Well, I just finished and my heart is just crushed. Knew it was going to happen, but wow what these two have been through. Reminded me a lot of how emotionally wrecked I was after the Thoughtless series books, Rebecca is just such a phenomenal character writer. Tristan and Danika are absolutely a favorite couple for me, if any of you haven't read this series yet, trust me when I say it's a must-read (especially if you've already read the series).

On to and a few blog review reads for me, just to get my mind cleared!

I stopped at book two and got seriously side-tracked! LOL I am determined to read this one this week, though. I'm supposed to get an ARC of Suzanne Wright's next Phoenix Pack though, so everything's on halt if it comes through!!

Belkis, I can't wait for you to start this! You know when I read the book True Love Story, that's what I was hoping for but it's not what I got. This book is a true love story! I'm constantly in search of an epic romance like how Titanic was an epic romantic movie of all time for me. This is my epic romance novel right now.

Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea is miles apart from The Darkest Minds so far. Between the Devil was much easier to get into and it got atmospheric. I having a little trouble getting into The Darkest Minds though. I feel really distant from it.

Definitely an EPIC love story that will stand through the ages…you know Paulinna Simons has been writing the screen play herself for years (for The Bronze Horseman) and it's been picked up by a British company to start production when she is done … fans forever (including myself) have pictured Henry Cavill as Shura and he speaks Russian too so EEEEPPPP

I was a bit annoyed by Snakeroot. I don't know why. The story was good enough and the writing was really good, but there was just something about it that got on my nerves. I still haven't rated or reviewed it. Enjoy your nuns!

Well Mel I haven't read Between The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea yet but The Darkest Minds took me almost halfway through the book to really "get" into the story . I did like it by the end because the second half is faster paced and the story really evolves once all of the main characters get together. I ended up enjoying it a lot by the time I finished. It wasn't a love book for me but it was really good. I ended up giving it 4 stars. I felt the story to be a bit dragged out, some of the plot decisions I found questionable, and Ruby frustrated me a lot. But it was interesting enough to evoke reactions and questions from me as well as making me looking froward to the next book though. So all in all I thought it pretty good and worth the read.

My biggest issue with it is that there is that there is a lot of talking and not a lot of doing, like there's nothing really happening yet just a lot of Ruby's inner monologue and she definitely has a lot of self-pity going on which is not helping.
