I might need to reread the first book :/

Laura Kaye is always a good choice :) love her books. Hope this one works out better for you and that you end up enjoying it Rebecca.

I know I will. Love Laura Kaye!

Going through my reads folder I can say I have a few books I really enjoyed that might fit this category. Maybe I can suggest a few. Just remember I read these a few years ago, but I'll give you a whole list. Lol

I rated these all 4 stars. Let me see what else I can find and I'll add some more.
Since you like Laura Kaye

Hope this helps :)

Oh I've heard so many great things about this series but I'm just a big ole chicken when it comes to bloody or scary reads LOL! Is this very scary Eboni?

Now listening to

Thanks! I have read Hearts in Darkness already and loved it! It was my first Laura Kaye. And I plan to read all the Brazen books eventually but I havent gotten to them yet.

Yea, I was surprised when I was checking them out for you to see that the hero series was from Laura Kaye, I read those wayyyy back and had no idea lol. The others at the top of the list are decent.
Now a PNR erotica, I can tell you a handful of those lol, especially werewolves/shifters I have a whole slew to recommend.

Oh Laura I really want to read A touch Of Mortal and Unbreakable. Now I'm really looking forward to them since you enjoyed them a lot.

This is a feeling that I know well.

Love that book/series!! But yeah, it's a bit gruesome (more so in the second book). But no more than any of the crime dramas on TV, like CSI. Oh and the author is really cool, too!

So what do you do to get out of it? Lol.

Really? I dig it, I mean a lot of the shifter books have that as a theme you know multiple mates and such. It's definitely an interesting dynamic when they are all jealous and alpha type men. Lol.

Haha, sorry. What are you replying to? I don't really get the context of your comment. :P

Same for me Rebecca. I also really enjoyed her Vampire Kings series :)

Maybe it's time for a genre change up? Maybe a YA, dystopian, contemporary,, or thriller??

Oh Katie I really want to read the River Of Time series. Please let me know how you like it :)

Thanks David, this one sounds like it's not for me LOL! My husband loves all of those TV series and I just cringe as he watches them hahahaha! So this series is definitely not one for me :)

Usually, I'll re-read something I know I love. It can help me get out of the book funk. That, or I'll switch to a completely different genre. Sometimes, you just burn yourself out and need to switch it up.

Demon underground is YA I think I've been jumping all around. :/ I'm thinking maybe the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, well at least book 1.

Very very true. I did the entire Fever series then the entire Riley Jenson Guardian series with a few books thrown in between..... The ONLY series I've ever reread sadly is twilight.

Oh YES! You can never go wrong with BDB and those HOT HOT Vamps LOL! I just reread book 1 last week and loved it all over again :)

This is so true Mello. I reread so many of my favorites eventhough I have such a huge pile of books to get to in my TBR and anytime I feel nostalgic or indecisive I find myself reaching for on of the books in my MOST LOVED EVER shelf and falling in love again and again :)

I get like that sometimes. Hate when that happens.

Spike's story was sooooo good.

You can't go wrong with the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Love those brothers;)

Not sure whats next. I should get

LOL! I hear you sweetie. We all suffer from that every now and then for sure :)

Right?!? Love them all :)

I'm hoping to get to Quinn & Blay's story soon Belkis!! Tohr's was so good and I know Q & B's will be epic!!!

Boundless has a pretty good ending! I think there was a few parts that dragged but it was a really good ending.
