I actually found it looking up crow. I was sure that book had to have some kind of black bird in it since it deals with so much magic. It had crow in it too, but the page number was listed higher than the number of pages Amazon said the book had, so I thought that might be in a preview or something.

I just finished my book. Also needed it for 2 other team challenges, one of which needed it by tomorrow, so that's all I have been reading today since the word was called.

Review:Harry Dresden is down on his luck professionally because his source of work has all but dried up. Lieutenant Karrin Murphy asks for Harry's help on a case that she really shouldn't be working but wants his opinion. Harry runs across werewolf which creates all sorts of problems for him. He knows that he promised no more secrets but not sure he fully give his promise to Murphy. Someone is only killing during the week of full moon. Will Harry solve the case? Will he keep his promise?

This was a fun romance between a stubborn barmaid/vet tech/bar owner who had sworn off romance and a rancher who had vowed never to get involved with a barmaid. They come from very different social and economic backgrounds and are brought together by a chance encounter in the bar and wily machinations of a dying uncle. I thought the book also did well with setting up other characters to have future books in the series.

This is the 3rd installment in the Love at Stake Series. It has everything I love in a paranormal Romance. Action, love and well written characters.
I liked how Emma and Angus were happy with who they are. They weren't the typical self loathing characters. However, the author has a weird way of overusing a phrase that the character says. After reading it over and over again, it did get lame. That is why this story lost a star for me.

Review: # 3 of the Black Knights series. This one starts up right after book 2 ends. Johhny V. is after all of the Black Knights and their families who killed his brother in law and cousin in book 1. He sets hired killers on them. Jake "Snake" Sommers one of Frank's crew from his Seal days is back for Shell - Frank's sister. They have a lot of bad history and a few secrets between them. Light entertaining read. Both the H and h have some stupid moments. Was surprised how Jake acted after he found out the secret that Michelle had - especially with how his reactions in the past contributed to this secret - what an idiot. You have all the fun side characters in this one as well. I'm getting the feeling the side characters are more interesting until the story is about them. Oh well - still fun.

Great book, loved all the characters and the continuing development of Mercy and Adam's relationship. The storyline was pretty crazy with the Fire god, and Christy! Loved it!!
