Fantasy and Sci-Fi favorites?

Hi folks,

I tend to stick to the Fantasy and Sci-Fi genres and wonder if anyone has some recommendations. My favorites from last year are Patrick Rothfuss' books, "The Name of the Wind" and "The Wise Man's Fear" and Ernest Cline's "Ready Player One"
