Drugged, bound, and left as bait on the cusp of the lunar cycle, Wyatt Redding is faced with a terrifying set of no-win scenarios. Best case: he survives the coming days as a werewolf pack’s plaything and returns to the city as a second-class citizen with the mark—and protection—of the pack. Worst case: the wolves sate their lusts with Wyatt’s body, then send him home with ...more

Trigger warning: explicit non-con/dub-con; gang rape; torture/murder; humiliation; violence.

The entire book consists of Wyatt, a 28-year-old human, being gang raped by a pack of wolf shifters. The pack alpha, Cole, eventually makes Wyatt his and keeps him as a fuck toy.

There is no world building. We are told that once a month when the moon is full, the wolves come out to rape and pillage, so people hide and fortify their doors against attack.

These are not nice wolves, you hear?

Woah, this book was something else! If you like bare bones non-con, violence, LOTS of sex and no romance to speak of, this book is for you! Unfortunately, I like some world-building and some relationship-building, even with my taboo reads.

I went into this book knowing full well that it was going to be a non-stop orgy of sorts with lots of dub-con/non-con. I'm okay with that. Though non-con isn't usually my thing, I can get down with it in some cases. In fact, "The Last Pure Human" (go

After reading a few reviews that piqued my curiosity, I ultimately decided this short story about wolf packs and their insatiable lust just wasn’t my thing. But now, thanks to the Lendle gods, I now have a copy in my hot little hands!

Which I’ve read in one sitting and enjoyed way more than I expected to. I feel dirty enough as it is. Don’t judge me.

"You need a dick in this ass, human. A lot of dicks. Fortunate for you that you'll be fucked in abundance. Now shut up."

This starts the tone of Kari Gregg's latest, "Tame a Wild Human" but it does not define this paranormal erotica treat. Set in an urban fantasy setting, this story reminded me a little of the movie, "The Purge". In this world, instead of purging out the weak, wolves and humans live together but every full moon, wolves are a

I received this book as an ARC through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I suppose if I had been able to take this seriously I would have found this book one of the most offensive things I've ever read.
Make no mistake about it, this is non con. Wyatt may be resigned to his circumstances, might even have it worse back in the human lands, but he in no way consents, or is even able to consent. This doesn't change. There is some silly non-sense with Alpha blood, mates, evil humans, and Wya

Recommends it for: M/M Erotica fans who enjoys depravity with their kinky reads.

Tame a Wild Human is an unreserved hardcore wolf gangbang great for the spank bank. Downright primal, lustful and depraved. An unapologetic rape fantasy. Know that this is pure erotica, one that aims to get you off not the type to melt your heart with sweet romance. To be clear, there is not a trace of romance within its pages, just sexy dominance and submission cum with plentiful servings of humiliation and degradation. Come on, the poor guy was pumped full of cum inside out I am surprised he d

Betrayed by a family member is not a surprise for Wyatt. It's the timing which threw him off. Wyatt is an up and coming lawyer in a good firm. His earning potential is high. He will be in that corner office soon. Unfortunately for him, he's now thrown into a situation which has no good scenarios. Either he's fucked to death or he's fucked to death - one is literally and the other is figuratively.

WARNING: For readers looking for a complicated plot or a complex world building, this is not going t
This is what I was expecting my reaction to be:

But instead, I was all:

This book is completely ridiculous, and that's what made it enjoyable.

Spoilers below.

Wyatt Redding is a twenty-eight year old lawyer at a prestigious law firm, and is on his way to making senior partner. His jealous and indebted brother isn't so happy with this, so he decides to kidnap Wyatt and leave him in werewolf territory on the eve of the full moon. During the full moon, werewolves go crazy with lust and violence, and an

This is not a read for everyone. Just putting that out there up front. It is dark dystopian erotica. If you don’t like this genre, proceed with caution.

For those intrepid readers (DMC-ers!) this is one to definitely try. I’ve been up and down with this author’s work but the paranormal (PNR)/fantasy reads have usually been fun. Anyone who’s read Ms Gregg’s PNR knows what to expect here: great writing, titillating story, and some kind of (even a bit of) world-building to make it all hang.

Seems a bit unfinished to me, but it's still Kari Gregg.
It's filthy, non-con, but they are werewolves, so you can't expect them to wear slippers and offer bubble baths.
So, yes. Grrrr.

Kari Gregg is one of a very small number of writers that I consider essentially a genre unto themselves. Just about everything she's written, no matter what the setting, explores a similar set of themes, and her work really doesn't feel like anyone else's. There is a quality to her stories that I'll call “phatasmogoric." I have no idea if that's accurate, but it's my attempt at capturing the way her stories feel like unmediated, free-wheeling journeys through the id, with a jolting lack of moral ...more

The high rating is severely subjective because I have a massive kink for non-con submission training. I'm also not bothered by the lack of romance because I see a different kind of love being formed (although I am bothered when people categorize this under MM Romance).

We begin the story with some world-building. Werewolves rule the streets of mankind, taking humans by force during the lunar cycle. If, after three days of rape, the human doesn't win a token of protection from the pack, they are
Before I read this I've read my friends reviews. So I know what to expect. I put on my mindcondom and whatthef***ever-shades on. Preparing myself to enjoy (hoping anyway) the ride.

Holy shit. This was BRUTAL. It keeps reminding me one of those horror-thriller movie flicks. The Purge. But instead of human hunts human, this one take a werewolves as an MC to hunts human.

Because everyone should know that when your rapists use lube it means they care.

