I left off at the part where they just get to the arena. If you say it gets better, I will go right to it and try again. maybe if I had seen the movie, I might get into it better. By the way, I do enjoy reading your blogs, and other comments on books and such, reviews etc;.

A few of my more recent favorite YA books are: The Hex Hall series by Rachel Hawkins, The Seven Realms Series by Cinda Williams Chima and Cassandra Clare's Clockwork Series.

BUT Lisa Anne keep reading Mockingjay! IMHO it comes in second to the first in the series, but wraps up the story nicely ... ;o)

Gavin Driskells author of Finius Murk and The House of Cards has done a great job as it offers a sense of mystery and tackles serious themes throughout the story while also providing a surprising amount of fun amd mystery.
I loved Sparrow Road by Sheila O'Connor. See my review:http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Also adored The Fault in Our Stars by John Green! See my review:

Funny and heartbreaking all at once.I just got his other books, Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns and eager to read.
The Grey wolves Series by Quinn LoftisSomething Witchy This Way Comes by Veronica Blade
Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Vampire Academy Richelle Mead
Twlight, Hunger Fames, City of Bones, Books by Pc CastArmored http://www.amazon.com/Armored-The-T%C...
I can read any book by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Veronica Blade, Quinn Loftis, Maggie Stiefvater, Cate Tiernan, or Richelle Mead. Just a few of many, actually. Some authors I really like, but haven't read any of their other books. I wouldn't know if I can read just any book written by them. For example, I love The Mortal Instruments, The Hunger Games, The Morganville Vampires, etc. But I'm not sure how I would like those author's other books. I will give them a try one day, though!
I really love: J.K. ROWLING, Tahereh Mafi, Holly Black and Maggie Stiefvater!I also like: John Green, Suzanne Collins and Rainbow Rowell
I absolutely love JK Rowling, Sally Nicholas and Suzanne Collins.I also like Jude Watson's YA books..they're a bit different. I like Sara Shepard's books too- they're a guilty pleasure.
I like John Green but I think he's a little over-rated. I don't think The Fault in Our Stars is like, ''the best book ever.''
Hi Arushi, I'd love to get a review from a young lady such as yourself. "Quest for Eden: The Noble Guardian Warriors. This review sums it up best....
Ian MacGregger

I really enjoyed this book. I have a strong interest in spirituality and Native American mythology. Quest for Eden resonated with both. I could see this book being very attractive to the rapidly growing young adult market. Its combination of optimism and a focus on working together to achieve an objective are important lessons.
The author writes in the clear and straightforward prose which clearly reflects at least in part direct personal experience. That's one of the reasons that the book is so enjoyable. Too many authors write about things they don't really understand and haven't experienced but you get the feeling that this book was written by a person who is actually trod the paths and undergone the discipline.
The plot is well-developed, the characters are interesting and come alive and the overall story draws you in and keeps you wanting more. I would highly recommend this book, particularly to young adults. It has a lot to say to them and my hope is that the author continues producing books as good as this one.
I could send you the word file
Thanks
Frank

I agree regarding your comment on Sara Shepard and John Green! Sara Shepard's books are not the best in their genre, but they're really addictive. And I also appreciate John Green's novels, but I agree. I almost did not read it because everyone was talking about it. But in the end, I didn't understand why it got so much attention. Well, I suppose it's because he's slight philosophical bend is a refreshing difference from other famous YA books.
Hello FrankI would love to review the book. You can send me the word file. However, I won't be able to do it until next week.
Sorry for the inconvenience!

It's a huge turn-off for me when a book gets a lot of hype and everyone is talking about it like it's heaven-knows-what. That's why I read An Abundance of Katherines before The Fault in Our Stars.
Hi Arushi, it's not an inconvenience at all. Send me an email to legacyironworks@gmail.com Please mention your name and about the review and I'll return the word file to youThanks
Frank
The Fault in Our Stars, Hunger Games, Spectacular Now (although I have a love/hate relationship with Sutter) just to name a few.
