Although I fell short on Buzz, I feel like I made a huge accomplishment participating in this challenge, and it being my first. I exceeded my own expectations, and had fun while doing it. I have to say that I was happy to see it come to an end, for chunksters make it difficult to experience some of the shorter great reads out there. Thanks Janice, for your efforts and attention. It's one of those situations where you can't see it even though you're looking right at it. That never happens to me.

hmmmm.... I don't know what to do here, people. There are only 22 people who have answered these questions for the wrap up badges. There were around 75 people who received Slick Slug's badge, so where are the other 50 people?

I'm wondering how I can award badges for the longest book or the most pages read or the most books read based on 1/3 of the participants. Today was the deadline. I will extend it to Saturday night, and decide on Sunday whether or not there's enough responders to warrant badges.

I know it would mean extra work for you, but maybe you could give participation badges to those who did not respond to your questions, and a different (perhaps nicer) badge to those who did. And then of course, there are the winning badges. I guess that would mean only one more badge than you were planning on making :)

I have finally posted the wrap up badges. I struggled with it a bit because there were only 1/3 of the participants who reported their wrap up stats. But, then I started thinking back over the year and realized that the people who read the most books, the most pages, and the chunkiest book most likely were in the group who reported.

Those people are:

Lynn - Most books read (199)
Almeta - Most pages read (55,842)
Carolyn - Chunkiest book (1463 pages)

Just for interest sake - there were 76 people who completed the challenge. There were another 14 people who attempted the challenge and read at least 1 book.
