Red stopped pulling Tobias and tried to made Wolf understand why he was there.

Tobias tried to limp away.Wolf paused, and tried to listen to Red.
Through growls and noises only animals could understand, Red offered to help Tobias in exchange that the boy would help River.
Wolf growled back in stubborn defiance, and in naivety.
Red growled back, warning him that if the boy dies he would also die.
Wolf finally conceded, and grabbed Tobias to drag him away.
Red helped Wolf and guided them to the place where River was.She had found a small lake and was now refreshing her feet with the cold water. She heard steps and felt the presence of Red. She smiled and turned to look at him.
Red just kept pushing him, no minding his growling or whatever. They finally reach the lake where River was resting, and her smile soon faded. "And I was hoping Red couldn't find you... But he's just too good..." she said more to herself.
He growled again, and bared his teeth, much like the wolf that he walked with.
"Stop growling and come here, young wolf." she said. Red went to her partner's side and lick her face again. "Nope, I'm fine. Luckily I'll be able to walk tomorrow." she replied to him.
Tobias would not have, if Wolf had not forced it. And wolf did force it.
River knew where she had hurt him, and so without asking for permission took his leg and used her own bandage to clean his wound.
He grimaced and looked away, severely unhappy about being helped by his enemy.
She was too focus to cared if it hurt him or not. River smiled slightly when she saw that the wound was just as exactly as she wanted it to be.
Tobias looked to his wolf for aid, but it denied him escape. "Traitor," he mouthed.
River shook her head. "It was Red idea. Don't blame your wolf for caring about you..." she said softly. The cleaning was finished and she procceed to bandage the wound.
Tobias ignored her with defiant pride.
River rolled her eyes. " Done." she exclaimed, satisfied with the result.
It was still sore, but more mobile. He stood up, and turned away to leave.
"You can't leave." she said and Red put himself in front of Tobias. "You have to keep your part of the deal."
"I made no deal." Tobias snarled back. Wolf moved to his side.
"Your partner did it." she said and Red growled to both of them. She turned to look at them with her big yellow eyes. "What's your most biggest desire?"
Tobias glared at Wolf, who lay down in submission. He ignored her question.
"Come on, what if I tell you there's a way to grant that wish?" she tempted him
He looked at her, and tilted his head quizzically.
River smiled and called Red to her side. "We're looking for a jewel. They called it the Désirer in some regions. It is said it can grant three wishes to three different people."
Tobias looked interested. He couldn't think of anything to wish for, though. And leaving would mean abandoning his territory.
"If you help me, I'll help you. It's a reciprocate system, you know? I already did, now it's your turn." she said. "You can come up with a wish later."
Tobias knew that he could easily just leave, and not be seen by her again. Despite this, he found himself stepping forwards.
A small smile drew over her face, knowing she had conviced him. She stood up and extended a hand. "Let's make a deal between us, not our partners. Is that fair enough?"
He nodded, and moved towards her.
River took his hand and shook it, still smiling. "We're leaving tomorrow at the morning." she said and sent Red to look for something to eat, while she kept resting in the lake. "You never speak too much. don't you?" she stated looking up to the sky.
Tobias shook his head. He was unaccustomed to company.
"I hoped one day I can make you speak at least ten words." she said, taking it as a challenge. River was rather chatty and now that she had someone who could talk in her language she wasn't going to miss the chance.
River nodded. "I will, I swear." she said teasingly. She lied down on the floor, her gaze still looking at the darkening sky.
Tobias shook his head, then sat down. Wolf lay beside him, and Tobias leaned on him.
Red came back with two bunnies in his mouth. He left them in the floor, and River took it and ate it raw.
Wolf grabbed one and pulled it away.
River's face was now red and she cleaned the blood with the water. She got up and curled herself, Red joining her.
Wolf and Tobias shared their rabbit.
"I will know if you leave." she warned the young wolf and fell asleep.
Tobias guessed he was safest to believe her, and curled up against Wolf.
The next morning, River woke up with the sound of an agonizing little pidgeon. She smiled and thanked Red for the food, and started eating it. Meanwhile, she stared at the boy.
Tobias was still asleep, Wolf was awake. Despite this, Wolf did not move lest he disturb Tobias.
She smiled at Wolf and offered him the wing of the bird. "Want some?" she mouthed.
Wolf looked at the meat longingly, but did not move.
"Come on, is not poisoned. You saw me eating it, didn't you?" she whispered.
Wolf did not want to move, and disturb Tobias' sleep. He whined quietly.
