I see you have Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover on your list but it's not rated. Did you read it? If not, maybe give that a try. For me, Hoover barely disappoints!

I got about halfway through that book but had to set it aside. I just couldn't get pulled into the story for some reason. The writing was great but I think there were too many point of views and so I didn't find myself connecting with the characters. I might try reading it again when my brain isn't so scattered and I can focus a bit better

Finished Playing With Fire (#HACKER book 1) by Sherry D. Ficklin and it was cute. I gave it a 3. But it needs more work. I know this was the ARC so hopefully they'll make some final changes. It was short, and I think it could be better if she added a bit to it. Going to try and finish up Persuasion (The Heirs of Watson Island, #2) by Martina Boone today. Started Garrett (Cold Fury Hockey, #2) by Sawyer Bennett last night, as well, and I have to say so far I'm not loving it. I'm only 9% in so we'll see. But it seems like a different writer than Alex (Cold Fury Hockey, #1) by Sawyer Bennett

For some unknown reason I skipped Garrett and went right into Zack (Cold Fury Hockey, #3) by Sawyer Bennett , which was good. This makes me glad... although I'll probably get to it eventually.

Oh I absolutely agree - I'm not sure what part you're up to but for me it wasn't until the flash happened and Evie and Jack got on the road the I really got into the story...then once other characters started popping up it was pretty much impossible to put down!

Personally I found books 2 and 3 to be better than book 1 (I think I've made my love for Aric pretty well known on this thread lol) but I think the second half of book 1 is really worth sticking around for!

Hope you start enjoying it soon!

LOVED this one!!! It's been one of my faves for the year I think :) ...I was one of the lucky ones who only read the Diviners late last year so the last book wasn't too hard to remember once the story got going...I found that by the end of the book LB had done a good job of combining the new story with tidbits of the first book so readers could get back on track

Hopefully the next one comes out soon(ish) - I really don't wanna have to wait three years!

GR is pissing me off. I found some books on my read shelf that I needed to move to another shelf because I hadn't read them. I went to edit the batch and it told me books on the read shelf are not allowed to be moved, that they are permanent or something stupid like that. I didn't read them! I need to remove them. I clicked the wrong button you dumb asses. So I had to completely remove them from all my shelves and there were like 10 and now I don't remember which ones they were! Grrrrr....stupid site!

Sadly that's happened to me too Brooke and more than once. It's so ridiculous that GR won't let you move books from the Read shelf once they've been added. So many times I've had to completely remove book just to turn around and re-add them! Sigh.... :/

I'll be interested to hear your take on Garrett. I'm 33% in and I have no connections with either Garrett or Olivia at this point. Two people have told me it gets better. I won't go past 50% if it's not better by then. I hate to do it, but I just don't have time to waste.