I usually enjoy Kari Gregg's work. The blurb makes it sound like this should be something I might like...the blurb lied to me!! (the rat bastard)

I'd say this book was all sex, but it isn't. It is all rape. (In case you are unsure, sex and rape are two very different things that may appear to have some physical similarities but come from vastly different mental places.) And choosing to submit to rape instead of being

This is going to be a love it, or hate it book for readers.

If you disliked "I, Omega", don't read this. Frankly, that novel had more depth, even if this one was probably better written.

Myself, I'd give it 4 stars, but I'm a bit pissed that there won't be a sequel. This would be perfect as a short series. Gah!

Will increase rating if I enjoy it as much on a second read.

I decided to read this as part of some bastardised version of Weird Shit Wednesday. I'm not part of any group officially doing it, but it seemed like a fun idea. So, I appropriated it. Granted, Tame a Wild Human isn't as out there as Taken By The Gay Unicorn Biker or My Billionaire Triceratops Craves Gay Ass, both of which I've seen pass my Goodreads feed on Wednesdays, but it's weird for me. I chose it because someone said it had knotting in it and I'd never read a shifter book that explored

This was an interesting shifter story. It’s pretty rough, with Wyatt being kidnapped by his own brother and thrown to the wolves.

In this world, which unfortunately, we don’t learn much about, the wolves rule, and during their 3 day lunar phase, they pretty much sate themselves on whatever humans are sacrificed or found in their territory. If the humans gain favor in the form of protection from a particular wolf, they are claimed and safe from other wolves and

Okay, I went into this knowing it wasn't my cup of tea but decided to read it anyway since I like some of the author's works. This is definitely not a romance in any form. My one star rating isn't even from the gang banging/rape scenes which weren't sexy in anyway. It was like starting in the middle of a book and then it just ended. There's not going to be a sequel so were just left hanging with lots of questions. Very unsatisfying.

I didn't realize this was going to be a story about the repeated rape of a straight human male by a pack of werewolves during a full moon when I requested to read this one. I have read some of this author's work before, and liked it, but this was not really my style of read.

Wyatt has been kidnapped, drugged, bound and left for the wolves by his own brother. Despite being a successful lawyer, Wyatt knows his life is now, well, over. If he survives the wolves, returning to his old life is impossib

ARC provided by the publisher through Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words in exchange for an impartial review.

As the story opens, Wyatt Redding is thrown to the wolves—literally. In this world, humans avoid the wolves during the three days of every full moon. The wolves are superior to the humans in both strength and cunning, and humans who venture too close to the woods during the full moon have been known to disappear forever. It’s worse for those who don’t disappear—once it’s known they have

SPOILER ALERT! I talk more about the plot than I usually in this review…. If you don’t want to see it stop here!

This is a hard book for me to review…. I didn’t care for it, but I appreciate the writing. I’ve read several books by Kari Gregg before and liked them very much, including her werewolf books. But this one was not my cup of tea at all! I did read the blurb, but didn’t realize there would be as little plot as there was and how much rape it included.

I have to confess – this title totally grabbed my attention. The blurb piqued my interest. I was curious, so decided to give it a try. I was surprised, a little shocked, and definitely titillated.

The surprise – he got sold out by his own brother. Just how cold is that? Talk about your brotherly love! There wasn’t much world building in this, but from what there was, it appears “going to the wolves” is a common thing. It is expected that people will be “taken” for the three day

My Review:
This is a different world than the one we live in now. For three days every month, the werewolves run wild and normal humans stay locked in their houses where it's safe. Wyatt is a lawyer with a good normal life, but a jerk of a brother who's decided that Wyatt isn't giving him enough. So he drugs Wyatt and drops him gagged and bound into wolf territory where he will most definitely be used as the wolves plaything for the three days of the full moon. Once that happens, Wyatt's life is

This is the first book by Kari Gregg that I've read. And, sadly, this book was not for me. At. All. It definitely wasn't what I expected from reading the blurb when I requested it but, thankfully, the publisher has added a content warning to Netgalley. I don't recall seeing it when I requested the book, but if it was there, I completely missed it. Nevertheless, be warned, if complete non-con is not your thing, this book w

I don't know, I don't have a category for erotica, but that's what it is, with a slap dash of mates at the end. It's less than 70 pages and 50 must be sex in some form. Pretty much all of it what I consider non-con. Sure he consents, but he knows if he doesn't they'll kill him, or someone will. So I'm pretty sure it's still rape even you agree to take it and maybe even have an orgasm. Kind of reminds me of Ian's Choice (Wolves' Heat, #1)Odessa Lynne in some ways. Reluctant submission but not brutal taking, they actually do take time to 'warm him up'.

I glanced at a few reviews and there's a lot of negative.. I'd like to go back and look at the wolves heat series and see if there's the same kind of negative.. simply because it's basically the same thing. Before I make any comments the book "Collared by Karl Gregg", is a masterpiece and my expectations might have been very high for this book. I would like to say the book Story was fine, but there is a lot of missing information. The noncon wasn't awful, the outcome seemed better than expected but wow it was a mess as far as continuity. I was lost through 80% of this.

Warning this book is not for the faint of heart it is dark and violent. Wyatt has been given over to the werewolves to be their plaything for 3 days. After the 3 days if he survives he will be detested by the human world his only chance is to when a token and be put under the protection of the wolf pack. Wyatt soon finds he likes the attention of the pack, especially by their Alpha. I enjoyed the story, if you can get past the violence it does show an interesting take on human nature.
