ABANDONED. M/M, mc is kidnapped and abused by a group of men, but is attracts to the leader

The male main character is abducted and abused (sexually as well as physically I think?) by a group of men, but is attracted to and maybe falls for their leader. The cover is done in dark colors and shows a man bound to a chair facing towards the left with another man standing in front of him looking down at him threateningly (if I recall correctly). I think it was published within the past few years.

Do you remember why they abducted him? Was it some sort of revenge thing, or something the men did regularly, or mistaken identity, or secret evil society or...?

I see you're a member of the M/M group, have you considered cross-posting this to the Help! What's the name of that book? thread over there? Just to increase the chances of it being solved, they definitely know their stuff when it comes to recognizing m/m books.

ETA: is this a contemporary book or another flavor like paranormal, historical, scifi etc?

I think it was contemporary. I only ever had a sample of it, but it was from Amazon, so Kindle ebook.

They probably have multiple covers for it, 'cause I just can't seem to find it anywhere, and I've read/marked other books dealing with the same triggers, so I would have thought it would show up on the rec's.

No, I think it was just regular humans...? If you remember the shifter book's name though, I'll check it out and see. I came across this book a year ago, so I don't remember all the details.

Just chiming in to say I've read it and while it's definitely not my favorite of Gregg's it's actually not as well, 'not nice' is a good way to put it, as it sounds from the blurb.

Yeah, jus looked at it, but no romance and just sex (as it looks like from reviews) is not my thing.

It's still not the book that I'm looking for, though :(

How many men were there? and are you sure it was the leader the victim fell for, or could it have been any of the guys?

Fog: A Novel of Desire and Reprisal sounds like it's kinda similar but it's the secondary kidnapper who develops a relationship to the kidnapped guy. Plus the kidnapper guy(s?) are bears and apparently there's a lot of emphasis on describing that in the book. Think you probably would have mentioned it. That said, it's on a lot of listopia lists that your book could fit on so it's worth checking out for that.

I euh didn't mean any disrespect to the author , i just find the plot "not nice" because my friend as i said read it and the Shifters used the poor guy :( and then wanted to discard him , but he ended up the exclusive "pet" of the Alpha!!

I looked at the listopia lists immediately after I lost the sample of the book, but didn't see it. Of course, I only looked at the covers and it might have had multiple covers...lol so I dunno.

Well this one has gotten under my skin and it's bugging me now so I'm probably gonna keep looking till somebody finds it. How about Antidoteby Jack L. Pyke? Cover is sort of similar-ish to what you describe and the synopsis sounds kinda promising.
