The Abominable Snowmen DVD now has cover art and a solid, slightly earlier than before release date.

Not jumping to preorder it, but feeling more optimistic.
Probably get it as a Christmas present to myself.

Random Troughton thought: It would have been cool to have a story where the 2nd Doctor meets Susan.

Something about that dynamic appeals to me.
Have to add it to my fanfic wish list.

We got a copy in at the library I work, and it’s been stuck in processing for weeks. The wholesaler that we use for our DVD and Blu-ray releases handles some of our processing, switching them into our locking cases, putting stickers on the case, etc. Well, the pay really goofed with this one. They took the three discs out and put them each into their own case. Disc one is the animated color version, disc two is the animated b&w version and disc three is the compilation of original surviving episodes interspersed with animated episodes (or something kind of order like that, not sure exactly) and the cataloger is too busy with other stuff to dig through it and fix it. Very irritating as I see it every time I’m in that area and I know I’m the first person on the hold list. 😹

I finally got them to push through our copy of The Abominable Snowmen and started watching it tonight. Hopefully I’ll have time to finish it tomorrow.
