I'm glad you came. We need your help."
He smiled and nodded."Well I think I could easily take you down dead or alive because I'm still mad at you. I mean I wouldn't be mad if you told me. I wouldn't of care if you told me I would of still married him but the point is you oh me big time." She paused. " either way how do you break the queens curse?""
Sam smiled. "So, are we still gonna have breakfast?"Josh rolled his eyes. "I don't owe you anything. You owe me, big time." He thought for a moment. "Queen's curse? As in the vampire one?"
James nodded. "Yeah, Sam's got it."
"Sams got it!" Josh frowned. "Well that isn't good for her. I don't know of a way off hand, but I'm sure there is... there usually is a fail safe on these types of curses anyways..."
"Yes we should." He whispered."I'm not going to comment on that." She said looking at him. "Correction I didn't ask you to save me James would made it to me and he would of healed me." She said. "Fail safe yeah I know does it look like I'm stupid?" She asked.
Sam nodded, walking with him to the kitchen. She frowned a little. "Suddenly I'm not so hungry for..." Her eyes widened. "Oh no. Danny, my starlighter side is diminishing. I don't even want food anymore!"Josh snorted, "Do you want me to answer that question?" He rolled his eyes.
James chuckled softly. "So do either of you know what this fail safe is?"
He looked at her. "It will be ok." He whispered holding her. "I promise." He said.She looked at him. She was hurt. He blamed her for his death. She held back the tears. "No James I don't know no one knows because no one broke it." She whispered.
Sam nodded a little, holding on to him. "But if I become a full vampire, there's no going back! They'll be nothing we can do, and once I die, I'll be dead dead, and I wont go up to live with you." She whispered, sobbing.James frowned. "You know how to break the fail safe Josh?"
He shook his head and frowned. "No. I have no idea. Sorry guys." He frowned for a moment, his eyes clouding. "The longer you wait, the harder it will be to stop this. Sam's already three quarters vampire now."
He looked at her shaking."no you won't die." He whispered. "If you die I'll kill myself and then I would feel no more pain of losing you." He said being dead serious.Calla couldn't think of anything. She thought over and over again. She had a really good idea but super risky for her at least Sam will be fine. She pictured Sam's power and put it all in her. Since dark energy is more powerful the curse then she will be ok for now.
Sam shook her head, shaking. "Please don't kill yourself. Please don't do that." She begged. "I don't want either of us to die."James watched her. "So wait, what happens now. If you have the curse in you, then it wont keep changing Sam into a vampire, while we try to figure out how to change Sam back, right?" James asked.
"Sam are you alright your eyes are black" he whispered. He felt energy coming off of her. He backed away little bit. "Sam you have a lot of dark energy coming off of you." Calla smiled to herself. "She'll be ok I have one more thing that I need to do. James promise you won't kill yourself over this." She said.
Sam looked at her hands, and then ran to a pot. She lifted it up and looked at herself in the shiny bottom. "What is wrong with me now!? What just happened?"James frowned. "What are you going to do? What are you trying to do calla? You have to tell me first. Please." He begged, worried about her.
"Your not a vampire." He whispered. "You have your powers all of them." He whispered. "It will be fine I'll be fine." She said looking at him.
Sam looked at herself. "I do?" She tired to reach her powers and could. She laughed with joy. "Wait... but then why am I dark?"James looked at her, still worried, but trusting her. "Ok." He said softly, nodding. "Do what you must."
"Maybe you have your powers that they hid from you." He whispered.She took Sam's dark powers and pour it into herself. She fell on the floor. "She's ok."
"All of them!?" Sam exclaimed. Then she felt power leave her and she gasped. "Someone just took the dark powers..." She said softly.James was immediately over her, holding her hand. "Are you ok? Don't tell me you hurt yourself."
He picked her up. "Shhh it will be ok. It was just a dream it won't happen again I'll scare it away." He smiling down at her.
