I'm sorry. That sucks. That's how we get suckered into reading a less than decent series. Hopefully your next read will be a real good one.

Lol thank God I'm not the only one who agrees on those points I made in my review ;) love/hate relationship with a book drives me bonkers but I guess I'm a sucker for them lol still reading Sweet Rome and loving his POV but I'm twice as annoyed and infuriated with his parents and that bitch, Shelly cause we get more of them ugh!

Finished A Wicked Thing (A Wicked Thing, #1) by Rhiannon Thomas today and it was ok, not great, not horrible. I started The Secrets We Keep by Trisha Leaver which I'm enjoying and Getting Lucky Number Seven by Cindi Madsen which is cute. Both are for review for blog tours.

Tasha | 207 comments I just finished The Sin Eater’s Daughter (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #1) by Melinda Salisbury and really enjoyed it. Next up... Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer !!! So excited!!
Also still going with Until I Die (Revenants, #2) by Amy Plum on my phone, and will probably finish off the trilogy after if it's on Scribd

message 18114: by Tasha (new)

Tasha | 207 comments I may cry. If I Should Die (Revenants, #3) by Amy Plum wasn't on Scribd, so now I had to buy it on Amazon (while on a book ban, whoops!) and earliest it should arrive is the 21st!!

I loved the Fallen books. I know a lot of people didn't but I did. It's definitely one of those you either love or hate but don't let others sway you Teresa. You may be one of those that love it.

The problem is, I'm not a huge fan of angel stories. Although I did like Angelfall and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Maybe I'll give Fallen a try. It's definitely true that I've liked books that a lot of people have hated and vice versa.

I heard this series was a rip-off of Twilight. What do you think? I've never read it, but am kind of intrigued since so many people liked it. I loved Twilight so I don't mind if there are similarities, but am hoping it's not an out and out ripoff

I enjoyed The Revenants trilogy Teresa and found the stroyline interesting and unique. I didn't even think about Twilight while reading it at all. Hmm.. now I'm trying to remember it and see if perhaps I missed something lOL! But seriously, I liked this one a lot.

Could you be thinking of another series Teresa? This one is nothing like Twighlight. I can't think of anything that would even resemble it. Maybe it's the feel of the book that reminds someone of Twilight. That's happened to me before. Two books completely different but made me feel the same.

Alright, putting it on my TBR list then. I think a lot of people compare a lot of books to Twilight for some reason even when they're totally different. Not sure why.
