It was about a man who travelled through dreams and was able to bring them to reality. He later understands just how much his power can affect people when it starts messing with the government and the way the world works in general.
Banyan walked along the path towards the forest. He was heading over to see his friends. He had just received his assignment the other day and to share the news with them. As he walked, he munched on some sunflowers he had found in his cabin.

((A bit cliché, but meh.))
Banyan stumbled backwards and gripped his sunflowers tighter, bleating and crushing the half eaten flowers in surprise. "Oh, gods!" he gasped when the girl fell backwards. He knelt down beside the girl. "Hey," he said. "Are you alright?"

"Y-yeah, sorry. It's just... Good book. Very good." As if suddenly remembering something, she searched around for her book and grabbed it, checking it for injuries. She wasn't one to keep her books extremely organized - in fact, the more ripped and battered her books were, the more she loved them. It was strange, but proven right.
"That's okay," Banyan said. "You harm done." Silently, he added to himself, "Well, other than my crushed my snack." He glanced down at the destroyed sunflowers in his hands, a little disappointed. He had a feeling his sister probably arranged them herself, so not only did he not have a snack, but he also was going to be scolded for eating the cabin decorations for almost nothing for recompense.
When he looked back at the girl, she seemed to care more about the book she dropped than herself. "You, um, didn't answer my question," he said. "Are you okay? It looks like you fell backwards pretty hard."

"Yeah," said Banyan, nodded. "Beautiful, scrumptious sunflowers..." He looked at their crushed remains sadly before perking up a little. "But it's okay as long as neither of us are hurt. There will be delicious flowers." He rose again and held out a hand to help her back to her feet.
"The forest," said Banyan with a smile. "I'm going to see some friends to tell them I about my first assignment outside of camp."

"Ah, that's cool. What's the assignment?" She asked in curiosity.
((Sorry for taking a while to respond. I am away on vacation, so I was out all day yesterday. I probably will be today too.))
Banyan smiled at her. "Looking for demigods in the public school system," he said. "I am starting a bit later than most other satyrs, but I am also a demigod technically."

"Well, Pan is my dad," said Banyan. "Pretty obvious, I suppose." He gestured to his goat horns just sticking out of his curly, brown hair, hairy, goat legs, and hooves with a chuckle. "And my mom is, well, a daughter of the camp director."

Banyan shrugged a little. "Truthfully, when you think about it, everyone is related in some way," he said. "The first man and woman had children, but people forget that, in order for there to have been a human species, those children had no one else to mate with but each other. I guess it just means that we are never alone. There is always someone that we have some type of connection to."

"I see," said Banyan, a little more disappointed than he expected he would be. This probably meant they had to part ways since they were walking in opposite directions. He had hoped to talk to her a while longer. "I guess I should probably head into the forest to find my friends."
Banyan kind of wished she had offered to come with or asked him to stay. "Um... Bye," he said lamely.
((Think they will work? Also... Should we have them part ways and have them bump into each other again?))

Banyan smiled awkwardly at her. "Yeah," he said, making a noise somewhere between a crack in his voice and a bleat. He cleared his throat. "I mean, yeah. That's alright."
((I kind of want to roleplay him bringing a demigod into camp for the first time at some point. Time-wise, do you want them to bump into each other after? Or ooh! How about Karolina is going to the same school as where he was assigned?! Do you have a demigod that is new to camp; or one that he can find and escort to camp?))

She turned and started to walk away, clutching her book and still looking at the spider on her hand.

((Yeah, Leila can work. It should definitely be interesting. Would Leila continue to copy Karolina and if so, wouldn't she also take an interest in Banyan too?))

She decided she should at least alert him to her presence.
"Hey there," she greeted, rubbing a bit of green paint off her forehead.
