Hi Christina - I edited your topic header to increase the chances of your post being seen by someone who knows the series.

How long ago did you read these? Any other details you can remember will also help!

Books by John Bellairs perhaps? Or perhaps Christopher Pike? Both wrote about the same time and similar topics.

Some other series that were similar to/knock-offs of Goosebumps:

Bone Chillers by Betsy Haynes
Deadtime Stories by A.G. Cascone
Mindwarp by Chris Archer
Spinetinglers by M.T. Coffin

Goosebumps parody: Gooflumps R.U. Slime

message 8: by Cory (new)

Cory (drakescott) | 9 comments It doesn't start with the letter "j," but another possibility might be the Shivers series by M.D. Spenser.

Do any of these look familiar?

We'd like to shelve a book from your series, if possible.

Do you mean the Uncollected series?

message 17: by A.J. (new)

A.J. | 82 comments I can't find the titles on Goodreads, but it sounds like it might be *Deadly!* or *Wicked!* which was written by Paul Jennings.
They are each composed of six individual books that read like *D.E.A.D.L.Y* and *W.I.C.K.E.D* in the paperback format.
They are morbid but funny.
