Looks like you didn't read it in order lol. There is a whole reading order on her website because all the books intertwine. I may need to go back. I haven't picked it up because I'm due to read Grant's books and I HATE NAN I can't stand her. And did you know she will be getting her own book(s)? Yea idk about that!!

Danielle, Grant's book is really good. I'm an avid Nan hater as well. Don't think I'm going to want to read her book either.

I know I don't think I could hate a fictional character more than I hate her.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments I finished Until Nico (Until, #4) by Aurora Rose Reynolds 3.5 stars, I liked it but I was told the story vs lived the story and for me it makes the difference. There were certain events I'd have rather lived vs being reflected upon. So it wasn't as good as I thought it was, the emotional connection to the characters was meh and I couldn't really figure out exactly what they loved about each other....

Finished Halfway Perfect by Julie Cross and, while I thought the story was intriguing, it just was not what I expected from Julie Cross. I know she was cowriting, but I just feel like the story was not tight at all. I also finished Quake (Pulse, #3) by Patrick Carman which was a great ending to the trilogy, though this trilogy is a bit weird. And I started The Sin Eater’s Daughter (The Sin Eater’s Daughter, #1) by Melinda Salisbury which is interesting so far. I'm also reading an ARC of The Legacy Human (Singularity #1) by Susan Kaye Quinn , which I'm really liking. I like anything Susan writes, though. She's fabulous.

So far behind on posts here, but I'm so excited because I was in a bit of a romance rut and in DIRE need of a great YA read when I picked up Nevermore (Nevermore, #1) by Kelly Creagh , which I loved! I wanted a bit more romance, because honestly there's hardly any here, but it was such a beautifully twisted and dark change from the contemp and paranormal romance reads I've had lately. I used to love Poe, so it was awesome reading a story that had him as a centerpiece. I heard the sequel is disappointing since we don't see much of Varen at all, so I'm bracing myself for that, but I definitely want to check it out.

I also finished Annie's latest Before You (You & Me 0.1) by Annie Brewer , and I'm loving this troubled start to Ky and Addie's story!

On a sour note, The Gilded Cuff (Surrender, #1) by Lauren Smith was indeed a major bust, I am giving it a generous 3 stars but I'm miffed at the false advertising with this one. THe synopsis makes you expect a mysterious hero with an engrossing dom/sub mystery storyline, and I really don't feel like you get any of that. Bummed!

Reading Power and Possession (Reckless, #1) by C.C. Gibbs , Below the Belt (Worth the Fight, #3) by Sidney Halston for review now, and The Iron Queen (The Iron Fey, #3) by Julie Kagawa for my YA fix!

Yeah, I'm a little confused. There was the story with Phoebe, and then all of a sudden a blurb like "as Finley's adventures continue in the Girl in the Steel Corset" I thought that's what I WAS reading... and then I start reading what I guess is the actual book and some of the things said contradict the short story
