Now I need to finish Lick (Stage Dive, #1) by Kylie Scott for the weekly challenge. I'm at chp 4 and its to soon to judge but it's not bad. I am also listening to Circus of the Damned (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #3) by Laurell K. Hamilton because it has been on my TBR forever.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 152 comments Finished up Maggie for Hire (Maggie MacKay, Magical Tracker, #1) by Kate Danley last night. Funny humor . . .

I just finished chp 6 of Endless Knight Shera even though I'm supposed to be reading Lick. I also have Maggie for Hire on my kindle. I love humorous books so I should probably bump it up. Haven't read much humor lately and I think I'm due.

I didn't care for Matched much Misty. So you think the second one is better? Maybe I should give that one a try.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 152 comments It really did have a lot of great jokes. Just not much else. Standard UF plot, and the writing . . . isn't bad, but it's a lot of jokes over fleshing out. Some have really loved it though!

He-he! I decided now that Dead of Winter is out I don't have to abstain from Endless Knight. Gosh, I've had to force myself not to read it for over a year!

I honestly enjoyed the Matched trilogy a lot Misty. I found the story very interesting well written with nicely developed characters. I found this dystopian plot well paced and believable without being overly violent or heavy handed.

Matched was slow and the first few chapters I was worried I was in for disappointment but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did because I felt like Condie purposely tried to slow it down and draw you in deep to understand the monotony and humdrum of the world the Society created and then of course the end just started to pull it all together and make it work. At least for me. Trying not to give any spoilers but Crossed jumps right in to the mess so it's more gripping right away.

I loved Matched because it was so sweet. I felt that the slow pace made you focus more on the relationships. It felt very innocent in a way, despite what the characters were facing.

Girl, it's what's happening more and more lately since I haven't had time to keep up at all. I'm scrambling to catch up on blog reviews so when I finally get a chance to read something just for me, I forget to go back to these older series that I adore!

Flew through Lead (Stage Dive, #3) by Kylie Scott , definitely took a lot longer to build up this time but it's kind of what I expected with Jimmy's story. He was a VERY hard nut to crack! I didn't love Lena as much as Ev and Anne, but the climax was so painful, I loved it!! Can't believe I have to wait two months until Deep (Stage Dive, #4) by Kylie Scott now, dangit! I don't want to say goodbye to these boys though, so I guess it's better that there's a wait for the final story.

Agree with everyone who thought Divergent was the best. Insurgent was just sort of okay for me and I didn't read Allegiant because all the negative reviews scared me away and I'm a HEA person and I'd already heard about the ending.
