Cole gave him a bottle of water. "You sound thirsty" she chuckled softly. Alice glanced up and rolled her eyes. "What?" Cole asked. "Nothing" Ali replied.
"There was a choice, she offered a choice. I chose the burning stone." He muttered.
Cole raised an eyebrow. "Um, OK....do you want the water?" She asked.
"Water, yes. There was a river. I, I can't remember."
Cole nodded and took of the cap from the bottle and handed the bottle to him. "OK, you need to drink"
'And maybe get a therapist' She thought

The guy took the water and carefully sipped it. Color was returning to his face slowly.
Cole smiled brightly. "There you go!" She stood up. "Were going to need to take you to the Infermary" she said softly.
He nodded, like that was where he intended on going.
Cole smiled. "Can, you stand?" She asked. Without waiting for a reply she helped him up and put his shoulder around her so she could carry him. "Alice?" She asked. Ali waved her hand in a dismissive gesture. "Bye"
He wrapped his arm around her to hold himself upright. He started hopping forward with his good leg.
"Your in pretty bad shape, what happened?" Cole asked gently.
"I don't remember. I woke up in a smoldering field with a spear in me. I had to pull it out."
Cole froze. Could it? No, it wasn't possible. "Um, was the spear in you abdomen?" She asked her voice barely audible. No wonder he looked so familiar
"Yeah, it was right here." He pointed to a giant hole in his shirt. There was a scar in the center of it. "Maybe I was hallucinating though."
"Wait a minute." He stopped. "You're a Greek."
Cole looked at him, her face drained of all color. "Y-your supposed to be dead, Mat" She whispered.
He looked at her. "How do you know my name?"
Cole looked away from him and stare straight ahead. "Do you remember anything about before you woke up?"
"No, just blurry dark images. Why should I talk to you anyways?"
"I didn't kill you" she offered
"That may be, but you are my enemy."
"I don't have to be" Cole saod
He looked at her for a wile, then finally replied. " Fine, but that's only because I'm dead meat out here." He started hopping again.
Cole smirked. "Still the old Mat" she thought. She looked at him. "Your going to.need to change your shirt, no one is going to want to help a Roman, no offence"
"That and it is barely intact."
"It's still purple, no one wears purple in camp" Cole retorted. She looked around as if looking for a random Camp Half Blood shirt
A wave of nausea passed over mat and he began to lose his balance.
Cole put a hand on his chest to steady him. "You need to sit down" she murmured and led him to a fallen log.
Mat kneeled down and was holding his stomach as if he had to vomit. He leaned vet and coughed up blood.
Cope closed her eyes and looked away. Trying hard not to cry she said. "Your not going to get to the Infermary sitting there"
He looked up at her. "Do you have any ambrosia or nectar."
"N-no" she said. A tear rolled down her cheek but she brushed it away quickly. "Come on" she said and helped him up again.
He reached into his pocket as if to pull something out, but returned empty handed. He started hopping again at a faster pace.
Cole walked at a faster pace. "You were looking for the key, right?" She asked before she could stop herself. "Never mind!" She said quickly
"H,how do you know so much about me?" He said shaking.
"D-don't talk, walk" Cole said
They continued walking. They were almost there when mat passed out.
Cole stumbled at the sudden weight and fell to the ground taking the blow. She squirmed and came out from under Mat. She sighed then shook his shoulders. "Mat! Wake up!"
He groaned as if he was trying to stay conscious.
"Mat, come on...Don't leave me again" Cole said the last part under her breath.
Miraculacy, he was able to get up again. His leg was covered in puss. His face was colorless and in pain. He was driven mainly by adrenaline.
Cole sighed and held him upright. "Faster we get there the better" she said and started to walk once again.

Crystal walks along the paths singing one of her favorite songs. Human by Christina Perri. She felt like it described her just right. She loved songs like that.
Sean had felt like just walking for once as he came up behind her not really paying attention besides which direction he was going.
She smiles and continues singing gently walking with her eyes closed since she knew these paths like the back of her hand.
Sean got close enough to hear her voice and smiled as he recognized the voice. "Hey babe" he whispered behind her.
She yelps and jumps whirling around. "My gods Sean." She says with a laugh.
