Prologue - Chapter 12: (view spoiler)[fsdkflasfkla I'm beyond happy that I finally found time to re-read this book. I love Melanie and the Wanderer. I really like their friendship and how it started off super slow but now they are starting to trust each other. I also love how they both hate the seeker because I hate that bitch and she needs to die. I like their journey and how they are complete opposites but I'm excited to meet everyone again. Like Uncle Jeb, Jared, Jamie, etc. I wonder what happened to Jamie and Jared after Melanie tried to kill herself/distract the seekers from her brother and supposed boyfriend. I also want to know how everyone is going to react to Melanie being one of them. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 13-24: (view spoiler)[Okay so it kind of sucked at first to be Wanda/Melanie because no one trusted her. When she first saw everyone, including Jared, man he hit the shit out of her. WHY? Oh, because he doesn't see her as Melanie anymore. Nope he sees her as the enemy now. I wonder if that will ever change for him because everyone, well mostly everyone, has now seen her in a different light. They know she's not there to hurt them or give away their hiding place. They know she is on her own and that the seekers were looking for them but have ceased their search for her. It's kind of weird seeing Ian's opinion of her change so quickly. I have a feeling there's sort of a love-square situation happening here because Ian seems to like Wanda and maybe it'll end up being vice-versa. Plus, Melanie is still in love with Jared and I'm sure he is still in love with her because she's still alive. He hasn't given the approval of killing the wanderer yet. Well, he has been gone on a mission..so I kind of wonder what he will think of the situation and how it has drastically changed since he has been gone. Will his opinion on the Wanderer/Melanie change as well?!? (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 25-36: (view spoiler)[So, I don't really understand the whole soccer game or anything but I'm glad people are starting to accept Wanda into their lives. I'm also completely shocked that Wanda saved Kyle after he tried to kill her. I was all on Melanie's side for killing him so that she could end up 100% safe but then I realized that there would be terrible consequences for her if people found out that she killed him. I know that it would've happened anyways because she is different. Because she is still the enemy and not human. I'm also happy that Jared has come around to accepting her. He knows that somewhere deep down inside that Melanie is still alive and there. So I wonder what's going to happen with that story line. Are they going to figure out a way to separate Wanda and Mel from each other so that they could live peacefully among the people in this cave? Or are they going to kill both Wanda and Mel??! So many questions so little time. I need more information!! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 37-48: (view spoiler)[fdalfkdkslafmdlkfmkdl so Jamie was hurt and that sort of killed me inside. I love Jamie's character and I didn't want anything bad to happen to him at all. I'm glad that everyone sort of started to let Wanda help them all out. It was her plan to go to the healers while showing them the injuries that Jamie had so that she could get healed but that she could also steal some of their medicine. By stealing their medicine she is helping the people within this cave last longer than they ever expected. I'm all for their survival even though I don't like all of them. I wonder whats going to happen now. Are they going to figure out a way to separate Wanda from Mel?!?! I don't really see the love-square happening anymore but that could just be me. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[dfkadlsfkldsafmsadlmfldkasmfkla I'M SO FREAKING HAPPY THAT EVERYONE GOT A HAPPILY EVER AFTER! I really wanted Ian to end up with Wanda and I also really wanted Mel to get back with Jared. I can't complain at all with this ending. Then the epilogue sort of threw me a twist because there are others out there that started to side with the humans. My mind is blown but I'm not really surprised because humans are awesome. And yes, I'm completely bias. Again, I'm really happy and I wish the other two books that were promised 100 years ago were written but I have a feeling they never will be. (hide spoiler)]
