OMG! The Irin Chronicles is SO FANTASTIC. Really REALLY good. You should definitely try to get to The Scribe (Irin Chronicles, #1) by Elizabeth Hunter sometime soonish :D I LOVE all of Elizabeth Hunter's books but this series is my favorite PNR of hers so far. And that's saying a lot because her Elemental Mysteries series is amazing.

Finished Deep Blue (Waterfire Saga, #1) by Jennifer Donnelly . My thoughts, don't bother unless you want to get annoyed with plot holes and then be left with nothing resolved in the end plus a huge cliffhanger.
I will be starting Nantucket Red (Nantucket, #2) by Leila Howland tonight and I'm sure I'll blow through it since I read the first one in less than 24 hours.
Then I'll be cracking Renegade (MILA 2.0, #2) by Debra Driza so I can review it by it's 5/13 publication date.

Well all I'm good at is reading Lolol. I don't cook, sewing ha ha, cleaning what is that? I live in Arizona so gardening I'm not too familiar with lol. And I definitely could not kill livestock ew. I'd name them and be sad they were gone, I can't know my food lol. So I guess I'm useless lol, but I can recommend books to read.

message 4027: by Micah (new)

Micah (sinvega) | 76 comments Please recommend me some new reads :D

I am crazy about dystopian but it doesn't need to be dystopian.

I usually prefer male protag but most books are female protags. So I settle.

My main requirements

1. Dystopian is a plus though not required
2. Sci-fi/Fantasy/Paranormal(I can deal with Sci-fi but nothing to out there lol...)

3. Bad Boy/Anti-hero type of male character who is a character and not just a plot device/love interest

or at least a good guy who is not "Goody goody & Mr. Perfect"
4. Action, Suspense and twists galore

Preferably be a trilogy or series.

Some series I loved/liked

1. Shatter Me(Loved only for Warner)
2. The darkest minds(Love Clancy)
3. poison princess(Liked, almost love)
4. Elemental Series by Brigid Kemmerer(Love)
5. Mara Dyer(Love)

Reading soon:
Under The Never Sky
Half-bad

I think UtNS is exactly what you're looking for. I would recommend The Collector (Dante Walker, #1) by Victoria Scott , plus the third book just came out so you don't have to wait. Also Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer is fantastic.

Ami E. Bowen (skayda) | 27 comments What I am currently reading is the "Unearthly" trilogy by Cynthia Hand, I'm about halfway through book three; "Unbound" and Rin Chupeco's "The Girl From The Well" which is different and creepy. Both books, (and Hand's first two in the "Unearthly" series), are all proving to be quite fast and easy reads.

Fall of Angels Series by Keary Taylor

Archers of Avalon by Chelsea Fine
Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta
