Can't agree more. Agatha always keeps you guessing. I would hate to see a movie of the novel. Too scary!

Exactly! It's been ages since I've read the book but it's left such a deep impression in my mind that I still recall how desperate I was to get to the end to know how 'there were none'!You want suspense...It's Christie!

This was a great book! I found so many aspects intriguing. And like you said one of them is the mental undoing of the characters. At first they scoff at the idea of murder when the first person died. They think maybe did he kill himself? They even seem to enjoy each other's company but as the deaths come again and again they are more unnerved, less social because anyone else could be next... and anyone they are eating with could kill them the moment they turn their backs!
This was a great book I loved writing the review to it as well.
This was my first (but definitely won't be last) Agatha Christie book I ever read!

This book was introduced to me by a friend who promised me that it was the best murder mystery story she has ever read. So I gave the book a go and in my conclusion IT IS THE BEST MURDER MYSTERY STORY I HAVE EVER READ till this very day. I don’t know if it’s just me and reading the wrong novels but every murder mystery story, or just crime story I have ever encountered I was always able to guess the main murderer, but in this novel, oh no it was an absolute surprise.

Anyway, about this book: It was weird, but I saw the movie first (I don't even know which adaptation) and the suspense was so awesome, that I wanted to read it. I had never read anything by Agatha Christie. And then, the book was even better! Later, I read most of her other stories, but this one remains my favorite!
