Teresa | 606 comments I started and finished Easy (Contours of the Heart, #1) by Tammara Webber yesterday. It was a good, fast read. Today I went to the library and picked up Poison Princess (The Arcana Chronicles, #1) by Kresley Cole and Shadow Scale (Seraphina, #2) by Rachel Hartman . I think those will keep me busy for a while.

You should, it's a great book because it's not just the same story from a different POV. You actually get a lot more about Lucas away from the original story.

Did you know there's a third book now?

City of Ashes was a DNF for me too. Book 1, okay, I could deal with. But City of Ashes -- can we get to the meat of the matter?

Ohh I am so there with you on CoA! I did manage to finish it but it was a struggle, then I waited about a year before finally giving a CoG a chance...the story I found okay, and that was really the only reason I picked up CoG, because I heard the Valentine arc wrapped up in book 3 so I thought 'okay, I can do one more' ...but the characters, particularly Clary were just gah and the 'romantic complication' (which for some reason I've seen heaps of people applaud Clare for because of its 'originality') was just so awkward and uncomfortable to read about...seriously, of all the external conflict situations that could keep a couple apart, this was by far the worst!!!

TGL on the other hand is one of the best, I think anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Yes and YES Lynn :) I really am looking forward to Lucas' POV. ANd book 3 appears to be about another character, probably pulled from the original story. I've got my eye on it for when it releases to see what the reader pulse is for it before I pick it up though.

Same issue for me with Cassandra Clare's TMI series. Got through book 1 and wasn't really loving it by the end but I gave book 2 a try to see if the story improved. Unfortunately, it went south and I gave up on it. Did not care for where the plot was headed. Now, her TID trilogy however is fantastic!

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1075 comments I finished Landline by Rainbow Rowell and I LOVED it!! At the end, I had to go find my hubby and give him a hug :)

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Hi everyone I've been over in a different group and this one moves so quickly it's hard to keep up! But I've read a few books lately and I some how got on the top reviewers of GRs section so my profile has a nice little number link on it which is pretty cool.

Let's see I've read:
End of Days (Penryn and the End of Days, #3) by Susan Ee I just finished this today it's good but I felt it was missing something. It didn't feel rushed but I think it could have been prolonged and expanded on. What does life after the all this look like?
Beautiful Broken Promises by Kimberly Lauren I won this in GRs first reads it was good, but I was expecting something heartwrenching like Ten a Tiny Breaths but it wasn't that bad. I mean it had some emotional parts but nothing major major.
Mating Brand (Mating Heat, #3) by Laurann Dohner All Played Out (Rusk University, #3) by Cora Carmack
And Eighth Grave After Dark (Charley Davidson, #8) by Darynda Jones omg that book!!!

I'm sticking with my original thought that Flukes (Flukes, #1) by Nichole Chase has WAY too many chapters from the girls POV. It's hard to connect with the male POV when I barely see it happen.
