I'm so happy you ended up loving it too Tiana :) and now we wait for the next one, sigh....

Thanks Brooke, I guess I'll shelf this one for a while then. Doesn't seem like anything I need to rush to get to. I do love the cover though LOL! I'm a total cover hussie :)

I need to read this one too Bridget and Danielle. Want to try and get it read for our Mod RC because it looks really good.

I really liked it. And Belkis yep it's for the mod challenge and it's good, hurry up and read it both of you lol.

Between these I guess.

Lol how funny I am the opposite I LOVED book 1, probably because how realistic the family dynamic was and that impacts me a lot, and I was not a huge fan of book 2.

I really liked GWG too Danielle and still need to read book 2.

Hahaha! I'm trying Danielle, I really am :D just way too many good ones I'm dying to get to. Oh the decisions and the choices and the lack of time LOL!

The cover is why I grabbed it at ALA! LOL!

Hahaha! Okay this makes me feel better :)

So am I the only one rooting for Celaena to wind up with Dorian? Every review I've read seems to favor Chaol.

I don't like her with Dorian.

I don't like her with Dorian.

I am finding it hard to pick a guy. I have my favorite, but with 3 more books to go I'm sure Sarah can change my mind a few more times.

Hahaha she sure changed my mind because I'm kinda loving Rowan right now, although Aedion has also perked my interest;)

I love Chaol. I can only hope she ends with him. Though I love Rowan so much, too. But I just don't think their relationship is like that. Then there's Aedion, although he's a bit more pompous than I'd like. I guess we shall see.

I really enjoyed Hex Hall. They are a lot of fun and quick.

Hmm.. that's interesting Teresa. I think Celaena and Dorian decided they were much better off as friends. I do favor her ending up with Chaol and they do have fierce love for each other. But we'll have to see how it all plays out after the events in the end of book 2. However, the introduction of Rowan in this third book is a whole new layer of romantic prospects. I'm quite smitten with him LOL! And let's not rule out Aedion either because who knows?? He was sworn to be her protector and they were childhood friends/cousins. This is going to be a fantastic romantic battle indeed.

Oh I'd love to know your thoughts on this one Brooke. It looked so interesting. I'm hoping it doesn't turn out to be a disappointment. Keep us posted please.

I need to read this one. Maybe I'll just wait until all of the books for it are out. Hopefully it won't be longer than 3 books.

You know Laura I've had the Hex Hall series in my TBR and wasn't sure whether or not I'd read them but maybe I'll give them a go. Been thinking the same thing about

LOL! Exactly my feelings Tiana :)

Oh I have no doubts that she will Sara, and then some!

How does SHE get all the prospects? Seriously!

How does SHE get all the prospects? Seriously!

I know right Tracy?!? I mean we're all here for them too! I know Celaena is the one kicking butt and being heroic and noble and beautiful and courageous and royal and magical, wait okay maybe compared to her we're not real competition LMAO!

I liked the Hex Hall trilogy. book 1 was my favorite. I didn't like the spin off at all.

Heist Society is really good.

oh thanks Eboni, it does look rather interesting. I'll move it up my tbr :)

Oh I loved

I should check out Hex Hall. I like books with witches.

Guitar girl is good, the second one for me was ehhh but I'm in the third right now.

I haven't gotten to book 3 yet. Things have been really hectic. I liked Dorian because in the first book I just thought he was really sweet to Celaena and I thought he was a good person in spite of how eveil his father was. I thought Chaol came off as sort of cold and business like. Of course that changed in book 2 but by then I already had my heart set on Dorian. We'll see after I get to book 3. Is this going to be some sort of love quadrangle? :)

There's a third one?! I thought Girl With Guitar was only the 2 books... Oh sigh... more to add onto the never ending book pile I guess :$

Good question Teresa. Who knows. It's shaping up to be quite a romantic cocktail though :P

I'm only on chapter 3 Teresa but I'm liking it so far.

It didn't give me the same feel as the Hex Hall series. Like the author was using the ability to spin off just so she could have another book in the series, ya know?

Yep just riding the coattails hehe. I didn't care for it at all. Didn't hate it just didn't care for it

I just finished
and let me say that Chelsea Cain is wicked twisted. She writes Gretchen better than Stephen King writes...well anything of his I have read. I read a scene in
that I had to read in pieces and didn't think I would read anything more gross but Cain way exceeds that with psycho Gretchen.
