I heard those Discworld books are really good. I haven't read any yet.

message 2752: by Genevieve (new)

Genevieve Griffin (genevievegriffin) They're worth it. If you want to stick with the YA theme, there's some Discworld books specifically in that category, primarily the Tiffany Aching books, which are wonderful. Those start with The Wee Free Men (Discworld, #30) (Tiffany Aching, #1) by Terry Pratchett .

Still reading Camp Payback (Camp Boyfriend, #2) by J.K. Rock . Just over 3/4 done, but it's slow for me. The first one was better. I also started The Here and Now by Ann Brashares . Hope it's good!

It's unlike anything I've ever read, and I have so much respect for Cooksey for that! It's hard to come up with something original, and this series is entirely unique and LOL funny...and seriously addicting, because for a YA series the romance hooks you!!

Yeah, I'm about halfway through and it's okay. The heroine is a bit too childish for my tastes given the situation and the fact that he's 29! It's a little odd for a pairing. Not looking forward to the end if it's a cliffie!! =/

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Belkis I finished Forever Mine (The Moreno Brothers, #1) by Elizabeth Reyes and I loved it. I gave it 5*. Is it kinda sorta predictable and cheesy, but it's so simplistic that it was enjoyable. I just ate it up. Loved it.

Was hoping for better but it was just okay. Halfway through Shark Bait (Grab Your Pole, #1) by Jenn Cooksey and loving it. Starting Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms, #1) by Morgan Rhodes next and very excited. Been wanting to get to it for a while. Then up next I'm planning on Dominic (Slater Brothers, #1) by L.A. I swear Bridget, we share the same mind! I got both of these & immediately started Six Months. Good so far! I also want to get Twisted (Tangled, #2) by Emma Chase but am having a hard time spending $7.99 for an ebook. :(

Donna | 1350 comments Things I read over my break: The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent Boys, #2) by Abbi Glines , which was really good. Even though it wasn't involving the beach, I associate Abbi Glines with the beach, so it was right up my alley. I also read The Unidentified Redhead (Redhead, #1) by Alice Clayton and Lucien's Mate by Diana Persaud , which were both good. I actually liked Luciens Mate mainly because it was so short & it didn't hash things out.

I don't mind spending some money on the books (I have my budget afterall), but really? Over $5 for an eBook? I mean, okay, I know I'll eventually spend it, but it's going to be during a week when I don't have much else I plan on buying (and we all know that hardly ever happens). :D

It's a 'oh I wonder what will be next cliffhanger' rather than a 'WHAT?!? HOW!?! I don't understand cliffhanger'
The story was wrapped up but left open for the next installment ... if that makes sense (without trying to give anything away!)

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments So I am still reading Forever Yours (The Moreno Brothers, #1.5) by Elizabeth Reyes but I set it aside to pick up The Dom's Dungeon by Cherise Sinclair pretty good so far. Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Finished The Dom's Dungeon by Cherise Sinclair was pretty good. More emotional than sexual. But still over all a good read. Okay, so my opinion on this one- it was good, but not great. This is one of those "I've read better" books, it was too rushed and the captor came across as more creepy than sexy because of it. Maybe because there was an 11 year age difference and she'd literally just turned 18, I don't know. But yeah, like Rebecca said, no cliffie but it does make you want to get to the next one out of curiosity! LOL
