Oh yeah, I hear you. Sometimes it's so hard to decide. You read the book blurb and then the reviews and you're still wondering if you're gonna like the book or not, but at least if it's someone you read before and didn't like you already kind of know. I think I need to jump on the Colleen Hoover bandwagon, seems like everyone here raves about her books.

I'm so torn about this one, It's like a do I or don't I want to go there? lol I was very disappointed to find out that (view spoiler)[Soren had a child with someone else (hide spoiler)]; their relationship was so not your typical love story, but it was untouchable. Him sharing that with someone else took something away for me. Not sure how to feel about them now!

I know what you mean, but their relationship is not a typical one in any sense, you know?? So that event with Soren didn't really bother me a whole lot. I saw it more like someone needed help with something very important and he gave it. More for like the happiness of that marriage/couple?? I'm more upset over (view spoiler)[the fact that Nora didn't keep her child, or the fact that Kingsley and she didn't tell Soren about it at all (hide spoiler)] I mean I get it, they all have a very unique love between them where they each love the other without limits but some stuff is just so beyond normal understanding and acceptance that I guess that's what makes this series so fantastic!

MN was really good, Erin. It's Warren's novella and I just loved him so much. It's much sexier than MS, for sure.

I really enjoyed it, I thought it was a very interesting take on dragons. And Riley helped the enjoyment. I think I'd probably enjoy anything she writes though

I think her writing is good. I just think it lacked some world building. I was left with too many questions throughout the whole book.

I think it was quite different to her usual style, and looking at the reviews it seems to be one of those books you either love or hate. My only real issue was I had it on audiobook and Wes's accent was terrible bordering on offensive, but then I have issues with American views on Brits anyway

I didn't hate it, I just thought it was lacking compared to her other works. She usually builds her world very throughly. This didn't have that. I guess it was more on the lighter side than her other works, but I just felt like I was missing something. Like (view spoiler)[why were the humans and dragons fighting in the first place before the humans basically tried to eliminate the dragons? And I needed to see more dragons. the book is about dragons, supposedly, but what I saw was an angsty teen girl. Considering she was raised to mistrust humans I felt like she had way too much trust for them, not that she was assimilation. (hide spoiler)] But that's JMO. I will still read the next one, perhaps it will be better for me and get more into things.
