I have book 3 queued up to read, but like you it's not pulling me back in. I do like it but I see your point about the slow-moving plot.

Coming off of my My Skylar (Gemini, #3) by Penelope Ward high and nothing is really even coming close, which is kind of depressing. I've read The Fall of January Cooper by Audrey Bell which was great in that unexpected kind of way, but could have used a bit more steam. Working on Compliments by Mari K. Cicero now, which is good. May need to toss in a YA switch-up here, I'm really missing my YA reads but I'm so far behind on blog contemp reviews that I can't seem to squeeze them in. This summer, maybe!! *crosses fingers*

Donna | 1350 comments Just finished The Genius and the Muse by Elizabeth Hunter . Why the heck did it take me so long to read it?! I swear EH can do no wrong. Absolutely will read anything she writes. Ah it was sooo gooood I finished it in a day. Thanks for the rec Belkis! Now, I need to find something equally as good to read....

I still need to read the first one in the Until series. Again, need more reading time :)"

I loved Until Trevor more than Until November but it was still good. Until Lilly we all know kinda what's going to happen.

Yea I generally do go through books quickly. But I'm a stay at home mom of 1 and for the most part he will let me read. Today he's a bit under the weather so I've been tending to him but he actually napped today, must be sick, and I was able to read for a while.

Bloodlines is so much better except TFH was basically a filler. I expect SS (Silver Shadows) to be epic based on the ending of TFH. I feel like Sydney has a bit more maturity to her than Rose did.

Erin I never read Covenant, and idk if I will based on hearing it's a carbon copy, but it took me reading book 1 2x to get into it. I checked it out from the lib barely could get into it, rechecked it out months later and pushed through the boringness of it and blew through the series after that. Yea I had a thing for the whole Demitri and Rose can't have a relationship thing. I liked the series. It's just one of those that you have to push through the first book.

Book 3 is really where the series picks up and becomes more enjoyable. Also there is Barrons and well more info on him.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Reading Until Lilly (Until, #3) by Aurora Rose Reynolds I want Jules to drop off the face of the earth, didn't like her in Until Trevor and definitely don't like her mucking up Cash's life.

I have to agree with liking Bloodlines more than VA. I liked VA, but think Sydney/Adrian's story is more mature and well developed. Excited for SS!

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Yeah I love Adrian in this series. I'm really excited to read his story. I feel bad for him cause Rose treats him like shit. But honestly, I love Rose and Dimitri. It's definitely like Covenant with Aiden and Alex being all forbidden and crap. But it's def just as good, too.

Omg Rose sooooo did and it got to the point that I wasn't sure who I wanted her to be with more because Adrian was just sooo sweet. But I think it's really good with Sydrian, they compliment each other really well, and they are more adult. More responsible, no one would ever put Adrian and Responsible in the same sentence in VA but they do in BLs....I find that interesting and shows he grew.

Exactly. When a the good character doesn't chew the bad character out enough, I sit around and re-write the scene in my head. Is that the sign of a sick mind?

Yeah, both VA and Bloodlines are great series. You're lucky the VA series is complete so you don't have to wait for the next book after the cliffhanger. The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines) ended on a major cliffhanger and I've been waiting months for the next book to find out what happens.
