Whoever Chase is, I have not met that person yet. I'm over 50% in. That's a long time to wait for things to get better. I usually would have DNF'd by this point. But I am reading it for a tour.

WooHoo!!! Awesome!

OMG I LOVE Poison Princess Teresa! All of the books for this Arcana Chronicles have been fantastic! I hope you end up loving it just as much. Such a great and unique story. Kresley Cole is a wonderful writer,

Oh I loved Easy too. I still need to read the second book from Lucas' POV. I keep forgetting! Gotta go and move it up my tbr. Glad you enjoyed it.

Yes Tracy, you should. Bad Romeo was very good. Plan on reading book 2 Broken Juliet soon too.

Maybe I will check it out then.

You should, it's a great book because it's not just the same story from a different POV. You actually get a lot more about Lucas away from the original story.
Did you know there's a third book now?

City of Ashes was a DNF for me too. Book 1, okay, I could deal with. But City of Ashes -- can we get to the meat of the matter?

Ohh I am so there with you on CoA! I did manage to finish it but it was a struggle, then I waited about a year before finally giving a CoG a chance...the story I found okay, and that was really the only reason I picked up CoG, because I heard the Valentine arc wrapped up in book 3 so I thought 'okay, I can do one more' ...but the characters, particularly Clary were just gah and the 'romantic complication' (which for some reason I've seen heaps of people applaud Clare for because of its 'originality') was just so awkward and uncomfortable to read about...seriously, of all the external conflict situations that could keep a couple apart, this was by far the worst!!!
TGL on the other hand is one of the best, I think anyway, I hope you enjoy!

TOTALLY agree about TMI Ash.

It's good so far Tracy I'm about 30% into the audio and both the story and the narration are great :)

Oh, LOL! Yes, I know the author's last name is Chase, but the way you worded it I thought it was going to be another character that is introduced! LOL!

Yes and YES Lynn :) I really am looking forward to Lucas' POV. ANd book 3 appears to be about another character, probably pulled from the original story. I've got my eye on it for when it releases to see what the reader pulse is for it before I pick it up though.

Same issue for me with Cassandra Clare's TMI series. Got through book 1 and wasn't really loving it by the end but I gave book 2 a try to see if the story improved. Unfortunately, it went south and I gave up on it. Did not care for where the plot was headed. Now, her TID trilogy however is fantastic!

Are you waiting on the audio for AEitA Tracy? Because it's very well done.

I think Scott-Robert was the one who brought up Chase. I read this book forever ago and hardly remember anything about it.

I loved TMI, ESPECIALLY the 3rd and 6th books, but I agree TID was much better! That series was gold! Love those 3 MC characters!

Let's see I've read:

And

I still need to read this. It's on my bookshelf and scolding why I didn't yet pick it up.

Yes and I'm second on the list put you can keep the books for 21 days so it could be a while.

I'm sticking with my original thought that
has WAY too many chapters from the girls POV. It's hard to connect with the male POV when I barely see it happen.

I read that last month and thought it was brilliant. I hope you enjoy it too!

I'm 68% through it now so I figure I might as well just finish it but unless something drastically changes I don't think i'll pick up the third. Sounds like i'll have to give her other series a try though.

I loved TMI series. Books 1-3 were good. 4-5 were meh, but book 6 really hit it out of the park. But I do agree with everyone else who said the TDI series was better. I loved TDI. It was so good, I loved the setting and the characters, so good.

Yeah, me too!

Oh great Jenny, thanks! I'll move it up my tbr so I can listen to it after I listen to the other Rainbow Rowell books I have lined up to listen to first. Love her writing so much :)

Oh I hope you get your turn soon Tracy. I'm really enjoying it so far but I haven't gotten a chance to listen much because work has been super crazy this week. But I think you'll like it.

Yes Danielle, Eighth Grave was SO GOOD!

Oh how disappointing about Remembering Joy Sara :( I hope it gets better. Sucks when books look like their going to be good and then don't live up to it. And the audio of An Ember in the Ashes is very good.
