I finished
and it was great! Loving this series a whole lot. Will be doing a buddy read of book 3 next week if anyone wants to join us :) now reading
for another buddy read.

Well if you'd like to do two books simultaneously, I'd be up for that.
I promised myself that this summer I would put a decent dent in my TBR shelf and it's already August, so I'm working hard here ;).
finished my reread of
and loved it even more the second time. I am waiting for book 2 to come in the mail today.finished
and gave in 3.5 stars. The extra half star was for the writing. This book was slow and the mystery was confusing and sometimes didn't make any sense. I loved the characters and was happy to see Tommy and Tuppence in thier old age and happy.started
and I am loving it. This is my first book by Cora Carmack and it will not be my last.

It's funny Nicole... As much as I love mystery I have never read a Agatha Christie book. I should try one.

Rusk University series is some of my favorite reading! I like this series better than her first one :)

Tracy then please don't start with Postern of Fate you wouldn't want to read any of her other books. My favorites so far have been
and
. They were great and I couldn't listen to them fast enough. I loved the audiobooks. One is narrated by Matthew from Downton Abbey and the other by the actor that plays Captian Hastings in the Hercule Poirot series movies(Christie' most famous and loved detective).

Thanks Rachel Joy :) but I have 2 more book commitments for this week so I wouldn't be able to start The Host until next week most probably. I hope you're enjoying both of your books though.

No worries. I think you'll enjoy it when you do read it.
I'm thinking of reading the host to. I saw the movie before I read the book and I'm just kinda debating whether or not to read it because if I do then I might not get into Diego already watching and knowing what's gonna happen.

Thanks Nicole. I will start with one of these then.

Okay I finished my buddy read of
and it was okay but not as great as her first book Cruel Beauty which I loved. The pace was too slow and the story was a bit confusing at times. Now I'm starting
for my next buddy read. I hope this is better :)
just finished
and it was such an amazing beginning to a series, I absolutely loved it. it will come out soon.It was actually linked to the authors other series, The Lucidites, which I loved so much.
finished
and I can't believe how much I loved this book. Great writing and characters and story. I am kicking myself for waiting this long to read it.starting
which I am so excited for. Plus I will be listening to any Agatha Chrisite. I am addicted her books.

I managed to finish a book! -
...I completely forgot it was coming out this week!It wasn't as good as I was hoping/expecting though...I'm not sure if that's because I'm still a little slumpy or maybe the series is getting a little tired (I hope not) but I just found I was able to put this one down to go to sleep without too much bother...the other books in this series have had me up all night!
I know it's probably not the worst problem in the world to actually get some sleep for once, but I do love the feeling of an unputdownable book!

So trying to finish up
because I'm overdue on my review. Also reading
for a blog tour. And sneak reading
in between it all. I have to also read
for a review/blast tour. But I haven't been able to read much except at night because I'm SO busy at work! GAH!

Finished
and
. Both were really good. Now I'm about two-thirds through
. I'm liking it, but not as much as the first one. Ky just isn't my cup of tea I think.
Right now I'm reading prince of wolves by Quinn loftis, outsider by micalea smeltzer, and Moon spell by Samantha Young.
Taylor wrote: "Right now I'm reading prince of wolves by Quinn loftis, outsider by micalea smeltzer, and Moon spell by Samantha Young."Oh I liked Moon Spell, although the romance frustrated me...it was one of those ones where the complications came from lack of communication and you're just like 'FOR FRICK'S SAKE JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!' - but apart from that I really enjoyed it...I thought
was better though
Back from a quick end of summer vacation trip with the family. I snuck in a few chapters of
which at almost halfway through is pretty good. I'm enjoying it. After that I'm switching it up with romantic comedy and starting
I think I'm going to leave
for a little while - a week or so maybe - I started it the other night and didn't mind it, got to ch 8 (about a 5th of the way through) but since I've put it down I haven't really had much inclination to pick it back up...I think it will be good but I need to wait until I'm in a better reading mood!I've decided to go ahead and start my re-read of ToG early...there are other books coming out in the next couple of weeks that can keep me going until September 1 (who's excited about
??) and worst case, I can always re-read the re-read! :)

Yeah, I wish. My boss is away since mid-July and doesn't return until August 17th. She takes this vacation every year. This year we have no extra help because the administrator thought she should cut our per-diem person when the census was low. Now we are BEHIND! DUH! Our department really doesn't rely on census so much as when the assessments are due for the residents. We are scrambling to get everything in and there is NO WAY I'm going to come in on the weekend and do it because it's her fault we don't have it done. I'm bitter, can you tell?
