Once Upon A Time and Lara

Calla laid there coldly.

Sam was crying over Calla's body, her tears wetting her friend's shirt.

Calla looked like she was sleeping. She was. Her soul was locked up. She kept calling for him but he didn't answer.

Sam watched as he healed her, trying to dry her own tears. She wiped them away, watching quietly.

"Calla clam down whose they and who did they kill?"
"Council killed them and he's not there. He doesn't want me because of them. They killed him and them."
"James is right here."
"He doesn't want me. I tired to protect him and them but they lied. I should of stayed with him. They lied though."
"Maybe we should go talk to Josh?" Calla started to cry. She was shaking.

James was scowling at them. "If you're going to talk to Josh, then let me out of these ropes first!" He said, yanking on them.

"James what she talking about?"

Sam was listening intently to Calla, trying to figure out what she was trying to say.

"I think you do know. So wait and tell us." He said glaring at James. "Why did she leave?"
"Because they were going to kill them and him if I didn't and they did."

Sam frowned. "They threatened to kill her family? I thought they were already dead?"

"Sam how come I don't like the sound of lost souls?"

Sam shuddered. "It means that Josh is gone... forever."

"James talk to her. Calla do want to say anything to him."
"I told you tell him I was wrong. I should of stayed. They lied now Josh and my parents and him are gone forever."
"Calla James is right there."

Sam smiled a little, maybe now they would make up.

"They screamed I saw them die. " she whispered shaking.
"James why won't she clam down. Is she I some type of shock?"

Sam watched. "So she could be in shock?"
He nodded.

"Who's gone and what's broken?"
"James connection heart." She couldn't stop it.
"Calla James is right there." He pointed out.

Sam turned her attention to Calla. "What did they make you break? What was broken?" She asked her, hoping to get some clear answers.

"James you gotta do something."

"They threatened to kill me?" Sam asked, nervously.

Sam relaxed when she heard this.

Sam didnt know what to say.

Sam shook her head. How would they ever get the message across to him?

Her aunt popped in. "Hello darling how did you like seeing your family die?"
"You caused if."
"Well yes I did and now that dead old James did his part without even knowing it."
"What are you going to do?"
"What he was suppose to do? But then he fell for shame really." She stabbed her. This time she put no charms on if. It was filled with darkness. She collapsed to the ground after her aunt left.
"It burns." She whispered.
"Sam what's wrong."
"Darkness blade. James I'm sorry I thought I was doing something right. Now I know I should of told you the whole thing." She winced at the pain. She skin became a shade paler.

Sam watches. "Is she going to be ok?"
James nodded. "She should be." He was purposely avoiding talking to Calla.

Sam gulped. Calla did that? Harsh. ..

"Everyone makes mistakes."

Sam swallowed, they both had valid arguments. What were they going to do?

"James don't go."

Sam looked down.

"James and Calla you both need to sit down and talk and your not going anywhere James until you do."

"Do you think they'll actually work it out?" She whispered to Danny.

"Calla stop talking like that."

Sam shook her head. Please calm down and get a grip you two. She thought to herself. Calla was on the edge of depression, and James looked like he was going to blow his top.

"Just make up already."

Sam watched for a little longer and then tapped Danny. "Maybe we should go until they are done, and then come back after?"

Sam nodded, walking a little ways away. Relationship issues could be horrible.

Sam grinned. "Thank goodness. Shall we go back now?" She asked Danny. "I'm sure they'll come along when they're ready."

"Yeah." He said looking at her. "I'm glad we don't fight like that." He whispered.

Sam nodded, hugging him. "I am so glad we don't." She said honestly. She didn't know what she would do without him. It would be like missing half of herself.

"What are they doing here?" He asked looking at the council.

Sam shrugged. "I honestly have no idea."
James didn't hear Danny. He was too far away by now. He didn't want to think about Calla. He didn't want to have anything to do with her. She had hurt him more than anyone else had ever before. He realized that it was the ones who were close to you that could hurt you the most. Well I know to never make that mistake again.
