Yes!! Can't wait for more IAD!! I love that this is out Dec 1 just after I'm done with NaNoWriMo!! Although I have to admit I'm wishing the story was about characters we'd already met - I'm dying to read Kristoff's story!!! But I'm sure it will be amazing anyway!

Ashlee | 309 comments Eek just saw the cover for Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices, #1) by Cassandra Clare !! So so excited for this!! :)

Just started listening to The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) by Rick Riordan but am finding it a little hard to get into, unlike the PJ books which I flew through over the last week - although that's probably because those are MG books, and also I love Greek mythology but don't really know much Norse stuff except Thor lol

message 22621: by Belkis (new)

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay so I finally gave up on Uprooted by Naomi Novik OMG! I kept trying and trying but it just continued to suck! Ugh! I get the feeling that the original was written in another language and the translation to English is subpar?? I just don't get it. How can this have so many high ratings??!! I finally had to give up because every single minute of this book was torturous for me. I got to like 20% before calling it quits.

Donna | 1350 comments Finished Wicked as They Come (Blud, #1) by Delilah S. Dawson last night and loved it. Heard questionable opinions on books #2, and am honestly disappointed it's not about Crim and Tish - but Casper seems like an interesting fellow, so I'll definitely read it. Started Night Embrace (Dark-Hunter, #2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon and am really enjoying it. Sunny is fabulous.

I also finished The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George 5 stars. I adored this story! The writing was lovely, the setting was fantastic (France, then on a barge that is a small bookshop traveling the countryside)the characters were interesting, and best of all this was a book about BOOKS and LOVE. Wonderful read!

I will def read the sequel to Time Between Us. You def need to read TLPB, I know you would love it. It reminded me a bit of AJ Fikry, although not quite as good, but the characters and situations are along those lines.

I've heard tons of great things about this one so I put it on my TBR (although I haven't bought it yet) but lately I've only heard negative things. You're the 4th person I've heard from lately who didn't like it. Hmmm. I may read it at some point, but I'm not as excited to read it now! Plenty of others I want to read first.
