((Speaking of betrothal have yo ever seen Fiddler On The Roof? It's a really good play.))
Virginia laughed. "Well, it's a good thing our dads are not supposed to be involved too much in the fate of mortals," she said. "Let alone matchmake for their demigod children. Besides I doubt your dad would have chosen me for your betrothal. He would choose someone stronger and more beautiful."
((Lol Yeah, I have seen it. My family even went to see it on Broadway last winter.))
((Lol Yeah, I have seen it. My family even went to see it on Broadway last winter.))

Virginia blushed and offered her an embarrassed smile. "But wouldn't it be harder to elope with our dads being able to be in multiple places at once?" she asked.
"Well, you know, as long as we don't end up with someone who is the kid of a god they hate," said Virginia.

"Me like your grandpa?" Virginia asked in amazement. "So that is why you like me so much." She chuckled.

"I don't know about cool. I was always a trouble maker and class clown. But you definitely should have more fun that is the case," said Virginia.
"You are quite welcome," said Virginia with a grin. They were coming into view of the stables. Just as the mare stopped in front of the building, she turned again. "You are welcome any time if your day is full of cloudy skies." She gently pressed a kiss to her cheek before dismounting. "Do you need any help down?" she asked.

Virginia chuckled in amusement. "You sure?" she asked. "I am pretty sure your speaking voice is not normally that many octaves high."

Virginia laughed good-naturedly. "You know, you become so awkward when it comes to gestures of affection. I have not even given you a real kiss on the lips yet," she said.
Being around Lee was much different from when she was still seeing her ex-girlfriend. The two of them had a relationship full of sorts of gestures of affection while Lee became awkward and serious whenever she even showed a sign of flirtation or affection, but it was a good different. She found her blushes endearing. A mischievous part of her loved making her blush almost as much as she loved making her laugh. "Oh, you'll get used to them!" said Virginia, "because I give plenty."
"Yeah, of course!" Virginia said, grabbing her hand and nearly running off before she brought her mare some oats. "Oh, wait," she said. "I just need to feed my steed here before we go." She squeezed Lee's hand affectionately before leading her horse into the stables.
"Here you go, Chestnut," said Virginia, stroking the mare's creamy white muzzle when Chestnut nudged her. She poured the oats into a trough for the horse and closed the bag of oats before saying goodbye to her four-hooved friend and closing the stable door.
Virginia grinned at her and curtsied despite the fact she was not wearing a skirt. "Is my knight in shining armor going to sweep me off my feet and carry me off to the ice cream shop?" she asked with a laugh.
Virginia giggled and held out her hand for Lee to take and lead her. "Then, lead me, my noble knight," she said.
Virginia laughed and grabbed Lee's hand instead. "Okay. Then, I guess I get to carry you off to the ice cream shop," she said, starting to run towards the border of camp and pulling Lee along with her.
