I noticed right away that Mythos Academy has 13 Artifacts; Paranormal Pubic series with 6 Artifacts. A lot of why I am reading Mythos Academy is the first book costs $7.99, but the remaining 5 books are free on KU.

Finished Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis and The Winner's Crime (The Winner's Trilogy, #2) by Marie Rutkoski . Stitching Snow was just ok for me. I had trouble with the romance and I felt the MC was really flat. But I'll move on and see what the next book is about. Thank goodness there wasn't a cliff hanger for that one. Now TWC, UGH! WHAT A FANTASTIC BOOK! I can't wait to see what happens. THAT ENDING! GAH!!!! Next up is A Step Toward Falling by Cammie McGovern for a blog tour. Hope I like it! And I'm also trying to finish up Castle of Sighs (Forest of Whispers #2) by Jennifer Murgia

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Uhmm So Crash (Crash, #1) by Nicole Williams was uhh well 2 stars from me. But I also read that some of the book had been rewritten so we all didnt get the same book Unless you read/read the original whne first published. I think in doing this she may have made things worse than they were I listened to the audio but I do have the original ebook Crash (Crash, #1) by Nicole Williams I see why the covers got a makeover since there wasnt but maybe one scene in the book where she actually danced.

Now Im not sure what Im in the mood for.

DNF'd A Step Toward Falling by Cammie McGovern . Nope, just, nope. First book I've DNF'd in a while, actually. The writing wasn't good for me, very juvenile. It's dual POV between the girl who did wrong and the girl that was done wrong to. And I didn't like how the author portrayed people with disabilities. It was a bit insulting, actually. She needs to do more research. On to Spinning Starlight by R.C. Lewis

Finished Spinning Starlight by R.C. Lewis and it was really great. I got a little teared up at the end. There is no connection with Stitching Snow, so no reason to read them in order if you don't feel like it. Kind of odd since it's toted as a "companion novel" to Stitching Snow. In any case, I totally enjoyed it. Now I'm moving on to: Falling for the Wrong Guy by Sara Hantz . I've been liking Entangled books in this genre lately, so I hope this continues the trend!
